enough already....put in Jensen two near picks for henry. -
noticed one play where the Bomber O lineman, (huge guy, maybe it was bond) was actually standing straight up, facing backwards towards nichols, a defender right behind him, and couldn't get by. our guy just kind of moved sideways back and for th, a little shimmy so to speak. f first time I've seen backwards facing blocking that worked. They Tried it quite a few times last year, but usual result was splattered quarterback. also worth remembering that the edmonton D line has some outstanding players.

jennings gets lots of time.... seeing some fantastic pass plays, and great catches this year... a few crap games, and sometimes too many flags, but overall the excitement level is much higher than last season... been a lot of good games this season -
What are some of the other Bomber Message Boards?

Hope you stick around, your posts are interesting. Don't waste your time arguing though. Some people enjoy arguing more than anything else about this forum. They even admit it now and then. best to not bother with them. -

Thing I noticed for the first time in years, is receivers blocking for a sideline screen pass. Saw three guys out in front of one of those early on, doing an effective job.

Odds and Sods - Game 6 - Bombers at Edmonton

They played with much more enthusiasm with Nichols at qb. offence and defence. perhaps the team hasn't lost faith in Moss, but maybe they have in Willy. Darvin Adams was making some amazing catches....if he keeps playing that way, nobody will complain about him. -
Jeff Beck plays a blue strat - o - matic. is this the game thread? or are people to Pissed off to bother with one?

There are some humorous posters here that make it worth wading through the invective, at least most of the time. Got too thick for me a few weeks ago for a few days/threads. -

I don't think Charlie Roberts would have been kept on a Mike O'Shea team. -

methane russian researchers http://www.independent.co.uk/news/science/vast-methane-plumes-seen-in-arctic-ocean-as-sea-ice-retreats-6276278.html

can't read that, cause I cant disable adblocker, but thanks. No doubt if frozen methane starts melting, ....... here's something that's going to cause water problems in Western Canada Saskatchewan glacier .... good photos of the retreat https://glacierchange.wordpress.com/2013/02/28/saskatchewan-glacier-retreat-alberta/ " The recession of the glacier since the late 19th century is similar to that of other glaciers in the area and was greater than 2 km. middle image from USGS. Bolch et al (2010) identified a 25% loss in glacier area in Alberta from 1985 to 2005, indicating the retreat goes on regionally. " Athabasca Glacier " Markers dating back as early as 1890 show the toe of the Athabasca Glacier has retreated 1.5 kilometres, leaving a moonscape of gravel and rock behind. "We're doing our measurement close to the toe of the glacier and the amount of growth each year is dwarfed by the amount it recedes," said Wilmshurst. Bob Sandford, chairman of the Canadian Partnership Initiative of the UN Water for Life Decade, said it's "mind boggling" because not only is the glacier receding — it's also becoming more shallow. "I first wrote a tourist book on the Columbia Icefields in 1994 and it was generally held that it was somewhere around 325 square kilometres. That icefield now is calculated to be about 220 square kilometres," he said." And here's the future problem: "Water from the Saskatchewan Glacier enters into the Saskatchewan River. From here it moves eastward crossing the provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba into Hudson Bay, and thereby, the Atlantic Ocean. These meltwaters travel a distance of 1,600 miles (2,600 km). From glaciers on the ice field’s northwestern edge, water flows into the Fraser and Columbia rivers leading to the Pacific Ocean. The Columbia River flows 1,240 miles (2,000 km) before outletting its fresh water into the ocean. If these glaciers disappear, a critical water supply, mainly for western Canada but also for other portions of North America, will be gone. To illustrate the problem, the Athabasca Glacier feeds several large prairie water systems. During the hot, dry summer of 1998, this glacier was the only thing that kept certain rivers flowing." ugly times ahead in Western Canada

did you see this? also "It was a historic day in the annals of meteorology on Thursday, July 21, 2016 in the Middle East, where the temperature in Mitribah, Kuwait soared to an astonishing 54°C (129.2°F). If verified, this would be Earth's hottest temperature ever reliably measured outside of Death Valley, California, according to wunderground's weather historian Christopher C. Burt."

Does a blow out against the Eskimos cost MOS his job?
Mark F replied to White Out's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
More than one person's job is in jeopardy at this point. I don't think Walters is the right person to choose the next head coach, if O'Shea loses the job. I know football is different, but can you imagine a person in any other job, being wrong, (which is what losing a game is in professional sports, ) as many times as our current head coach is, and keeping his job? ok... maybe President of the United States. They seem to get unlimited mulligans -
Ed Schultz, from Fargo in camp as a qb in the Dieter Brock days, but did ok after that "He was the host of The Ed Show, a weekday news talk program on MSNBC, and The Ed Schultz Show, a talk radio show, nationally syndicated by Dial Global" Was the Rock ever a Bomber?

Odds and Sods - Game 5 - Stamps at Blue Bombers
Mark F replied to do or die's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
saw a few passes behind open receivers... on one adams coming fast across from sideline, had to reach well back, and made a nice catch, it appeared that if he had been able to catch it in stride, he would have made the first down easily, but was tackled short of a first down. next play willy stuffed on third and one.
