As pointed out by a Bomber fan in attendance at TDA on Reddit....both teams came out of the same end zone tunnel. The Argos could not take the field without coming through the Riders side of half. It's literally the dumbest excuse in the world.

It's kind of funny to watch how Fajardo can jumo up and down after a completion, but limps so bad his leg is dragging behind him like Igor after and incompletion or interception. I didn't notice this until I rewatched the game and I was just embarrassed for him after doing so.

Probably pretty unfair to expect Dobson to be a dominant lineman in game 6 of his career. Fair point of Gray though, however, he isn't that bad either....he's just not Desjarlais. It's a different position to play that requires a different skill set than OG. Gray has the footwork to be an OT, and OT could potentially be a better fit for him than OG. It is not true that an OG cannot be an OT if they are out of position at OG to start with.

He did not apologize for trying to take out Boyds knees a few plays earlier, barely alluded to the hit that injured Masoli, made most of his apology about a "misunderstanding" of his racist comments, and made no apology for the grotesque victory lap he did knowing full well he ended a man's season and had just been ejected for it. This apology is almost condescending. How anyone could think this is a proper apology is beyond me. The Riders organization should have at least made sure their pre-written apology that they wrote for Marino contained an apology for each suspension. All he seems sorry for was the racist comments.

The thing is that every single player in this league knows it too, and are going to provoke the crap out of him. Does anyone believe he will grit his teeth and take it. I don't.

The silver lining in all of this, is it just makes me appreciate the Bombers so much more. Thank you for that Marino, Dickenson et al.....and I must admit I am more than a little reveling in the tire fire this is.

If he had done this a couple days ago he certainly could have prevented a lot of unfortunate comments by a lot of people in the Rider organization. Well, at least they have publically acknowledged that they are a douchebag of an organization. That is the first step on the road to recovery. Now they need to attend the meetings. If they attend one tonight I believe it Chris Jones turn to bring the coffee and donuts.

No deflection necessary. The Libs are increasingly slipping in the polls....and you better believe that politicians are keenly aware of how they are polling. It's laughable to suggest otherwise. Polls matter. Sure it's mid-term but the Libs cannot let the Cons get a lead that they can't come back from.

I can understand O'Daisy not coming forward initially and letting Dickie run with the ball on this one. However, after the public comments made by Dickie I cannot understand why O'Day wouldn't save him from himself. Just a rudderless leadership group all around.

I doubt it, as it fall outside their ability to do anything about since the Redblacks apparently did not take the bait, but it surely shows how loose of a cannon this guy is. Doubt the league could use it, but I am sure it is something that they were aware of when passing judgement on this guy.

Yep. They are usually the first in line for the position. lol I honestly don't believe they will be. They will look into the contents of the investigation to make sure it was done fairly, and once they find that it was this will be over from their perspective I would think, Other than to advise Marino on their findings, and give him advice on damage control probably. Forgotten amongst the gross on-field displays, and reaction afterwards, is the fact that Marino tried to initiate a public altercation with members of the Redblacks at The Keg, the day before. Dickenson says heat of the moment, picking fights before the game says otherwise.

One only has to go back to the thread at Riderfans after Collaros got taken out by Lawrence to see just how astoundingly hyprocritical some of them are being right now.

The union has the obligation to represent their membership, they do not have the obligation to defend them. In a case like Marino's if they opt to not appeal based on what they know of the situation, they are free to not do so. When our poorest conduct adversely affects the lives and livelihoods of others, you damn right we should be judged on that. Just a ridiculous take by Dickenson. In fairness the rest of his quote goes on to say that he should not be judged forever by one action. True...however, Dickenson has completely failed to pass judgement in any way at a time it would be extremely appropriate to do so. So...yea...bad take overall Dickie. He's not asking for a chance at redemption...he's asking for current absolution...and doesn't understand at all how completely revolting his ask is.
