  2. This morning someone went into a synagogue and shot and killed 8 people. Also shot three police. Person has been caught. Pittsburgh. The US cavalcade of hate continues.
  3. Ed Tait: "Winnipeg now ranks second in points surrendered this year at 22.8, behind only the Stamps at 20.3. And it’s been eons since a Winnipeg defence could boast those numbers. “It starts off with really building our chemistry,” said Adam Bighill earlier this week. “We’ve had a lot of the same guys in our lineup and we’ve learned from our mistakes and just built together. It’s understanding our gameplan, executing it, not giving up big plays and really making the offence have to earn everything. Everyone’s doing a great job of getting after the quarterback and affecting his rhythm. In this league, that’s what you’ve got to do.” The Bombers have had seven games this year in which 10 or more of their points have come off turnovers. They lead the league with 141 points off turnovers, or 28 percent of their total points." Second ranked defence. Darvin Adams.... showing that he is a number one receiver.
  4. Didn't Fogg have several returns for touchdowns last season? Maybe there are other problems with the returns.
  5. rookie cornerback Amos, No 40, Calgary, not sure how many CFL games he's played..... maybe two. five tackles total. Hope defence can continue to play as it has been the last four games, no fourth quarter collapse, and that Nichols has a solid game.
  6. I'm Surprised that Fox would do that. what this guy did will be seen as a good thing. nothing matters to Trump's followers. They have no problem violence, and intimidation. In fact they like it. Worse, lots of them will call the guy a hero. They'll be sorry he didn't get any of the liberals. Might well be a fund raiser for him very soon.
  7. Have teams been able to run against Stamps in the last few games? Where do The Bomber's running plays tend to go? Chris Matthews /Rogers, against Randle, Sayles Santos Knox.
  8. I do not understand why putting cross hairs over a photo of a person's face, is ok for some people.
  9. I don't think Bo will go to the NFL. The trend there seems to be young quarterbacks, right out of college.
  10. Don't know the numbers but most Republican women also like Trump's positions. Also, a number of evangelical leaders. The people spreading the idea that the Democrat's bombed their own leaders, honestly, Profiting from creating and spreading chaos. Really, these people are a serious blight on society.
  11. There are white people, millions of them, in the states, who think of themselves as oppressed by the blacks, Hispanics,, liberals, Yankees,, etc. It would be funny if it wasn't so horrible. These are the only people Trump can communicate with.
  12. The hotter the ocean is, the more energy and force the hurricane has. And higher moisture, more rainfall. "Earth's strongest storm of 2018, Super Typhoon Yutu, was pounding the U.S. Northern Mariana Islands late Wednesday morning (U.S. EDT) with sustained winds of 180 mph, according to the Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC). At 10 am EDT, the northern eyewall of Yutu was over Tinian Island, which will likely experience catastrophic damage. Yutu is Earth’s tenth Category 5 storm of 2018, an astonishing total that has only been exceeded only once on record (twelve, in 1997). Yutu is tied with Super Typhoon Mangkhut, which also had 180 mph winds, as the strongest storm of 2018." Carbon brief: "Ocean heat content (OHC) set a new record in the first half of 2018, with more warmth in the oceans than at any time since OHC records began in 1940. Global surface temperatures in 2018 are on track to be the fourth warmest since records began in the mid-1800s, behind only 2015, 2016 and 2017. Temperatures in 2018 were near record highs despite a moderate cooling La Niña event during the first half of the year. Moderate El Niño conditions are expected to develop during November, which will contribute to a slightly warmer finish to 2018. However, as El Niño’s warming impact on surface temperatures tends to lag by a few months this event will mostly affect 2019. The latest data shows that the level of the world’s oceans continued to rise in 2018, with sea levels around 8 centimeters (cm) higher than in the early 1990s. Atmospheric concentrations of greenhouse gases including CO2, methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O) also reached record high levels in 2018." sustained winds of 180 mph. Amazing things. photos from hurricane michael that destroyed parts of the Florida panhandle last week. https://truthout.org/articles/hurricane-michael-survivor-calls-out-climate-denier-politicians/
  13. Above Pigseye posted Arctic sea ice is 3d highest volume in 16 years. Fact check: wrong. https://nsidc.org/ (Nasa again) Rhine River flow is record low. No longer navigable for some vessels.
  14. Another, related example of what happens when science is ignored, and crackpots are looked up to anti vaccination , anti science, pseudo science, doing it's wonderful work.
  15. Usual stuff.... one of those citations about climate is from an an aeronautical engineer, one is from a website all information about which is written in Asian Script, and so on. This tells you a lot.......about the person that posted it.
  16. Appears that the various political and business leaders are unwilling to wade into this and do what's necessary. Instead of spending three trillion invading Iraq, they could have spent it on renewable energy. Probably have the thing solved by now. Good luck holding back the tens of millions climate refugees on the move, when things implode. Thanks for the articles.
  17. Knox clear intentional head shot. glad we don't have people like him on the bombers. jackson should leave the field.
  18. sj green meaningless game, stretches out for a tough catch. he really is good. Playing for next season.....These guys are hitting hard
  19. when you have a rebuilt knee does it cause problems over time with arthritis and weakness? How often do those forty yards and longer passes work? seems like not the best way to move the ball. you can see why they like franklin, when he is playing well, he can really put it into a small space. just has to stop with int.
  20. teams are playing hard. allouettes must have the worst O line in the CFL.
  21. The Republicans are really, a proto fascist organisation. This guy is a plain racist, whose followers fight on the street. Republicans have been completely taken over by Trump, and his followers.
