Never said it was bullying. The bullying is when people are called stupid, or lesser than for their beliefs. I have no issue either with people openly being in favor or against abortion in a respectful manner that doesn't interfere with anyone elses morality on the issue. I do not believe anti-abortion should be demonstrating, looking to over turn abortion rights etc. I will concede that there are those who are anti pro-choice that deserve the scorn and criticism they receive.

I would hate to see how bad their awful passing game would be without Bane. He is a good receiver. However, as you alluded to...he has to maintain it. -

Yea...for sure. Doesn't hurt he is getting targeted 10 times a game though. -
The wind blows hard in the vortex. I'm out.

I am fully aware and it does not change my opinion. I do not want my child exposed to these discussions in grade 2. It is too young imo.

I have no issues with abortion whatsoever, and am against anyone who would actively try to overturn it. I am against someone being told they don't have the right to that opinion though. I have issues with grade 2 students being taught any sexuality related content. It's not the content, it's the age. At a higher grade level I am fully in favor of it. Nah, I'm done...hopefully. The election is honestly not top of mind for me in the coming months. I want the PCs to lose this one. I am not happy with their governing thus far.

At any rate, I will leave you guys with the last word on this. Even though, this discussion is actually a good one I believe with open and honest conversation taking place, I promised myself I would not get sucked back into political debate on any online forums. Cheers to you all. I will take my leave.

Great...so if someone who pushes pro-abortion on someone who is not comfortable with it is an ******* too right? If not, that's quite the double standard. Secondly nobody said opposition to gender diversity. What was stated was many parents, actually 41% of the population of Canada, according to a recent poll is against teaching this to elementary grade students with no option for parents to opt their child out. Should they not be allowed to express their concerns without the Prime Minister of Canada telling them they are being brainwashed by the far right? Many believe this is far too young to initiate teachings about human sexuality. I am one of them and I don't think that makes me intolerant to LGBTQ in any way.

Take it seriously. However, and I agree that misrepresentation deserves response, the manner of response is important to any discussion. Divisiveness builds when someone feels their opinion gives them the right to belittle another. If someone doesn't believe in abortion, or schools teaching gender diversity...that does not make them a bad person.

Absolutely disagree. When people are attacked for their opinion, morality, personal beliefs without civility or decorum then the attacker is every bit as much to blame for the problem as the person expressing a possibly misinformed opinion. It's complete garbage, and a crutch used by those who wish to bully others into their groupthink. There is never any need for name calling, intimidation, or insults is proper discussions. NEVER. I mean honestly how can anyone think that this is acceptable decorum in conversation?

I like the rule, actually, because it keeps our good receivers on the field more.

You get what I'm saying. That is all I will say because I am not getting sucked back into the vortex.

Where can I find this show?

The NFL rule might have been in place already at that time but I am pretty sure the CFL didn't adopt their version of that rule until a couple seasons later.

I was not thrilled with the Ottawa loss for sure. However, the reasons for that loss are not the same reasons the Riders are struggling. We can be dominant, absolutely dominant, at the drop of a hat when we prepare properly, play like we can, and maintain focus. Fajardo is not a world beater. Is he good enough to put up 20-25 points against your defence. Absolutely. I can't see your offence getting into double digits against the Montreal defence. That will be the difference this game for the Riders....every game probably for the RIders. Not saying you can't win...but you are going to need breaks, big ST plays, maybe a team looking past you to do so. Your team is really not built or coached to win. You are a pretty level headed guy, I think you know this. You guys have some really good players at some positions, but at some positions you guys have players that really are not good enough for this league, and other teams just tee off on that. It becomes an especially critical situation when these guys are playing in the trenches. -

Thank you. -
The trenches gas out faster because the guys in them are big men carrying extra pounds. Fielding punts is a different skill than fielding kickoffs but it's more of a mental thing because we don't have fair catch. You gotta field it and get your eyes upfield ASAP or you will be road kill. Some guys struggle with that. Also punts are generally coming down more vertically because of hang time. That makes it more challenging as well. The depth chart I was expecting. Hopefully, Grant is ready to go soon.

There is always the chance that Montreal just poops the bed and plays a really bad game as well, but if Montreal is playing as it has been and the Riders play as they have been this game should be a pretty easy Montreal victory. For sure. I was really surprised when they signed Walker in the first place. He looked done last year. Definitely is a no-brainer to keep their young guys. -

This is too funny. Just this week at Riderfans some were very excited about his return as it looked to them like he had regained his all-star form. -
You are wasting your breath. These guys are not here to discuss, they are here to bully. Take a leave...the political threads on this forum are a waste of time.

CoFaj is getting protection like he could only dream about in Saskatchewan. That doesn't make him a good QB, but he is better than a basically rookie QB behind a swiss cheese OL. I give the O advantage to Montreal, I give the D advantage to Montreal, I give the homefield advantage to Montreal. Your team is going to have to play over it's head to win. I know the Ottawa win has a lot of Rider fans feeling optimistic....they shouldn't. They are not a very good ball club. -

Lalji will push her aside to make sure ANYTHING Lion related is coming from him. We had a storm-a-brewin before that. That team was ferocious from the first snap of the WSF. -
Are you asking about replay games or live?

Yea...after a good start he has been mostly underwhelming the past few weeks. I think Toronto will take a few losses in the 2nd half. -

Hard to say I guess. They obviously didn't like his play in pre-season and I don't know what other kind of recruits we have on the neg list? I would assume they saw something in his abilities that development just wouldn't be able to fix.
