Other than the fact that a lot of people dislike Chris Jones , don't Jones and Murphy get some patience and time ? They need three years just as much as any other duo don't they? Say.... O'Shea and Walters? I think some bomber fans actually enjoy seeing the Riders lose, more than seeing the Bombers win lol.... similar to Vikings fans hatred for the Pack. Double bonus when Jones is ruining running it...... lol

me too. I really enjoy listening to the Jets games with him calling the plays. not joking about Rick..... I like his perspective. Sports is not the be all and end all.

Is Matt the first person in history to leave major market radio to become a rabbi? good luck to him! I can listen to him for short periods, but I don't like Matt that much, for one thing, he does not have a great voice for radio..... what happened to all the big voice guys? Love those guys... nowdays the sound of your voice seems to be unimportant, too bad. to take over, of all the staff I've heard on 1290, I prefer Joel ( I think it is) Marcoux. He took over a few times while people were away. and asked really (to me) smart questions.... didn't get too goofy, or try to be a comedian, wasn't trying to prove anything...... Did a really good job. Hope it's him. I don't agree with rebus about Troy, I think Westwood is pretty entertaining, and gets himself fairly worked up about things now and again. I like listening to him. He also knows what he's talking about re football, so I appreciate his opinions. He's a huge bomber booster, (naturally). I sure could do without the frikcin Blue Jays coverage though... I just shut it off when that starts. Rick Ralph is by far their best man.

When I first noticed it, (I have driven many times through B.C.) was the death of the pine forests...... huge area bigger than Vancouver island has died in B.C. you could see it progressing, whole mountain sides, gone brown....with each passing year. It's beyond me how anyone can drive through those yellow dead forests, and not wonder why it was happening. another eye opener for me was driving through the agricultural areas around Vanouver, and seeing crops under irrigation. I lived there years ago..... there was no shortage of rain in the fifties. you must be pretty fit to climb those trails, they're not easy.

there is a herd mentality in football coaching. for instance now you see d lineman dropping back in pass coverage.... started in the nfl, now caught on in the cfl ...... stupid. pretty sure I've seen Montreal do it, (55 drops back) for instance.
