cost of a slice of pizza, one dollar. cost of twenty five years in jail, two million five hundred thousand dollars. There is a thing in the US called the Prison Industrial complex. There is a judge who took bribes from prison operators, to sentence people to jail. https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2011/08/11/139536686/pa-judge-sentenced-to-28-years-in-massive-juvenile-justice-bribery-scandall. The USA has twenty five percent of the population of incarcerated people, in the entire world. with five percent of the population. do some research on it. might change your opinion.

welcome, and here's another.... "Category 6 " blog, the one I think is the most comprehensive and accesible. Casino in Tulsa, a main employer, is under water. https://www.wunderground.com/cat6/Historic-flooding-Arkansas-River-Oklahoma-and-Arkansas?cm_ven=cat6-widget And the area North of this flooding, just went through a similar event... Nebraska, Missouri, S,Dakota. much destruction there just in the last few months. record snow, followed by sudden warming.

Sure looks like the scouts are answering the "can't find a receiver" issue.

Still waiting for you to give us your proof of the following statement you made: Where's you're support for this statement? Shouldn't be hard, if it exists. I won't stop asking. You are a consistent spreader of rumours.

this could also go in the "good news" thread. Boris Johnson is one of the candidates for PM of Britain. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/boris-johnson-trial-brexit-court-lying-prosecution-nhs-vote-leave-a8934451.html?utm_source=reddit.com

I've been getting a lot of laughs from the bomber forum last few weeks.... lots of humour. And, since I read the US political thread daily, any back and forth stuff here is child's play.

How would you like to be an American agent in Russia right now? Putin probably instructed Trump to get Putin these people's names. Talk about treachery. If you remember, it was the Republicans, Bush and Cheney, who exposed a high level CIA agent Valerie Plame, who worked on Iranian nuclear program intel. Those Republican liars did it to cover their own evil lies. Hard to follow this stuff it's so dismal and awful.

Spreading malicious falsehoods about "floods of illegal immigrant voters" as this guy just did, this is plain old fashioned malignant bigotry.

amazing in your face corruption. This will only get worse, when there's no appetite to stop it. Best article I have read about what is going on in the US right now, constitutional law professor, easy to understand. https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2019/05/trump-doesnt-care-about-constitution/589654/

I agree, and the O line coach for the Bombers gets some credit for this happening.

This is a good radio team, can listen if desperate for football. Sir Vicent Rogers edmonton, tore bicep, out for a while. "The Eskimos host the B.C. Lions on Sunday. The kick-off on The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium is at 2 p.m., 630 CHED will have Countdown to Kick-off starting at 12:30 p.m." https://globalnews.ca/radio/630ched/player/#/

Republicans/Trump are now all out threatening the FBI, CIA. etc. Republicans are full steam ahead while playing a weak hand, with an unpopular leader. Using every nasty dirty questionably legal trick and inventing some new ones. Polite conventions, and fraternal rules, the system of government, basic honesty, none of those things mean anything to them. Democratic party thinks that Nancy Pelosi is smarter with words than Trump, and that's all they need to do. Nobody cares about her little war of words. She's winning that battle and losing the war. She/they are effrectively doing nothing, and hoping that some Judge somewhere will do their job for them. They are looking like a bunch of weaklings that run around yelling, and do nothing in the face of the assault. Usual weak crap from that bunch. Time to get off their ass and save their country. It's getting serious.

Correct. Most people, those that commented anyway, did not like multiple threads.

mueller questions trump answers: Funny, Trump didn't answer the first question. https://www.emptywheel.net/2019/05/24/trump-claims-he-was-joking-when-he-gave-russian-hackers-a-wish-list-to-hack-hillary-but-his-senior-aides-disagree/ d. On July 27, 2016, you stated at a press conference: “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing. I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.” i. Why did you make that request of Russia, as opposed to any other country, entity, or individual? ii. In advance of making that statement, what discussions, if any, did you have with anyone else about the substance of the statement? iii. Were you told at any time before or after you made that statement that Russia was attempting to infiltrate or hack computer systems or email accounts of Hillary Clinton or her campaign? If yes, describe who provided this information, when, and what you were told. Response to Question II, Part (d) I made the statement quoted in Question II (d) in jest and sarcastically, as was apparent to any objective observer. The context of the statement is evident in the full reading or viewing of the July 27, 2016 press conference, and I refer you to the publicly available transcript and video of that press conference. I do not recall having any discussion about the substance of the statement in advance of the press conference. I do not recall being told during the campaign of any efforts by Russia to infiltrate or hack the computer systems or email accounts of Hillary Clinton or her campaign prior to them becoming the subject of media repo11ing and I have no recollection of any particular conversation in that regard. Somebody should convert that to Trump speak. "I made the statment, a very good statement by the way, only the best statements, in jest. jest.... you can look that up, it's a tremendous word, I have the best words..... as was apparent to any objective observer, even Crazy Bernie would agree, I go back a long way with crazy Bernie, believe it or not, he was a big supporter of mine, very big, ....." etc

Of course there are. That head in the sand thinking is strongest where the Oil companies have the most influence and power. North America is a haven for it.

A new assessment of NASA's record of global temperatures revealed that the agency's estimate of Earth's long-term temperature rise in recent decades is accurate to within less than a tenth of a degree Fahrenheit, providing confidence that past and future research is correctly capturing rising surface temperatures. The most complete assessment ever of statistical uncertainty within the GISS Surface Temperature Analysis (GISTEMP) data product shows that the annual values are likely accurate to within 0.09 degrees Fahrenheit (0.05 degrees Celsius) in recent decades, and 0.27 degrees Fahrenheit (0.15 degrees C) at the beginning of the nearly 140-year record. This data record, maintained by NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) in New York City, is one of a handful kept by major science institutions around the world that track Earth's temperature and how it has risen in recent decades. This global temperature record has provided one of the most direct benchmarks of how our home planet's climate has changed as greenhouse gas concentrations rise. The study also confirms what researchers have been saying for some time now: that Earth's global temperature increase since 1880—about 2 degrees Fahrenheit, or a little more than 1 degree Celsius—cannot be explained by any uncertainty or error in the data. https://phys.org/news/2019-05-confidence-nasa-earth-temperature.html
