Trump, and Republicans. mob rule. fascism. Maybe Garland hesitates because he reasonably fears violence against himself. arizona. "A top Maricopa County election official has been moved to an undisclosed location over safety concerns following the midterm elections. Maricopa County Supervisor Bill Gates confirmed on Sunday that he was transferred and provided a security detail after workers at the Arizona county elections office faced months of escalating death threats that made it increasingly difficult to do their job. Gates, a Republican, has faced particular backlash as a vocal critic of false election claims spurred by Trump’s election denialism in 2020." daily beast https://www.thedailybeast.com/maricopa-county-chairman-bill-gates-transferred-to-undisclosed-location-after-death-threats?ref=home

head coaching comparison. we know Mike's record. No jinx, I can not see Dinwiddie winning the coaching part of the game. although " coaches coach, and players play" .... R. Hall. "February 19, 2013, it was announced that Dinwiddie was joining the coaching staff of the Montreal Alouettes newly hired head coach, Dan Hawkins, as the offensive quality control coach.[8][9] On December 8, 2015, Dinwiddie was hired by the Calgary Stampeders as the team's QB coach.[10] Under Dinwiddie, Bo Levi Mitchell won CFL Most Outstanding Player twice as the Stampeders reached the Grey Cup in three consecutive years, including winning in 2018.[11] On December 12, 2019, Dinwiddie was named the head coach of the Toronto Argonauts, the 45th in team history.[11] However, the 2020 CFL season was cancelled and he did not coach in 2020. In his first season, in 2021, he led the team to a first place finish in the East Division, but the club lost the East Final to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats." https://www.wired.com/story/nord-stream-pipeline-explosion-dark-ships/ New analysis seen by WIRED shows that two large ships, with their trackers off, appeared around the leak sites in the days immediately before they were detected. According to the analysis by satellite data monitoring firm SpaceKnow, the two “dark ships,” each measuring around 95 to 130 meters long, passed within several miles of the Nord Stream 2 leak sites. “We have detected some dark ships, meaning vessels that were of a significant size, that were passing through that area of interest,” says Jerry Javornicky, the CEO and cofounder of SpaceKnow. “They had their beacons off, meaning there was no information about their movement, and they were trying to keep their location information and general information hidden from the world,” Javornicky adds. The discovery, which was made by analyzing images from multiple satellites, is likely to further increase speculation about the cause of the blasts. Multiple countries investigating the incident believe the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines were rocked by a series of explosions, with many suspicions directed at Russia as its full-scale invasion of Ukraine continues. (Russia has denied its involvement.) Once SpaceKnow identified the ships, it reported its findings to officials at NATO, who are investigating the Nord Stream incidents. Javornicky says NATO officials asked the company to provide more information. "

why not? CFL fans sure are down on their league. Streveler is on a roster. There are cfl qb's who made the NFL, started in the NFL, had success there, and one is in their hall of fame. wierd.

bribery....India: selling votes. at least they are honest about their bribery. Calling it a “constitutionally correct” principle, the Centre on Tuesday backed in the Supreme Court a 1998 ruling that shields MPs and MLAs from prosecution if they accept bribes in lieu of their votes "The Constitution bench judgment in 1998 came after criminal prosecutions were sought to be launched in the wake of 10 MPs belonging to the JMM and the Janata Dal casting their votes to defeat a no-confidence motion moved in the Lok Sabha against the minority government of Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao in 1993. The Supreme Court at that time held that the bribe-taking MPs who voted on the no-confidence motion are entitled to immunity from criminal prosecution for the offences of bribery and criminal conspiracy conferred on them by Article 105(2) of the Constitution. also... if the prosecutor knew this, why isn't Trump charged? "nobody is above the Law"

seems significant "On Tuesday, Rolling Stone reported that Allen Weisselberg, the longtime top accountant for the Trump Organization, testified at trial that former President Donald Trump was aware of — and personally approved — the fraudulent accounting for which his family business is now under criminal indictment. "Former Trump Organization chief financial officer Allen Weisselberg testified Tuesday that Donald Trump personally green-lighted untaxed benefits that are the center of a Manhattan criminal trial against several of the ex-president’s eponymous companies — including a gratis residence in New York City," reported Victoria Bekiempis. "'The rent was authorized by Donald Trump,' Weisselberg said less than two hours into his time on the stand in State Supreme Court in Manhattan. The septuagenarian, who sported a deep gray suit and pale blue tie, spoke matter of factly.""

"The US Department of Justice said in June the US and its allies have frozen $30bn of Russian elite assets and $300bn of Russian central bank assets held overseas." After his fuckery with Trump, 2016 election, he might have had an inkling that some powerful Americans were unhappy with him. Yet, he gave them the opening to punish him. which they are doing. it's clear that Putin is just not very smart.

good to win, yet that Arizona election was very close. it is disturbing that a person as stupid as kari lake , gets 49 % of the vote. this voter stupidity problem is not easy to fix.

ridiculous rule. blocked punt is very exciting play. NFL kicker injuries. "There were 488 total injuries over the 20-year period: 72% involved the lower extremity, 9% involved the lumbosacral spine, and 7% involved the head. Muscle-tendon injuries (49%) were the most common, followed by ligamentous injuries (17%). There was a significantly higher risk of injury in games (17.7 per 1000) than during practice (1.91 per 1000). Most injuries (93%) did not require surgery" -
Biden started out slow, but he is really rolling. Wonder what happened behind the scenes at his Whitehouse.. cause there was a very big change. The right wing establishment Democratic party nothing going to change faction lost. example being the huge Biden move to renewables. be interesting to read about it, after his Presidency.

thanks a lot! From the days when sports writers could actually put together a well written, entertaining column. and those days are gone. our (fans) loss. "A lot of people have the notion the annual November insanity began in 1948 when the Calgary Stampeders skidded across the ice floes of windswept Varsity Stadium in Toronto and dashed the Ottawa Rough Riders by 12-7. What made that event significant was that the westerners were accompanied by a corralful of cowpokes of at least two genders who paraded on Bay Street, the country’s homburg and briefcase capital. They wore five-gallon hats and 10-gallon hangovers and they flipped flapjacks from covered wagons to the gaping throngs on the sidewalks in the financial canyons." forgot about this kind of writing. now.... we get barely literate recitations of stats. edit... . we have exceptional Ed Tait. old school good.
