Not forgetting anything, I just don't feel the need to dredge up political decisions from 30 years ago by a party that no longer exists as it holds pretty much no value to do so. However, since I stated that the Liberals are the most corrupt government of the last 100 years I suppose some comparisons are apt. The current Liberals are by far more corrupt than any government of the past 100 years and it isn't even close. I stand by my original statement. Were there other governments that had corruption....absolutely...I think you'd be hard pressed to find one that didn't. Nothing like this though....this is a new level of disrespect of the public trust.

Canada and Manitoba are just a plug your nose scenario for government right now. There isn't a single good choice to be had. The Manitoba NDP are just atrocious and no sane person would vote for them, the Cons are being led by a megalomaniac, not even going to mention the Libs as a viable alternative. Federally, the Liberals might be the most corrupt government in the past 100 years with a leader that is just a puppet, the NDP are leaning so far to the left that they might instill communism, and the Cons have no concept of anything East or West of the Alberta border. Just a hold your nose and vote scenario all the way around. As bad as US political choice was in their last election ours is just as bad....maybe worse.

IMO, you want guys who can get open in a phone booth, are surehanded, and have YAC ability in the slots. Drew Wolitarsky is a great field side option for us and performance at that position should not be measured by yards or number of receptions. He is very good at keeping defences honest in his role as FS WR.
-
Yes that's true but it really only works in high tempo offence that is in man coverage and really can only be done sporadically because the field side, mismatch or not, is a tough throw. oops...just noticed you said boundary....yea....every team lines up its star receivers in the boundary primarily.
-
So move who exactly to field side wide receiver? Who does DW beat out? Mitchell, Lawler, or Demski? There are only so many positions on the field and someone must play the field side.
-
WHL players make zero. CPL has a salary cap of 750k. Much easier to come up with enuff scratch through non attendance revenue streams to pay those bills than 5.2 - 5.8 million in SMS like the CFL.

If someone yells at OB does it make a sound? We'll never know because you are the only one there. Now you have come here because, I am guessing, you tired of responding to your own posts? Good start...trolling should get a couple of reactions before everyone just tunes you out and stops responding altogether....just like OB. He was tired of having the same conversation with himself over and over again.

As they should be Liegghio is a blue chip K prospect. Would be nice to have Medlock back but the Bombers prepared well for him to ride off into the sunset.
-
This sounds like something that came out of the mouth of Chris Jones. Perhaps one of his disciples JOD or John Murphy who by no coincidence have OLs that are in shambles.
-
I agree. It appears he is very adept at running through a phone booth of defenders, makes excellent cuts and reads the blocks very well. Another guy like that....Andrew Harris. Flat out speed helps in the open field and to get the edge but elusiveness is the X factor imo.
-
Weird cause i saw him get caught from behind on a few occasions. His combine lists him at a 4.5/40 which is quick but not exceptionally fast.
-
Henderson looks like he sees the field really well and knows how to follow his blockers with patience. He doesn't have the top end speed to get the corner in the CFL but he has an impressive burst. A very smart runner. If he can catch he might hang around and give Nelson a run for his money. Always like to have lots of KR/PR options because in the CFL they can make life so much easier on the offence.

Pedersen confirms Bombers are the CFL's Flagship Franchise

Yea...but at the end of the day they still treated him pretty poorly in the whole scenario. -
Pedersen confirms Bombers are the CFL's Flagship Franchise
GCn20 replied to Dr Zaius's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
If anyone knows the ugly side of the Riders operations it's Pederson. Everyone knows that the flagship franchise title really comes down to two teams...us and the Riders. The RIders had him turfed for questioning the team's upper management and they have regularly revoked press privileges to members of the media that don't regurgitate the message that is approved by the club. In recent years, despite paying very well, they have been losing a ton of players to FA due to the fact they have jerked players around come contract time. Some of that was Chris Jones but we've seen departures for the same reasons since JOD took over. Constantly low balling players while bad mouthing their Rider pride does not play out well in the locker room. Pederson knows this and sees what we are doing over here and that, imo, is why he speaks the truth that we are the flagship franchise in the CFL right now. -
So pretty much anyone that's played with Hamilton for their entire career.

If you are wondering if Bryant Mitchell will be a starter on our team than clearly you have forgotten how good a receiver he is. This guy is a stud possession receiver that can also stretch the field. The only way Bailey beats him out is if Mitchell comes in with a NFL hangover attitude, has forgotten how to play, or has lost a step from the Achilles injury. If he is healthy and in the right mind frame he is easily our best receiver now. I don't think it's weird. Rempel is pushing 40, the Bombers have a chance to solidify the LS position for the next 7 years and decide to go that route.

I don't need to prove you wrong. Everyone here already knows you are wrong solely based on the ludicrous content of your post. It's like saying prove the sky is blue.....I could....but what's the point.

LMAO..In what world is Edem the best Safety? The guy is a pylon....a liability if anything. Can't cover...can't tackle. You have been watching him play through the thickest green goggles I've ever seen. Fred Bishop...serviceable journeyman better suited to platoon duty. Capable...sure....mediocre most definitely. AC Leonard the same guy...different name. Micah....very good player, and then Henry/Dabire platoon level mediocre talent. I can't think of a single team with a worse DL, Lber corps than you guys right now and your OL is about the same. Front 7 D and OL wins championships and you guys are lagging behind the entire West division on both fronts.
-
So the plan is to have an extremely mediocre DL and then Bouka and Edem both as starters in the secondary or one the Herdmans as WIL? You guys are going to bleed points if thats the case. No offense but a DL of Bishop/Henry/Micah/Leonard is not exactly awe inspiring. Neither is a LBer that only has one name in it right now and could quite possibly involve a Herdman. I don't suspect the Riders will go with that.....I seriously think you guys are not done yet....if you are YIKES.
-
Riders better than they were yesterday but still way behind where they were in 2019. They lost 2 NAT starters and haven't replaced them yet.
-
I wonder if their wives (sisters) join in or just join in at the end for the vinegar strokes.
-
Yea...he costed his team huge in the first half. Between the penalties and the 20 yard punts the game was over by half time.
-
Some hits and misses there for sure. I remember that day well. I just wish that Harris would have been a "never saw it coming" type signing. It was pretty anti-climactic. Exciting....but not the Christmas morning eye-popper type that makes FA day so exciting.
-
Petermann is a loss...but the rest are very replaceable....even Medlock.
-
I expect Ryan RIgmaiden will unearth some talent for them....just enough to edge out Regina. I have zero faith in the Rider scouting bringing in much.
