I'll go out on a limb and say that Hurl will have the same job upcoming season as he had last year. The team likes him.... I don't know near enough to say if he did his job or not, he did seem to make a few more plays as the season passed by. I wouldn't send him on a blitz though.

Canada has been one of the real losers in Investor/state disputes, they've cost us much money. and we lose the ability to govern and pass laws. basically handing over sovereignty to a small stable of corporate lawyers living in Geneva, New York, London and so on. we don't even know their names. That's who makes these decisions, that govern our lives, or economy, our environment, our labour rights.... great idea. Completely the opposite of democracy. Here's one guy involved in the TPP (another crappy trade deal we are supposed to swallow) BBC.... Malaysia will also sign the TPP... ...see..... no problem. just a gift of 479 million pounds.... from Saudi Arabia. LOL.

Wheeler's passing to set up shots was outstanding. There just isn't much room to get a pass through.... has to be pin point. Interesting that the only pass that would have got through on the baseball swing goal, was the one he made, and Ehlers put it in. very fun game to watch.

The team has had some not great luck last month or so..... been more than a few games where they were all over the other team, but the puck went everywhere but in the net. Over it, beside it, just can't get it to go in. That'll change. They're actually pretty good I think. It's not the CFL.....it takes more than a few years to get ahead in the NHL as far as money goes... don't know how much of their money is from ticket sales, but those are canadian dollars....revenue in canadian money, player salary in American......that's got to hurt. It's good that they are thrifty, or they'd be leaving again soon enough.

sure fanboy, the Republicans are amusing in a bizarre way, but You have to understand that most of the people running (either party) don't actually represent the average voter down there. It's a cooperative effort. They all serve the banks, oil companies, the online retailers, Wall street corporations, big ag, big energy, all the rest of it, none of which enterprises give two hoots about what happens to the average joe. Everything else is theatre. These are the people that are passing trade agreements that destroy their own country, spend trillions on wars that have no purpose and no end, and supply lead laced water to poor people causing brain damage, to save a few pennies relatively speaking. Maybe Sanders is genuine. Won't know if, and until he's elected. I'd be surprised if he is.

Did you see the Denver receivers dropping many passes the other day? Players that make millions? People think Moore didn't do enough for what he got paid.... he regularly went up for bad passes, and regularly got killed and injured for his work. So the complaint was ... he's injured too much. yeah, cause he's doing his job. look at the beating that some of the other bombers took this year. Kohlert, for instance. Chances of getting clobbered are very high, and I suspect a lot of players aren't that interested in getting maimed going for a tough catch. tough to find guys that want to do that.

NFL sure has some problems with the quality of it's games. very good individual players making some great plays, but overall, bad coaching, and boring games. The Kansas City plodding coma like march down the field with time running out, was comical/painful/boring. It was as if they thought it was the end of the first half. Denver receivers/recievers making millions can't catch the ball. Panthers coaches go into a shell after half the game. Wilson throwing horrible interceptions. arizona turns a five yard pass into a 95 yard play to win. pitiful. Only team that's worth watching is the Patriots. Well coached, skilled and disciplined team. throw in last week's game with the Bengals, where two guys throw away the win. and the never wins in the playoffs coach keeps his job. makes sense. at least I was bored with it all and only watch one complete game. This is the quarter finals. blech. #ratherwatchCFL !
