  1. https://activenorcal.com/camp-fire-becomes-the-most-destructive-fire-in-californias-history/?fbclid=IwAR0xeVEXGJZ0xqjWKqgnpfqI4JMDvyGD9qJ8bEs-NHCWYxlHhKwDxU9dVrs The numbers are still piling in, but as of right now, there are 6,453 homes and 260 commercial buildings burned to the ground. 23 fatalities have also been recorded, but even more are feared. In just over 36 hours, the Camp Fire surpassed the Tubbs Fire of 2017, which destroyed 5,636 structures. The fire remains 5 percent contained with 90,000 acres burned. 110 missing. now 200.
  2. Worked! Thanks a lot!
  3. thanks will try that, I really can't tolerate this ass.
  4. nobody discredited the results of NOAA, (except no doubt you somewhere or other) I discredited you, as usual saying something about the study that wasn't true, ie that the NOAA study was contrary to what you thought scientists had been saying. "that there would be more Atlantic hurricanes" Of course, since that was coming from you, that was wrong. that's not what the science was saying. Increased frequency of storms was an open question. Not hard to understand. It says it right in the bloody report. however, it's now been shown that hurricane intensity, as predicted, is increasing, as shown for instance by Michael, which was one of three category five hurricanes in history, to hit the US. but what me worry, only the entire city of Panama beach Florida reduced to rubble. you misrepresent everyhing.
  5. my ignore doesn't work, so I just skip his drivel.
  6. or worse, to encourage people who intentionally spread misinformation, with every single comment. That's what we have here, with this person. It'll never end, just stop responding to him. Unless you enjoy doing it. I don't.
  7. The whole core idea of it, is absurd. That tens of thousands of climate scientists, are lying, to get grants. It's comically ridiculous. I agree with Jcon, I'm not bothering to respond to any of his posts anymore.
  8. fires in california one city burned down, Malibu now evacuated. The entire Malibu area, including the city and nearby unincorporated areas, was placed under mandatory evacuation late Friday morning. The zone was vast, extending more than 10 miles along the coast and about 10 miles inland to the 101 Freeway. In all, some 75,000 homes in Ventura and Los Angeles counties were under mandatory evacuations on Friday morning, r
  9. Florida senate election is going to be interesting. Probably some others as well. "Aboard Air Force One late Friday morning, Trump said he would also mount a legal challenge. “As soon as Democrats sent their best Election stealing lawyer, Marc Elias, to Broward County they miraculously started finding Democrat votes,” the president tweeted. “Don’t worry, Florida – I am sending much better lawyers to expose the FRAUD!” One of his fundamental qualities, Trump sets the table for violence. If he wasn't President. he'd just be a figure of slapstick comedy. today "President Trump said multiple times today: “I don’t know Matt Whitaker.” But during a phone interview with “Fox & Friends” on Oct. 11, he said, “I can tell you Matt Whitaker’s a great guy. I mean, I know Matt Whitaker.”
  10. Game against BC, before he got hit by Willis, Collaros actually looked good. If he can play that well, they will be able to move the ball. It's hard to know what to think about this game. Their team is better than people want to give them credit for.
  11. good idea. Here's an interesting comment about guns in the USA. Makes sense to me. “In retrospect Sandy Hook marked the end of the US gun control debate,” Dan Hodges, a British journalist, wrote in a post on Twitter two years ago, referring to the 2012 attack that killed 20 young students at an elementary school in Connecticut. “Once America decided killing children was bearable, it was over.” That was the shooting that Trump's man Jones said was fake, done with actors.
  12. I went to that link. Here's what I found.
  13. Probably a bunch of things. There are many people in the US that think that violence is acceptable and sometimes necessary to get what you want. Murdering abortion clinic staff for instance. McVeigh is a hero in some circles. Now with Trump and his ilk stirring the pot, it's getting worse. "The killer was identified as 28-year-old Ian David Long, a former machine gunner and decorated combat veteran of the war in Afghanistan who authorities said had an episode of erratic behavior last spring that they were told might be post-traumatic stress disorder."
  14. Great post thanks. I've read that it appears that huge amounts of money for the "leave" side of Brexit came from Russia. It's disturbing that it's been, really, quite easy for Putin to carry this out. Something good happening in Kansas.
  15. Hard to have any idea what's next. Kansas elected a Democratic party governor. Interesting, Laura Kelly; "(Republican incumbent) Kobach attempted to stir up fears about the caravan of Central American migrants traveling north through Mexico, in an effort to make illegal immigration a key issue for Kansas voters. Laura Kelly ( who won) has acknowledged the key role immigrant labor plays in Kansas’s economy, saying at a debate last week that, if elected, she would endorse comprehensive immigration reform to “let people live in peace.” I've read that state Republicans have really wrecked Kansas. Specially their school system.
  16. The main thing they should do is get something useful done. For instance, rebuild highways bridges, and so on, that Obama and Trump both said they would do, and did not do.
  17. Wonder what Steinhauer might be doing.
  18. The people that like Trump are not moved by facts, and they can change what they think at the drop of a hat. I think there are some things that a fairly large majority of Americans agree on. That's what the Democrats should work on. Then, put up a very good candidate next time round, and vote Trump out .
  19. 3down NOTES: Edmonton’s 9-9 mark is the best record not to make the playoffs since the crossover format was instituted back in 1996.
  20. So For you "it's been Done forever" is a reason to not look at it and maybe try to eliminate it ? The guy even limped off the field. ridiculous.
  21. who was the Montreal player that pile drove a Bomber player head first into the ground? Milt is a bit full of himself, that's his style. Not my favourite persona, but he's not over the top like some . Sanchez doesn't bother me, he has some good information and opinons. Barker is good too.
  22. Lulay line: 10/16, 111 yds, 2 INTs. getting picked off by a d lineman. playing badly. played badly last game against Sask. BC defence a mess. they had a few games run of playing well, which seems to be over. Big crowd there, it's really too bad they have nothing to cheer about.
  23. do not think the LIons next head coach will come from any of the current staff.
