  1. Would be a massive mistake on their part, but I really see no path for them offensively unless Stanback can roll back the clock.
  2. Does it every year. Love it.
  3. We were dropping Wilson and Clements into coverage a ton. We gave him no clear passing lanes. Masterful job.
  4. Yea..I mean we lose Biggie and his leadership and experience, but Malik is certainly as physically capable as Biggie against the pass. Hopefully he can handle the run as well. Pretty sure Biggie will be at Malik's hotel room a lot this week going over tape with him.
  5. Dominant D every year in the playoffs with tons of looks we don't see all year. It's why I don't even sweat what our D looks like in the regular season..lol. Holm needs to work on his laterals for sure.
  6. Hall dialed up another playoff beauty. Man that guy has cards up his sleeve every year. Such an under rated DC. Just staying inbounds to kill clock.
  7. As I have been telling you for weeks, this wasn't a case of Montreal overcoming overwhelming odds, this was a case of a really good team thinking they could stall their momentum and still win. In this league that's a recipe for getting beat and that's what happened. Kelly showed some mental fragility yesterday. He might be the next Cody Faj. Yep. They had one chance at a measuring stick game and decided to run from it.
  8. Yea..one of our more pleasant surprises this year. He developed really well.
  9. I think he's done for the season.
  10. I think a shout out to Malik Clements is deserved. Had a very tough assignment jumping in for Biggie yesterday on a big stage and played great.
  11. Not imo. The Argos had a great record but really were ripe for this. I, and others on this site, saw this as a strong possibility and it wasn't just based on wishful thinking. The Argos had by far the softest schedule this year, hadn't played meaningful football in 2 months and chose to protect their QB from facing any adversity after LD...a 1st year starter no less. My question to Bluto was how could Dinwiddie prepare his 1st year starter less for the huge jump in play that happens come playoffs. Answer...he couldn't.. it was truly awful how RD handled the back half and made this result not only possible but probable. COTY? My ass.
  12. As unprepared as Chad MOP?
  13. As predicted Hall dials up a masterful game plan and our "over the hill" players suddenly look like MOPs. Coincidence? Nah..we've seen this movie every year this decade.
  14. Complete lack of class by Kelly running straight to the dressing room at the end of the game. On the field and off his lack of character showed up. This is why Dinwiddie coddled him all season.
  15. Well we know who the football gods are cheering for.
  16. Cody Faj, Sankey, and Maas to the Grey Cup. The pain has to be real for Rider fans.
  17. The Al's are in Kelly's head
  18. For the past half a year I've been telling Bluto that his team is not one that handles adversity well. Games not over but so far it looks like I was right.

  20. The Argos sheltered Kelly from ever having to play against a good amped up D. Now they are seeing him have trouble with one. No surprise to me.
  21. There is a big difference between football knowledge and insider knowledge. In order to attain that level of inside information a person would have to be very plugged in with either Steinhauer or Walters.
  22. I agree with everyone's assessment that although we are dressing 7 DL, it may not be the best 7 DL usage.
  23. Yea....I think we could probably park someone else and dress Haba or Garbutt. Just saying that 7 DL is not a lack of depth. Our choices of who those 7 are leaves some to be desired. Agreed that who we are dressing is far more problematic than how many we are dressing.
