If Riderfans want to be mad at someone they should be mad at Jones for leaving them high and dry, or Reynolds for negotiating such a stupid contract that allowed this to happen.....that doesn't fit the narrative of the moderation over there though. They've been selling Jones and Reynolds as the Riders saviors for so long now that this puts them in quite the bind. But like any experienced fan forum member they will instead create the Bomber bogeyman to distract the membership at large from realizing how grossly incorrect the Jonestown fan club really were.

Saying Lapo is very upset creates far more clicks than saying he was mildly disappointed. I don't believe that Farjan had any conversation with Lapo while he was in Kansas yesterday, and I believe whoever fed him this info, he took it and blew it up for reasons of readership.

January 20 is way too late in the game for teams to be replacing coordinators without weakening themselves greatly. Not sure why the Rider fans feel the Bombers are obligated to let Lapo possibly go at this stage of the game. Just because Craig Reynolds was too stupid to put a drop dead date on Jones leaving doesn't mean we have to be equally as dumb.

Toronto may be a joke attendance wise but the GTA provides very solid CFL viewership numbers to TSN and is a big reason the rest of the CFL has the TV deal it does. Don't be fooled by attendance. People like the Argos and watch them in Toronto, you just won't get them to go to a game because their game day experience has been complete garbage for a long time.

There is absolutely zero truth to the rumor that Bighill was at the Canucks game with Wally and Hervey. That would be tampering. Hervey and Wally are not idiots, they would not sit front row of a broadcasted Canucks game with a player that is under contract to another team. I can't believe any of you fell for what is quite obviously a troll job.

Not a fan of Nik Lewis's personality, but I sure loved watching a pot bellied receiver still balling out there. Reminds me of me, and my friends, playing oldtimer beer league hockey when every once in a while us old pot bellied pork rind eaters would use our smarts and beat down some young bucks. Same argument they've been making all year about Collaros. "If he ever catches the lightning in the bottle that has shown up 3 times in the last 3 years he is unstoppable". It's a ridiculously stupid argument to make. They are suggesting that because he played on good game against a disinterested Calgary team a month ago that he is suddenly a good QB. The guy was the worst starter in the CFL this year.... We didn't win because Collaros wasn't playing, we won because our OL and Andrew Harris rammed it up their poop shoots the entire 2nd half. Whether it be Bridge or Collaros you have to have the ball to win. Our offence ran the table in the 2nd half and gave almost no opportunity to their offence.

Been there twice. Feels like you're sitting a million miles away in the stands compared to IGF. Just saps the energy imo. Concessions are much better at Mosaic, but IGF is a MUCH better venue to watch a football game. Only problem with Mosaic is they don't have any good beer and you feel like you're watching through binos from the parking lot. Seats are very narrow too. They also have similar rapid transit problems to IGF.

Don't even bother looking at them. What those stats don't tell is how many times there was a 6 point difference between 1st and 4th. The overwhelming majority of these statistics were compiled when the third place team was sub.500 and there were juggernauts like the Eskimos, Bombers,and Alouettes over the past 40 years. The playing field is wide open over the past few years in comparison since the SMS came in.
