if a ball is thrown ten yards over the head of a receiver but he's pushed, is there a flag? should there be? People commonly say offensive holding can be called on every play. But they don't call it every play. according to you, they should.

when there's a penalty that has no effect on the outcome of the play, there should not be a flag. clipping on the other side of the field on a return for instance. stupid. but I didn't see that in the game. not saying it didn't happen. maybe too many flags for guys talking and the like. Who cares. These players are mentally jacked up. Expecting them all to behave like they're at a book club meeting is stupid and unrealistic. Not only that, I expect quite a few fans, not all, but lots, get a kick out of that stuff.

Their defence started to stink last year half way through the season. At the time I thought it was related to Durant getting hurt, and the offence disappearing. I heard that chamblin blamed their second loss on late int thrown by glenn. I'm Glad that O'Shea does not do that. Best defences might be Montreal Toronto Edmonton then Ottawa. don't know about the order. But Montreal has allowed one touchdown in three games. They must be the best. and bombers beat them.

I didn't see a running back staying in to help stop blitz. am I right? and if I am, why not? good game by kohlert and moore. moore took some tough hits. kohlert got open nicely I thought. seems to have a knack for that. and reliable.

Lot of penalties, but in the Bomber game, (watching on tv) I didn't see any that I thought were clearly wrong, maybe one marginal PI call. I don't like too many flags, but I really enjoyed watching that game. It was a complete nail biter; the flags did nothing to change that for me. I think the games are overall far better this year.
