  1. The o-line was BAD, the expansion draft where we got two starters in Khan and St.Germaine was huge for our club going back to being respectable in 2006. Tee didn’t have time to throw the ball but he was bad.
  2. Exactly. I loved the 01-03 years but 04-05 were pretty ugly and that was on Taman. He was what he was.
  3. Those three were leaps and bound our best and most impactful players. I’m not trying to stick up for Mike Kelly or anything but I’m just saying.
  4. Yes he brought in our three best players on defense in one year. Aka our nucleus. Mack was a decent scout I don’t deny some of the talent he brought in but because of the reasons you mention above he was not a good GM.
  5. 100 percent. The nucleus of that 2011 team was Mike Kelly players. Mack was NOT a good GM.
  6. Also another note. It’s refeshing to see us continue to find solid Canadian talent and depth after YEARS of horrible drafting and straight up Canadian negligence by previous regimes. Good teams will lose Canadian talent because you can’t pay everyone a premium but the amount of depth and young talent coming in is really wonderful.
  7. Whether you like him or dislike him you can’t deny how good Kyle Walters is at assessing Canadian talent. Another solid draft overall for the Bombers.
  8. It was against us go figure! I actually remember that game.
  9. Sad thing is he would probably be their best option right now
  10. 2005 team was trash. But yeah you’re right.
  11. Sadly he was our best player not named Milt Stegall back in 2005
  12. As a Kelvin alumni who graduated ten years ago this year this is really sad.
  13. Another jack ass blaming his behaviour on “mental health”
  14. Over 1600 rushing yards and nearly 7 YPC his sophomore year. Put up some nice stats in college.
  15. Keith Stokes was electrifying. Jovon was amazing for a short period of time as well.
  16. Our top end talent was great! Too bad we had zero depth.
  17. JJ and Hefney were AMAZING back in their prime. All good things come to and end!! Happy retirement Jovon.
  18. We didn’t whif. We gave competitive offers but there was teams out there desperate enough to back the brink trucks. We’re a good team. We don’t need to over pay players, while I would have loved to get one of them, there’s still some decent receivers on the market.
  19. Toronto.. 18 wins In the past theee seasons, one playoff appearance. Winnipeg.. 33 wins in the past three seasons, three playoff appearances. Whatever you say Darrin!
  20. Bull. It’s through scouting, and drafting. You can add, heck a free agent signing may even put you over the top but you do not build through free agency.
  21. 200k for Posey is absolutely riddicious. Hard to imagine Chris Matthews getting less, but I’d rather have him anyways, he proved in Calgary he could still be a dangerous receiver.
  22. Well in all fairness what is he going to do in Saskatchewan? Visit cousin Leroy’s Hardware store..
  23. Nope! We were always a much better team with Dressler in our lineup. One of the key players that started the turn around of the culture change in Winnipeg.
  24. Lulay, scrambles from the pocket, his receiver Watson with a great block on the linebacker coming in on the blitz.. he sees Dressler!!! FIRST DOWN Riders! No this isn’t 2009 it’s 2019 😂
  25. I could see it.
