  1. This makes sense to me. And he made some beautiful throws. Quite a few of them. I remember one perfectly dropped in bomb to the endzone. Willy was pretty good when he got here. Now he's not. He does look like Buck looked towards the end. Even the way he turns and runs straight for the sideline when things are breaking down. He may be tough, but there's a limit to the beatings a person can take. The coach seems to value toughness over everything else. Starting to understand why many quarterbacks don't want to come here. It's not money. It wouldn't surprise me to see Willy go elswhere and play to his potential.

  3. You accept the things people say to the media at face value. I don't.
  4. So.... you were in on the discussions after all.
  5. sure, but in the long run, there's actually only one party in the United states, the party of wall street. Not one prosecution under Obama, Democrat, of anyone for torure, for lying to congress, for committing massive fraud in the trillions. Hillary Clinton, Democrat, votes "yes" for war every chance she gets. Johnzo I've been following the Malheur thing at an Oregon news site.... the Oregonian... pretty interesting. Latest.... some of the accused are puzzled by the difference between presumption of innocence, and risk of flight. guffaw. "constitutional law " experts. Johnzo check this out https://www.splcenter.org/hate-map you're not too bad out where you are.
  6. glad they booked this deal.
  7. thanks for posting this...
  8. perhaps the impending ufa's should look in the mirror when figuring out why the Jets aren't very good. Maybe they can figure out how to stop taking stupid penalties for a start. No trades, or signings, or prospects, or anything else need be involved in getting that done. Some of the players on this team are playing like idiots. Don't have to be a hockey mastermind to see that.
  9. Our neighbours have a football factory going. http://www.businessinsider.com/carson-wentz-drawing-andrew-luck-comparisons-2016-2?op=1
  10. The Jets need to keep Ladd.
  11. comment from 3downnation. be interesting to see how eskimos and riders do this season "Deion Belue who in 2013 was consider Alabama Crimson Tide’s top cover man takes over for Grymes in the Eskies secondary. He is a heady football player who has 4.4 / 40 speed allowing him to win body positioning during the route and make plays at the catch point. Working with John Ojo (CB) and Kacy Rodgers II (SLB), Belue will fit nicely into the Eskimos defensive scheme that will likely change some, but at a wholesale change level even with new DC Mike Benevides. The Eskimos D may take a bit of a step back as it will certainly more risk averse under Benevides than the gambler Jones, but it will not because of personnel. Deion Lacey, Rodgers and Belue are all quality players that help the Eskies reload on D and that is thanks to Hervey’s foresight."
  12. Very nice website St Louis Rams CFL. Somebody knows what they're doing. one thing..... Definitely can't have two sets of rules.
  13. yeah makes sense, but how can they go two periods and take 8 total shots? Pathetic. went from hitting everything all the time last year, to not much hitting this year. why? I think they have good players... maybe not enough yet, but good enough to be better than what they show this year.
  14. too bad it takes a teammate getting injured in a possible dirty play, and the coach getting himself thrown out of the game... to wake these guys up. clearly they're pretty good when they decide to put some effort into it. havent seen lackluster effort like this from even the worst Bomber teams of the last few years. Even when the team or coach wasn't very good, you could see real effort for the most part. not this Jets bunch. effort or not, they still get paid; too bad for the fans, coach, owners. now the wild wake up, and start playing. didn't play before cause they didn't like the coach. #entitledbabies. reminds me of the NBA where players run the league. complete crap.
  15. lol.... thanks for the chuckle.... I would rather watch CFL, but I do admit NFL exists. pretty hard to ignore all that bloviation and hyperbole they emit.
  16. what's with these guys. lack of pride?
  17. thanks frosty
  18. tried to post a picture of the Pontiac silverdome.
  19. Muamba is too big now to play in the CFL. Made a few plays for Montreal, but I thought he didn't look the same/as good as when he was in peak form here. don't care that he's Canadian. We don't need him here. He won't be coming here I predict. Got guys that worked hard, are improving, and want to be here. Keep them. he's in a funny spot, could have been a highly admired superstar in the CFL, now he'll be a guy who played special teams in the NFL for a few years.
  20. The Jets may not have enough good players to do well, but can anybody explain the penalties? why can't they control themselves? That has nothing to do with skill, athletica talent, or anything like that. why did myers get a penalty a few seconds after the jets get a power play? It's strictly stupid, childish, mental mistakes. we seem to have a few players prone to that. the worst team in the league leads the league in penalties. shock. two dumb penalties, resulting in two goals in a two to one loss. this is hard to understand. should be the easiest thing to fix, yet these guys just can't stop taking penalties. till that changes, this team will do nothing I'd say. Not a coach, or player or manager, so I have no clue why or how to stop it. sidenote, starting to think Meyers is long on talent and short on playing well for a complete game.
  21. look beyond North America, there are places where whites are discriminated against. all groups have their racists. try being a white person in Japan. or a Korean. or a Buddhist in Myanmar. etc. black south africans kill black people from Zimbabwe. Caste system in India. Indians in Singapore. etc. It's part of being human.
  22. to those excited about Paul La Police dissecting Offences on tsn... what do they think that Offensive coordinators do? Main difference being that instead of spending a day or two on it, for a full week of games (TSN) they spend 6 days for one game, probably many hours each day. I recall that La Police worked crazy hours when he was head coach here.
