Antigua is a small flat rock. probably averages five feet above sea level. People basically have nothing. now they'll have less than that. "MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Florida - Miami-Dade County will begin evacuations as early as Wednesday ahead of a possible arrival of Hurricane Irma." what's this one going to cost.

Hurricane Irma intensified into an extremely dangerous high-end Category 5 storm with top sustained winds of 180 mph on Tuesday morning, putting it among the strongest Atlantic hurricanes ever observed. Irma's winds are the most powerful ever measured in an Atlantic hurricane north of the Caribbean and east of the Gulf of Mexico. Measurements from Hurricane Hunter aircraft found peak winds of close to 180 mph, well above the 157-mph threshold for Category 5 strength. At 11:07 am EDT, a dropsonde in Irma's eye measured a central pressure of 927 millibars, 4 mb lower than the previous pass, so Irma is still strengthening.

I wonder if Lankford just isn't thrown to that much. Seems like he does not fit in very well with the mostly short pass offence. He might be better than his stats show, but just doesn't get the chance to show it. Think you're right about Jake. I just read at 3downnation..... no sacks in three games for the entire D line. not good. I do not understand three passes from the six either. Running game is out of style NFL and CFL. Since defences are now set up to stop the pass, you would think running would be the obvious thing to do. I suspect, with no basis, that the cool thing to do, is run some kind of complicated passing attack. Run game does not take much planning and play designing maybe, just some big guys pushing people out of the way for the ball carrier.

huge storm. which team is favoured by delay? Hamilton defence was playing well so far. 2 minute half time radio hamilton said.

another hurricane heading across caribbean towards fla. category 4. Still churning hundreds of miles east of the Caribbean, Hurricane Irma is on a track that could bring it near the Leeward Islands by Wednesday and into the Eastern Bahamas by Friday. Hurricane watches were issued Sunday afternoon by the governments of Antigua, France, and the Netherlands on Sunday afternoon for the islands of Antigua, Barbuda, Anguilla, Montserrat, St. Kitts, Nevis, Saba, St. Eustatius, Sint Maarten/St. Martin, and Saint Barthelemy. With any luck, Irma’s center and its more dangerous right-hand side will stay just north of the Leewards, Puerto Rico, and Hispaniola. However, Irma is expected to be a powerhouse Category 4 hurricane by that point, so high winds, huge surf, and torrential rains could occur well away from its center. It appears increasingly likely that Irma’s wrath will be focused on parts of The Bahamas late next week, and a major hurricane landfall along the U.S. East Coast is a distinct possibility by Sunday or Monday.

last offseason referee meeting "let's check the rulebook for some new fun penalties that we've been ignoring" "how bout hands to the face?" "excellent!"

Calgary has top D in league. They have 49 singleton. Should be a fairly easy game for the Stamps.

Hall or players, probably a bit of both.

the bad defence has for one and a half seasons been compensated for by the Big play defensive turnovers. didn't get any yesterday. We lost. Some people (Noeller was one) said preseason they were worried about the Defence.... and they were right. I don't think this is an airlift kind of management. so... probably stick with what they've got and hope the Offense can score huge amounts of points. Must be a irritating to Mike O'Shea to have a team that performs so poorly on D, with so many guys that can't tackle. I don't remember him well, but I imagine he didn't whiff on too many tackles. Edit... defence excuse last season was that the offence was off the field too much, didn't score so the D was under stress. do not have that one this season.

Labour Day Classic: Winnipeg @ Saskatchewan

I thought Nichols had lots of time, and was looking downfield. Can't see what's going on offscreen. Maybe the receivers weren't open enough to throw to. Or he's not willing to try throws that other QB try. and the throw to Adams was about six inches from being a completion for a touchdown. but you're right, two plays really were the difference in the game. They beat us at our own game. That probably won't happen again, it would be out of character for this Bomber team.
