I've read that Chinese investors have been buying some North American sports teams. Get those guys in, they have the dough ray me!

Nicholshimself said he was imobile in the last game..... could not leave the pocket. Edmonton supposedly one of the top D lines. Nichols was a sitting duck. Yet with Neufeld in, how many times was Nichols sacked or pressured? It wasn't a problem. Neufeld did his job well. It's also possible that he's improved since he was last starting isn't it? I Anyway, Walby says he's good. I'm with Walby!

I didn't notice Nichols having problems being clobbered when he was passing, or a lack of running room for Harris, last game or two when Neufeld was playing.

good point, but there are tv ratings as poster above mentions.

The League would be quite a bit better off with an Eastern team in the Grey Cup. Can't imagine Sask v. Calgary or Edmonton inspiring much interest in Ontario.

Thought I read that Bond wouldn't make the NFL, and that other CFL guys have not fared well in the NFL.

Starting a war against a country that is not threatening you, based on lies, sending people to die, get maimed, get ptsd, probably a million Iraqis dead... (based on accepted methods of determing deaths caused by war) waste several trillion dollars of your own countries money. Having who knows how much money outright stolen, bombing water supplies, hospitals. spreading radioactive waste around the country resulting in a big spike in child cancers. (Fallujah) I call that evil.

Laurent Duvernay-Tardif (born February 11, 1991) is a Canadian-born American football guard for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Chiefs in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He played college football at McGill University. Fairly sure he has started some games for the Chiefs.

Embarrassing, stupid, racist, braggart, buffoon, lecher, creep, everything, but, So far, Trump hasn't started a ruinous war like Bush junior did. Or like Nixon/Johnson did. Together those three killed millions of innocents. all based on their own lies. Those three are far more vile than Trump. He's high school football they are NFL level evil. So far.

dementia, or on something to keep him from going right off the deep end requiring hospitalization.

The questioning of the offence/LaPolice is so unsupportable it's ridiculous. "What's the best part of the team? Offence? Best in the league, record setting? League leading QB for most of the season? OK good. I'll go ahead and slam the offence . All season long!"

Heard an interview (radio) with Walters before Calgary game I think. My impression from the interview was that Mulumba doesn't have a lot of interest in coming to the CFL. I think (could be remembering incorrectly here) Walters said that the Bombers made an offer to Mulumba through his agent, and did not hear back from them. Maybe trueblue could correct me if I am wrong.

I was in a long line of people waiting to buy a beer. Probably twenty people. Two people serving them. Probably a ten minute wait to get a beer.

More and more stuff about Trump/Putin link is being dripped out. Now.... communicating with wikileaks. I wonder if he's stupid enough to refuse to resign, when the republicans are finally forced to dump him. I have really lost any respect for Assange through this. Simple revenge on Hillary Clinton. Used by Putin for this.

I have no opinion on Richie Hall. His getting fired in Sask means nothing to me. But I remember early last season, Willy was getting killed, and many people here were saying the O line was terrible, and Bob Wylie was doing a bad job and should be let go. Then they put in Bond, and Nichols, and suddenly Bob Wylie was a great coach again. If they don't bring in some much better players in some positions on defence, it won't matter who the D coach is. D will still be low grade. I also think O'Shea will not fire Hall if Mike doesn't think that's the problem with the D. I'm pretty sure fifty people posting on a fan forum is not what Mike's decisions are based on. I also wonder if effort and character, which are important, weigh too highly in the various factors they use in deciding which players to keep. Seems some better ( on the field) players are gone, and some not so good players got more chances than they should have this season.

To me, Washington looks too slender/ slight to be playing CFL football.

During that last drive, Bob mentioned a near horrendous collision between Denmark, and another receiver. Sometimes the "this team never quits" thing becomes silly, and they were lucky it seems, that no player was badly injured getting a pointless touchdown, when the game was absolutely over.

I thought the Bombers would win this game. Some of my favourite Bomber players careers are winding down. So far more than the for fans, I feel sorry for those guys. most of all, by far, Harris. If they all played like him, this team would win the Grey Cup.

Recent research from Yascha Mounk at Harvard and Roberto Stefan Foa from the University of Melbourne has shown that young people take democracy for granted in the United States. Three in four Americans born in the 1930s — the generation that witnessed the horrors of totalitarianism — believe that it is “essential” to live in a democracy. Fewer than one in three Americans born in the 1980s see democracy as “essential.” https://www.salon.com/2017/11/13/of-course-it-can-happen-here-trumps-not-a-despot-but-hes-no-friend-to-democracy/

I think all of these Defensive backs are outstanding athletes, so it comes down to ability/desire to learn the playbook. And coach's ability to teach it to them. What's the name of that play "leave receiver running free thirty yards from line of scrimmage, right in the middle"?
