  1. riders fans think the referees beat them.
  2. what a disappointment for Sask. Pick six by Glenn. I didn't think Harris would bring Toronto back in regular time with a minute or so left. He really is good. Great game.
  3. what happened to Sask secondary in the last five minutes of this game, and overtime?
  4. I couldn't see any contact on that interference penalty. This is an exciting game
  5. very nice by the team. wonder if the game will be visible through the smoke. seriously.
  6. Yeah, they sure get on a theme don't they? Once they're on it, they stay with it. I wonder sometimes, how coaches make their decisions about players. Watching Crompton, then Bridge last week, then watching Cato run the offence for Montreal, is Cato that much better than Crompton and Bridge? I know, just one game, but the guy looked pretty good, including against the blitz. And if he is, why couldn't they see it? He wasn't even on the roster before this week. Maybe some guys play better in practice than others, and some guys play better in games than others. Maybe if they're expecting too much from Crompton, should run more when he's playing. I wonder what goes through coaches heads. Do they make excuses for some guys, and ignore how good some other guys are? Do they look at stats too much? After the Bomber game Doug Brown said,( I think ), that coaches tend to not like quarterbacks like Marve, that don't just run the play that's called. Makes sense.
  7. You can't be serious. Tedford has only coached one game in the CFL, you've got a mighty short rope for hanging. I think USABomberfan has been watching Donald Trump show a fair bit. "You're fired!"
  8. BC had first and goal from 6 and first and goal from 5, could not get the td. impressive defence.
  9. Enjoyable game. I am getting close to the 1000 post mark. spending a lot of time at this site. possibly too much. I should be reading, or something.
  10. Ottawa O line outplayed BC D line Ottawa D line outplayed BC o line. Ottawa 2 and 0
  11. If Ottawa had a decent quarterback, they'd be a contender. everything is good except hank. he's had horseshoes in this game.
  12. Hank tried to give it away, but the bc guy dropped it. redbrick touchdown chainsaw celebration is the worst one I've seen. by far. and it looks likes that chain needs to be sharpened. Brohm.Marve.
  13. beloved phrases heard during the broadcast - barks out the signals - two headed monster - punishing runner - right on the money and others looks like lulay might be more willing to slide as opposed to slamming into defenders. hope so.
  14. Delbert is a great name. Ottawa kickers seem pretty good. Looks like Ottawa has a good offensive line. B.C. has three Americans, not looking so good so far. thunderstorm rolling through now.
  15. see if hank can throw an int here. Every thread is Brohmful now. Tedford sure has the official football look. and a bungle!!!
  16. "but more importantly, Danny talked about the type of young man he is" so being of good character is the number one quality our players have to have? Is that it? More important than ability to play? Hope not. ottawa v. B.C. Burris is absolutely horrible. thrown three that should have been picked off first quarter, and one that was.
  17. This is precisely what I think. I also think that a lot of these old school guys, players, coaches, media guys, fans, people that played high school football and maybe had a concussion, still think a concussion is not really a big deal. I've heard some of them say, more or less, " I played with concussions, why shouldn't the quarterback" It's the "tough guy" mentality bullshyte. I think it's still around quite a bit, fans, teams, and media. Yah, go out there and scramble your brain for the guys on the team!!! Way to go. Cause, It's part of the game. It's true, that when you can't think and learn the playbook… we'll fire you. But we'll recall what a tough guy you were, and give you a sympathy salute while your wife ties your shoelaces. The League can "fix" the convert, but can't deal with this horrendous problem? Remember a few years ago, when the NFL decided to deal with this? HUGE fines handed out to guys like that linebacker on the steelers, who got fined repeatedly till he stopped leading with his helmet. Eventually, players stopped doing it. Its not hard to stop this, once you decide to actually do something about it. rant over.
  18. Cato 146.4 QB rating/ he's good, and his teammates and coaches helped him a great deal. Except at opening kick off Calgary was at no point close in this game.
  19. Fun game to watch. Montreal Gazette "Cato’s job was made easier by the fact the Als, finally, discovered a running game and stuck with it. Tyrell Sutton was merely brilliant, gaining 134 yards on 25 carries. Montreal, it seems, hasn’t run the ball this much since the days of Mike Pringle. Of course, Sutton made the calls easier to make, the Als frequently in second and short yardage situations. “Run the ball. There you go,” Sutton said. “How many turnovers did we have? How many yards? When you run the ball it opens up the passing game.”
  20. Montreal slices up the Champs, next is us. Should be interesting.
  21. did they say montreal has all canadian o line?
  22. only to "watch the tape" after we lose to them next week.
  23. some people post at unusual times sometimes 1 am . night shift, got in late, or trouble sleeping I guess.
