Byron Archambault… I actually noticed this guy during one of the college playoffs a few months ago. Seemed to be very hard to handle.

The Wild Card race aka hockey's Final Four

I saw a bit of the game yesterday against the Kings.... I don't know if it means much, but Minnesota looked like a much better team. They swarmed in the King's end. Maybe... Parise senior died a few months ago, and the son is on a mission to honour his dad. -

Minnesota is looking like a stanley cup winner. -
The book goes into great detail about this man's criminal behaviour, a large, vicious bully, terrorizing rural folk, old people, shooting, stabbing, and stealing, to the point where I absolutely despised him. clearly not a surprise ending, but a very interesting story, well written.

This is a good book "In Broad Daylight: A Murder in Skidmore, Missouri " details the case of Ken Rex McElroy and his 21-year reign of terror throughout four counties in northwest Missouri, and the ultimate murder of McElroy, who was shot to death as he sat in his pickup truck on the main street of the town. Although there were more than 45 witnesses to the killing, and three grand juries considered the case, no one has been prosecuted for the killing." This guy walked out of the courthouse, after another in a long string of not guilty verdicts, and the townsfolk gunned him down. Nobody saw anything.

did the new commissioner resign already? and did maher replace him? sounds like a terrible idea if you ask me. must be someone better than Maher.

I thought he said he was concentrating on winning the games right now, and not thinking about anything other than that. Not much more than that. There was a lot of joking about Edmonton, his parents, living in Wisconsin, North Dakota, his folks benching him for bad grades at one point in his youth…..

Wasn't their o line pretty horrendous? Yes I think so; Burris had one half of a second before he was jumped on by two or three defenders.

fluke goal away from a tie, so why shouldn't the Jets win? some close shots have started going in for them instead of missing by a millimetre it seems to me.

or at least, if you're posting some kind of nasty rumour, get rid of the moniker and use your real name. Let's see somebody post one of these rumours using his or her real name. -
Since I think y'all aren't joking…(or at least I hope you aren't) He's black "New CFL commissioner Jeffery L, Orridge isn't focusing too much on the fact that he's the first black commissioner in North American pro sports"

I have read that Norway has close to a trillion dollars saved from oil revenue. Alberta also had the once in five hundred year flood… cost a lot of money… billions… "But the largest component of the province’s spending is its disaster relief program — which makes direct payments to individuals, organizations and small businesses for uninsured losses. A significant portion of those expenditures will ultimately be reimbursed by the federal government and Alberta has already asked for a $500-million advance from Ottawa. …Calgary herald

There seems to be real parity in the NHL. There are no easy wins, for any team. Not even the top teams This makes every game more interesting.
