  1. I thought Nichols was going to throw more interceptions. He's really sorted that out to this point. Think we've got to give some credit to Buck too regarding Nichols. The long pass to Denmark was outstanding. I'd say it was a perfect throw. Don't know if they tried that one again, and couldn't pull it off, or simply didn't go back to that play.
  2. Glad to hear he's fine. stressful job.
  3. I definitely was overenthused about the Bombers. Thought they were top three team. nope. The D line didn't look as good as it has last while. durant had too much time I thought. Maybe Jake Thomas being out? have to also admit that the riders are improving rapidly.
  4. that guy should lost the training wheels.
  5. lol! tried to post a watermelon hat, but can't do it (properly) proper. meant to type "edit" but I got distracted.
  6. Maybe Loffler will be in contact with him. He's well rested, and has been keeping in game shape.
  7. Trump ahead Aug 31 http://polling.reuters.com/#poll/TM651Y15_DS_13/filters/LIKELY:1/dates/20160601-20160831/type/day what a mess.
  8. Walters and Willy were both probably sick of reading and hearing about how overpaid Drew was as a backup.... this information takes some pressure off the team and Drew. I read about it frequently in the Drew Willy discussions. so, I will go ahead and guess it came from the team. might be embarrassing for the other Bomber reporters.
  9. this am, amongst other things, I was wondering why they were keeping Castillo. BC might try him out. or the Vikings.
  10. nails it again
  11. sparse crowd in Montreal glenn⬇︎
  12. lol time for another Festa homebrew.
  13. better than then top 3, the guy carried his team.
  14. the dink and dunk offence is a good remedy for insomnia. man that Argo offence is dull. Looks a lot like what they were trying to do here first part of the season. Lots of five to seven yard passes. Wilkie specialized in that. but they threw bombs too. Shawn lemon split two blockers and got a sack... went right between them, he's super fast and strong I think. I've been to that Toronto exhibition grounds, although a long time ago, so I guess it's changed, but twenty five years ago it was no big deal to get to. not at all, and I didn't know my way around. strange that hamilton is a very good CFL city, really not far from Toronto, and Toronto is not.
  15. actually johnzo I think that's the team that the caller mentioned, 1990 grey cup winner
  16. heard a guy call in the coach's show and compare the team (the way it's playing now) to the Grey Cup winnier with Sean Salsberry at quarterback. I don't remember the details of that team, but I remember enough to think that was a good comparison. don't think that team was an offensive powerhouse. I remember this play "With the score 22-19 in favour of the Bombers, the Lions marched 75 yards downfield to the Winnipeg seven-yard line. Dunigan’s pass was batted down and intercepted in the end zone by Winnipeg’s Mike Gray to snuff out the drive." I predict we will be like that team, second half of season.? coach's show, Mike was almost giggling, talking about some of the defensive plays in the last game. Nice to hear him more relaxed.
  17. lol mbrg wbbfabwest.....
  18. yeah that is a very good point atomic. tough to compare canada to any country really. physically Siberia to some esxtent.
  19. Best fans in the CFL! one and one half bad seasons and they're out.
  20. More dupes..... the insurance industry "Multi-national insurers with more than $1.2 trillion in assets under management have urged governments to commit to phasing out fossil fuel subsides by 2020 at the G20 leaders' summit in Hangzhou, China next month. Mark Wilson, CEO of Aviva plc, said, "Making a profit is essential in business. But we will only be in business in the future if we act sustainably and create wider long term social value. That's just good business - and not acting sustainably is very bad business indeed." He said climate change in particular represents the mother of all risks - to business and to society as a whole"
  21. I guess Kelowna Bomber fan, Exxon has been duped too, cause here's what one of their Vice Presidents said. March 31 2014. From their website: " “It is equally essential that society manages the risk of climate change by increasing energy efficiency and by investing in research into technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions." They must really be twisting in a knot duping themselves like this. and Kelowna bomber fan, can you show us anything that discredits Desmog blog other than you're name calling? Looking forward to seeing it. what have you got besides some name calling?
