  1. It was going to be a pick six. We went on and scored. So 14 point swing. So no problem with that being considered the turning point.
  2. I’ll give SOME credit to our kicking game (not ready to name him by name yet) for going 4/5 after being 4/10 previously. It’s like baby steps.
  3. I see the appeal by the Edmonton coaching staff on a guy like Cornelius. Good arm and extremely mobile, but man this guy does not have the IT factor with his QB IQ. He simply cannot read a play. Remember Bishop was once upon the future in New England over a guy like Brady and threw the prettiest ball I’ve ever seen but he could not read a defense.
  4. Not good for a team like Edmonton with “stars” to be completely done. Winnipeg winning means nothing to the league so yes we havent gotten favourable calls
  5. Not even the best defense he’s faced!
  6. Man oh man Oliveria is a Harris clone.
  7. Haha very true. We are spoiled. Every game isn’t going to be a 40-10 thrashing. Even great teams have tough games.
  8. Time to see what they got. Love Nufie but he’s not a tackle.
  9. I would have ran the ball until they proved they could stop it but that’s just me.
  10. This is the O’Shea trickery I’ve missed and loved so much.
  11. Playing as a guard at tackle is not an easy feat.
  12. Missing Hardrick so far.
  13. Exactly the worst thing this team can do is come complacent. The teams that win championships are the teams that are firing on all cylinders late in the season.
  14. So kicking game is going to cost us a big game if we don’t get it under control. This is painful.
  15. I don’t trust a kicker with the name crap in his name. It’s bad ju ju
  16. Agreed. You know your team is good when a 30-3 victory is considered ugly. I was at the game with my gf and she was wondering why I was so upset lol!
  17. It’s looking like this is going to be an all time great defense. I wonder if someone makes a run at Ritchie Hall as head coach again in the off season.
  18. Good Choice! He was probably the best second and long receiver I’ve ever seen. If you needed a first down he was so frusterating because you knew the ball was coming to him and he was going to catch it for a first down every single time.
  19. Why do all these things happening feel like it was 20 years ago? Man Covid-19 has certainly distorted time in a weird way!
  20. In all seriousness I don’t think I ever saw Milt Stegall drop a football until his last season. He was just that good.
  21. Thing is we have to keep in mind I think 95 percent of us have been in a situation in which we could have technically blown over but athletes are held at a different standard for better and worse.
  22. Now that I’ve had time to absorb the information.. let’s remember that we’re all human and we make mistakes. Demonizing someone does us no good. Let’s hope he learns his lesson and comes back a better man. He needs support and we should give it to him. Selfishly I was angry because of the effect on the team and Ofcourse his wreck less decision but staying angry does no good and he needs support.
  23. Agreed. Mistakes happen but when so much is on the line you can not make these kind of decisions.
  24. Agreed. Not only was it dangerous and irresponsible but as an athlete you never know when it’s going to be your last moment on the field. Decisions like this jeopardize your career. Not impressed.
