I took the RedBlacks on playnow to win. They're at home, I think Trevor Harris is a good QB, obviously Calgary is a great football team but anything can happen in football and I'm going to give a little respect to the defending grey cup champs.

Actually i think it would have. Neither QB had great success but Durant had 2 TD's and no turn overs. Kevin Glenn with 1 TD and an INT. When the games so close this is the difference between winning 17-16 and losing 17-16

Isn't the review done through the command center? technically that wouldn't fall on the refs, reffing the game.

A lot of classy Rider fans telling Durant to go f*** himself on the rider board. Not a great way to treat a guy who won you a Grey Cup and layed it on the line night in and night out. The loss looks good on them.

Completely unrelated to any conversation we've been having on here but I'm so glad football is back. Even though the Bombers have the bye, I'm just excited to see some football, and for the first time in years and years I'm more than cautiously optimistic about our football team this year.

I say let the media build him the Riders. It's just going to be that much sweeter when they crash and burn.

I took Durant and Ernest Jackson on my draft kings team. I fully expect to see a focused Darian Durant put up big numbers against his former team.

People keep on saying we can't count on being plus 29 on the turn over ratio, I say fair enough, but this is a full year of continuity for the offense. One more year with a confident Matt Nichols, a good running game, a healthy Darvin Adams, and a full season out of Clarence Denmark, and of course a good OL that will allow time for good things to happen.

Not only is our OLine good, we have the depth to sustain injury. Looking at the depth chart for the Riders today. They're one or two injuries away from disaster.

I think we're heading into the season in great shape. I can't remember a time when I was so confident in our 1) QB situation 2) NI talent 3) OL it's no secret the best teams year in and year out are the teams that prioritize these three things.

Think Dressler, and Westerman are noticeable missing on the list, and lol at Sorenson being ranked ahead of Bond! But besides that not too bad.

And Hamilton is still trying to recover in his absence! I knew that. So many mediocre teams in the east they just all blend together after awhile

I actually don't think Hamilton will be that good. Yes Collaros is a good QB but he's extremely injury prone. They also lost Chris Williams who by far was the most explosive part of their offense. I see another log jam in the eastern conference. If Durant stays healthy they'll be able to compete game in and game out, Toronto will be better under Trestman even if I'm not sold on an old Ricky Ray, and Ottawa will still be competitive.
