Yea....we know damn well that Hardrick was playing on half a leg last season, Neufeld as well. Also, last year just like last year we would have been ripe for the plucking off the PR if we didn't protect guys. Not sure how you come to that conclusion? Biggie was one roster transaction, Woods another. If they wanted to dress Woods and Biggie they could have done so.

Having a 7th OL is an almost guarantee that someone else on the OL roster was a coin flip health wise.

I think we are looking good on offence for a while. Yea get some OL but particularly DL in the draft and refresh the LBs. It's not really a big rebuild needed. We are good at receiver, RB, and if Strev shows improvement at QB. We are pretty good at OL, just need a stud OT for Bryant when he goes. Secondary is refreshed with the exception of Alexander who plays a pretty easy position to replace. LBs will need a reboot and possibly depending on Garbutt etc DE.

Fair enough. It's bound to happen I suppose. Part of me hopes we finish 2nd in the West so that management knows we are not infallible despite still playing like warriors and squeaking out another Grey Cup win.

They aren't ending, although they almost convinced just by sheer volume of posts. We laid an egg to open the season but I would be shocked if we are not in the mix for another division title. Just a real sloppy effort last week stemming from some poor training camp decisions.

They do need to build a culture there though, so he can be helpful in that regard.

Seems like a pretty unproven group of receivers. Maybe they are good? Maybe they are crap? I am not sure how anyone could come to any kind of opinion on them right now because no one knows who the hell they are really. ONE receiver out of this group exceeded 700 yards last year...barely.

Most teams don't have any NATs capable of starting in the secondary. If they do they will almost always be playing field corner, or safety. That's just the facts. The field corner is the hardest/longest throw to make for a QB and most often is where teams lineup there 5th receiver. There is more time to react for the DBs. The hashmarks moving in made it marginally tougher for DBs but it still allows the most margin for error for any of the DB positions.

I agree, I just don't see him throwing a ton of balls though. We have Zac for that. Not worried about BO finding holes whatsoever. That is literally the one thing that OL can do easily without a lick of practice together. Pass pro, that's a different story. BO will go off for over 100.

If Streveler isn't in as a gadget guy do we really want him on the field much? If he's playing, it's because we are running a series of plays intended to give the D a change of pace. I do hope we allow him opportunities to throw as well, but let's make no mistake the Bombers will put Strev out there with Brady to run a very run heavy play package. Zach will be just fine in his playmaking ability. Saying he struggled last year is overstating things. He had his best statistical year as a Bomber last year. Ford is playing the easiest position there is in the secondary. He will be fine. I'm not anticipating that Gauthier takes the majority of reps...very doubtful on that.
