The Argos sheltered Kelly from ever having to play against a good amped up D. Now they are seeing him have trouble with one. No surprise to me.

There is a big difference between football knowledge and insider knowledge. In order to attain that level of inside information a person would have to be very plugged in with either Steinhauer or Walters.

I agree with everyone's assessment that although we are dressing 7 DL, it may not be the best 7 DL usage.

Yea....I think we could probably park someone else and dress Haba or Garbutt. Just saying that 7 DL is not a lack of depth. Our choices of who those 7 are leaves some to be desired. Agreed that who we are dressing is far more problematic than how many we are dressing.

If he chose the hospitality industry in hopes of making a quality of life decision than he chose the wrong industry. Nothing but 100 hour weeks in that industry for owners.

I agree with you on secondary depth, but 7 DL is not that thin. I disagree that we are lacking depth on the DL. An argument can be made we are not dressing the right depth but 7 DL is not a lack of bodies. In defence of McCrae he went off against BC already once this year. I agree with Rose being out, should have dressed him. Roster doesn't concern me much over all. We will win or lose based on what our top guys do.

Edwards needs to be given the Marino treatment. Time for this guy to be shown the door out of the CFL.

Color me unsurprised. Hodge has been downright loony this year in his CFL takes. I have to wonder if he even watches the games sometimes.

Just nonsensical. Lots of love for BC's secondary that was pretty average for the last 2/3 of the season too. Leading the league in passing yards against should have got us the obvious edge for that, an OL that surrendered the 2nd least sacks and BY FAR the best running game and they choose our weakest OL all by himself? Just a terrible, terrible take. I could have thrown darts at a players list and come up with better than that.

The list is even worse than the official CFL all star team. It's beyond awful. Just completely out to lunch most of that list. How Revenburg, Broxton and Matte made that list after how bad their respective OL's were is complete nonsense.

Nothing I have heard out of the mouth of Steinauer this offseason even hints at the possibility he is thinking about leaving. He has made a ton of comments about "next year" and "moving forward" already. If caretaker Bob were going to can him he would have probably done so already. None of that guarantees that Walters is staying with us, but if he leaves it won't be to Hamilton imo.

Don't see it happening. Where would Steinhauer go to get a better gig than what he has right now. Not buying it.

My bold predictions for the Western final: 1. Janarion Grant shows up. 2 return TDs 2. BO goes over a 100 yards mostly in the 4th as we grind down the clock 3. Zac is average but efficient 4. VA throws for 400 yards but BCs offence stalls out in the red zone getting only FGs 5. The Jeffs show up and dominate BCs crap OL 6. Deatrich Nichols gets a ball thrown his way and promptly intercepts it. VA does not throw his way again. 7. Betts goes offside multiple times. 8. Time count violations kill promising BC drives and IGF gets louder and louder. 9. This game is effectively over by half time. 10. Final score WPG 41-BC 18

Walters is not going to Steeltown unless they fire Steinhauer. That's true. However, having no vehicle, and no garbage pickup kind of makes that unavoidable. Like most areas of abject poverty garbage piles up due to lack of resources for getting rid of it.

As someone who is heavily reliant on weather forecasts because I am a fair weather fisherman and travel distance to do so at least once a week in the summer..lol...I never use EC to plan my week. Accuweather I find to be the most reliable outside of 3 days and then Environment Canada becomes the most accurate about 2 days out in my experience.

No kidding. Easily the best DB in this league...just never gets the ball thrown his way because QBs avoid him like the plague because they can't complete a ball against him. How Nichols is not an allstar is just a joke.
