I agree....but I don't really care one way or another. The Lions is the game we need to win. The Argos would be nice as well but at the end of the day they are a non-divisional game. That being said I hate them because of the blatant favoritism they get from the league and look forward to the Bombers cramming it down their pie-hole on Friday. I really don't think there will be much chance of any other outcome and I am surprised by the amount of people fearing them with their backup right now....even with Kelly I don't see them beating us in a sold out IGF.

There are only 2-3 games in a season where it is god forbid we lose and they are over a month away. Losses right now make zero difference. Every team builds all season long to do one thing and one thing only, win in the playoffs. If we lose this Friday it just tells us what we need to do to be ready for when the games truly matter. I suspect we, as we have been the past several years, are a different team in the playoffs than we are in the regular season, If we lose Friday, I expect that won't sit well with KW or MOS and the tweaking necessary to be champs will be ramped up. So many things are in our favor come playoff time, and some very strong roster additions that are actual difference makers yet to occur. We are built for the playoffs, and despite all the grousing about Haba, the addition of Janarion Grant is the one that will be a massive difference maker to our club. Every other roster move pales in comparison to that.

Fair enough. Just saying their rostering hasn't been any kind of silver bullet for them. They are also near the bottom of the league in QB sacks and pressures despite their rostering and abundance of talent. That kind of surprised me. Wins and losses....exactly. By your own standards then, as a first place 10-4 team, maybe we shouldn't be beating dead horses so much. So much angst on this forum, the forum of a 1st place team. We are all getting a little too spoiled by the past few years I think...lol.

They need it. Primadonnas....all of them. No wonder Harris's suspect work ethic of recent years is a seamless fit there.

They suck. Sub .500 and their defence is the 3rd worst in the league. They have played the Argos 4 times for sure but one could argue that is big reason why the Argos may be over rated. Yea....Hammy beat us...barely....in a game we were determined to lose. We didn't even try protect the rock. I chalk that one up to us beating ourselves really. I get you would love to see a bigger DL rotation but the mental gymnastics of trying to suggest that the 3rd place team in the East....THE EAST....is a team we should envy is just overstating your argument to the nth degree, Hey Hamilton is trying hard out there....but their O sucks and their defence is not helping them much.

It's not country. It's pop singers in cowboy boots. Country music used to have a place. Hurting tunes while drinking whiskey straight because something bad happened. That was it's niche. Then they tried to make it happy party music....and it sucks.

I quite frankly blame the Argos for not wanting to destroy their team confidence by dressing their whole lineup and then getting shellacked on Friday in Winnipeg. Could set them into a tailspin. It happens after a bad beatdown. They "rest" a bunch of guys and give themselves the mental out for the loss they were inevitably going to sustain.

Bad example. Look at the Cats win/loss record. I do not dare to dream anything Ticat related right now. That being said they do have an impressive lineup of DL....that is doing diddly squat for them.

I can't think of a fan in bigger denial than this. Your franchise QB is a headcase of epic proportion all on his own. Only a matter of time before he does something truly dumb. Not to mention guys like Edwards etc. Just ass clowns really.

Sure...Urban was ok if you like country...but last year was AWFUL. The 3rd Q interview was scary bad tho. Asking a guy who clearly had never watched a pro football game before to take over play by play.....jeez louise.

Last year we dressed 6 guys in the Grey Cup and 7 DL in the WF. I get that Adams was not very good, but Wilcotts is where exactly now? Hansen injury all season has made us run lean, but he's back now...and that's a big add.

Keep thinking that. The playoffs are a funny beast. I know you haven't seen enough games with your team as the favorite, but cold weather and players of suspect character do not mesh well.....and yeah...I said it...I think you guys have a locker room with a lot of me-first guys.

We traded Wilcots but picked up a DL from Saskatchewan. My evidence is the historical depth charts. I went back through all of them for the past 4 seasons. In 2019 and 2021 we dressed 8 DL through the playoffs and final few games, in 2022 we dressed primarily 7 through the final few weeks.

Not an apt comparison as they are not division rivals. EDIT: Glad you find that funny Bluto....but that is absolutely how sports works.

Not to mention 3 byes in the first 10 games. We will find out who the Argos really are when they play us....and they knew that....and are not going to let us shellack their starters without a built in excuse. What surprises me the most is that the entirety of the Argo fan base came here to post.

History tells us that MOS will make changes and roster tweaks. Depth charts from the past 4 years suggest that he changes up his roster composition down the stretch. Likes to get bigger bodies onto the roster.

That is MOS's MO over the past several seasons. He goes lean on the DL until the final third of the season and then ramps up the numbers down the stretch.

Yep, and being in the East they get the full slate against Hamilton, Ottawa, and Montreal every year. Just a joke of a schedule really in comparison to any of the Western teams.

The Argos biggest problem is that they are in Toronto. Just a wannabe NFL town.

Argos have had the softest schedule in the CFL this year....BY FAR...resting guys...lmao. Sorry, but until you have played the Bombers you have not faced the CFL's measuring stick. 12-1...beating up on the Ottawa's and Hamilton's of the CFL. If the Argos were in the West they are behind the Bombers and Lions in the standings.
