  1. One thing about Richie Hall is that he is an exceptional cold weather coordinator. Part of that is offences simply can't do what they want that time of year. You gotta go back to fundamental football and that's when film study loses some of its importance and a good D game plan that focuses on what offences will have available to them becomes the trump card. No one knows that better than Hall.
  2. He really wasn't that good of a QB imo.
  3. Yes, from the moment the CFL put it on the schedule the outcome was never in doubt. Yea..Toronto is a deep, well coached team that is riding high. Not sure why everyone expected them to roll over and play dead. They are a system team and it allows them to stay competitive no matter who they field. We beat them and we deserved the win.
  4. We won. It's nearly October and we were playing a really good team. We dominated nearly every metric of the game.
  5. Your opinion. Period.
  6. Kelly is a byproduct of a good set of players/coaches around him. The outcome would have been the same.
  7. Great win. Toronto is a tough team.
  8. Yep. Gotta be better in 2nd half. It's one half of football. Penalties extending drives and turnover handing them points and costing us. We are dominating them. Just need to clean some **** up.
  9. Turnover creates a 6 or 10 point swing. We need to do that in the 2nd half.

  11. Our D is fine.
  12. ?? Our D is near or at the top of the league in just about every category. Yep..Janarion can't come back soon enough
  13. I like Kap and he got screwed....but he cashed in on it too. He was a martyr but he sold out.
  14. Toronto has no excuses. They are trying their best to create some...but nope....a loss will be a loss. If they lose tonight, it just shows weakness..in this case depth. Could be....they do kinda look like Huey, Dewey, and Louis when they face the press.
  15. Totally agree. Motivation does not seem to be there as much as in past years. It is something they can get back in a hurry if the leaders in that room start now. Whatever our roster issues might be, I think if our current roster concentrates, focuses, and mentally/physically commits to winning every game there is no team that can hang with us.
  16. Exactly right. Seems they may not be as focused as they need to be as well. I have a hard time buying into the age is a factor thing when we can completely dominate at any given time. If our problem was age related we would be getting worse as the season progresses and that's not the case as the Banjo Bowl clearly illustrated. It could be that the players just aren't as hungry after years of success. That is something they need to gut check within themselves.
  17. The discussion here is not roster, it was about consistency. We've heard your views on the roster, and most of us agree on it. You are beating a dead horse with that. Also, consistency is our biggest issue, not roster. I am sure that your owners will be glad to cash them in lieu of attendance dollars but don't pretend that isn't sad for you, and sad for the CFL in general. Disgraceful really.
  18. How could anyone know that. the Toronto media doesn't care about the Argos enough to report such a thing. Only found out about it when O'Shea came here to a city that GAF about CFL football. That being said, Argos should have stayed with it....maybe you wouldn't need the league to put in the fix for you guys every year. You are saying we were inconsistent towards the end of last year? Because that's the discussion....not roster.
  19. Yep...most new OCs get the dead cat bounce simply because no one is sure what they are doing yet. Once the film piles up, that's when the rubber hit the road for them.
  20. That's what I'm talking about. Love George Jones....well love may be overstating it, it's still country after all...but if I am in a room being forced to listen to country than yea....George Jones, Waylon Jennings etc.
  21. I think Osh would fix them because that is his job, and he has clearly demonstrated an ability to do so. You guys sure have your **** tied in a knot about the capability of the league's best coach.
  22. Sure does....but that song is roughly 20 years old as well. Yea, I like Cody Jinks and a few others that are more in the southern rock/country kind of vein. Just the commercial country of the past 10 years or so that has turned me right off of mainstream country.
  23. Agreed. The Argos get no excuses if they lose either. If we lose in front of a packed IGF after a bye week, it will be on the coaching staff and KW to make some changes prior to the playoffs. We are nothing like the Riders, pull your head out of your backside. What a dumb comparison. We will have a home playoff game locked up by then, and a FAR superior team to them. Just because we will lose out on first place doesn't equate us to a sub .500 team who is getting into the playoffs by default and literally stands no chance of winning a playoff game. We have the talent to be the best team in this league, if we don't prove it in the next two weeks our season is not kaput, it just needs work. The Riders are crap, and can only aspire to be crap and are in the playoffs only because 3 teams are worse than they are. That being said, I don't expect that we will sleep through the next two games, and if we do, I do expect MOS and KW to do what is necessary to have us ready for the playoffs.
  24. There are quite a few foolish comments here suggesting that a loss or losses puts us on par with the Riders. Don't claim someone's opinion is dumb then make a dumber comment and claim it is hyperbole. Our season is not lost in the next two games no matter what the outcome is. Two losses makes our road to the Grey Cup more challenging, and means our team needs some work before the playoffs. Nothing more.
  25. No we really won't be. It will definitely mean stuff needs to be fixed down the stretch though. I agree. We should definitely be win at all costs right now and first place is a big advantage. However, should we lose...unless we lose because a bunch of our marquee starters get injured....it is not the end of the world.
