So why are the Stampederes the benefactors of every call week in and week out?
-
Neither team wants to be winless going into week three. Should be a good football game.

Biggest Rivalry in the CFL: Regina Winnipeg

The funny thing is this guys behaviour is typical that of a Rider Fan on their board. Completely arrogant about their shitty football team. -

Yeah I see a balanced attack. I think Flanders gets some carries once we get a healthy lead. We don't need Harris hurt. -

4 Grey Cups in a century and Rider fans act like they're the messiah of pro football.. -

32 years old. Canadian.. And 24 sacks in the past two seasons. That's a weird example. -

Well they only lost by 1 point to the second worst team in the league. For a team that hasn't won too many games in the past two and a half years moral victories are something that should be considered an accomplishment in Riderville. -

Hate to burst your bubble but those are all terrible options and Jones/Murphy should be embarrassed by your Canadian content. -

My prediction for Saturday's contest.. Nichols throws for 300 yards with 3 TD's and no turn overs. Harris runs for just shy of a 100 yards, Bombers win by 20 plus points, and Rider fans implode until next half way through next week where they still insist they have a capable roster, and Jones is the greatest thing since sliced bread. -

I would pass on Alzner. Rumor has it he's looking for a 6 year deal. I'm guessing he'll get around 5 million. I'd rather not give that price or term to Alzner.

Around the League - Regular Season Discussion (Redux)

So I went to make my weekly CFL bet online.. And.. Toronto three point favourites on BC Winnipeg 1 point favourites against SASK Easy money! I don't see Ray bullying BC's defense the way they did against Hamilton. Also Calgary favored by 7.5.. I think it will be another close game. -
Doug Brown: A CFL National Treasure
Arnold_Palmer replied to Noeller's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Wish we would have got Doug Brown a ring. He was an absolute terror on the defensive line and deserved a better fate. -
Gamble because of his salary. He makes 250 thousand a year and on the wrong side of 30. But there's no doubt he can play.

Bombers select REC Drew Wolitarsky in supplemental draft

Excellent. Good value for a third. Let's hope he turns out better than Kito Poblah. -

It's never easy beating the Riders in Saskachewan, the Bombere will have to bring their A game to come out with a victory. -
You would have to think Austin is on the hot seat this season. One more medicore/under achieving year and you would think its time to go another direction..

I picked the Argos D in fantasy this week
-
I have the Argos pegged to be the number two seed in the East this year. Coaching not goes a long way!

My thoughts about tonight's game. - Eskies DLine dominates the BC OLine - Jennings was off, fumbled the ball, his long ball was off, and he held on to the ball too long but boy can he really throw it. -White and Johnson are two underrated running backs. Both complete their offenses so well. - Williams will be the next all star reciever in the league. But on that note have you noticed receivers getting away with pushing off the DB. Kind of un fair considering you barely breathe on a reciever and it gets called for pass interference - Nick Moore was the best reciever for BC tonight. -Quiet nights for Arceneaux and Bowman. - Rielly is my favourite non Bomber QB - Adam Kontar was all over the field. I really like his game. -Johnny Adams had a rough outing tonight. - Bad penalties from Edmonton late in the game. -Ty Long welcome to the CFL you'll have to be better next time. -Edmonton will be dangerous regardless this season because their offense is so good. -BC will be a good team but I'm not sure if they're a great team. Jenning still has room to grow as a QB.

Medias built up the Lions pretty big heading into the season and labeled them as one of the elite teams. They'll have to play better then they are right now to convince me they're even a better team then we are right now.
-
The whole point of command centre is to get the damn play right, scrap it if that's his attitude.
-
Watching the half time show and they're talking about the "controversial" plays of the command centre, and instead of Glenn Johnson admitting fault he says you better get used to it! Any close call that may take minutes to decide is "slowing down the pace of the game." Get out of here with that crap. Either scrap replay completely or take the time to get it right.

I would go with Elliot on a two year deal. I think he's a good goaltender and should come relatively cheap. I still have faith in Hellebuyck as a number one goaltender, and obviously another year or two of Comrie in the minors will be good for him. In the long term picture I don't think the Jets goaltender situation is as doom and gloom as most people think.
-
Looks like by all accounts the Jets did pretty well in the draft. Kristian Vesalainen was seen as a top ten draft pick at one point, and some experts predicted Samberg would have been a first rounder.
