Do you think Jets will make any trades now?

weren't the Jets winning more games before their injured players came back? -
Chris Matthews may not have punched his NFL ticket just yet ...
Mark F replied to IC Khari's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Gil Brandt NFL.com April 2014 NFL draft projections top fifty "1.Johnny Manziel QB, Texas A&M Previous rank: 1 Manziel (5-foot-11 3/4, 205 pounds) is a unique athlete who produced 10,000 yards of offense in two seasons with the Aggies. I had his 40 timed at 4.56 seconds at the combine. He's a very smart player and has great vision at quarterback." -
I don't really care which NFL team wins or loses, tried being a Vikings fan, but, gave up on that. I have gotten a kick out of following Bill and Tom over the years…. making a good team without much to work with. (one first round draft pick on their offence this year's team) I definitely much prefer watching the CFL. But I also really enjoy watching some of the spectacular throws, catches, runs, tackles, and so on that you see in an NFL game, and I think there might be a bit more coaching strategy at the top level of the NFL than we have. good thread.

Chris Matthews may not have punched his NFL ticket just yet ...

Not arguing here, but There are lots of small fast receivers in the NFL…. Steve Smith senior, Antonio Brown, Edelman, T.Y. Hilton, Broncos, Steelers, Eagles, Giants, all have a small fast guy…. and there are some big slow guys, like Boldin, 49ers, who gets open and catches everything. But I won't disagree about what you're saying about Chris Matthews. -

That alone seems like enough to play in the NFL doesn't it? and can't route running be learned? The Seahawks are very good at taking players that experts say are not good enough, (Richard Sherman) and training them to be more than good enough. And not rewarding Matthews for his great post season play would be out of character for that team. -
well i got the winning team right, wrong about everything else. that was a very entertaining game, glad seahawks didn't fluke off another undeserved win.

Patriots blow out the seahawks 1. seattle shouldn't be in this game, green bay should, they choked, and gave away that game. 2. Patriots have been pounding opponents this year, seahawks squeaking out wins 3. Brady v. Wilson, Brady is better. wilson 4 int, last game. belichick will not allow wilson to get outside. wilson will fumble, and throw int. brady will not. 4. Richard Sherman hurt. other defensive back, earl thomas? has injured shoulder. brady will exploit this weakness. 5. seahawks can be run on. relatively small defence…. patriots can run the ball 6. patriots running back blount ( and me) is /are tired of hearing about beast mode, and has a very big game 7. belichick will figure out something. 8. Brady and the patriots offence tired of bs ball inflation story, will pour it on. brady has lost two superbowls, wants to equal montana. will be more determined than ever. superbowls are often one sided, patriots win by at least 17 points. maybe a lot more.

That is perfect Jim Rome. His ability to do that, is actually pretty remarkable. Not saying it's interesting, but difficult, and distinctive. I used to dislike him but for reasons unknown to me, I now think he's funny... as are many of his weird callers. By far the funniest american sports talk guy is fox sports radio Ben Maller. (overnight) Winnipeg radio… the hockey play by play guy is good, and so are the post game duo. as far as 97.5…. hard rock is fringe music now. took a while but they finally managed to beat the grunge horse to death. But with what's legally available for free on the internet, there's no way radio can compete. radio is a dinosaur medium. It's on the way out. check out "grooveshark" for instance.

2 Weeks to FA - Atomic Top 5 NI Free Agents
Mark F replied to Atomic's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Yes, really well done by atomic. -
why do some of the Jets carry the puck out from behind their own goal, and cross right in front of their own net? Saw one goal against them result from that tonight.

thanks, great letter by Foley.

Do the Bombers REALLY sit on announcements?

I knew the kGB was evil, but this is far worse than anything I imagined. "Finally, the mystery is solved. How could the Soviet Union lose to the overmatched USA team in the Miracle on Ice? And why did Viktor Tikhonov pull the great Vladislav Tretiak? Former Detroit Red Wings defenseman Slava Fetisov blames the KGB.Fetisov — in the new documentary "Red Army," which is the subject of a feature in this week's Sports Illustrated — says then-CCCP coach Tikhonov was beholden to the KGB and favored Moscow Dynamo players such as goalie Vladimir Myshkin over Red Army players. http://www.freep.com/story/sports/nhl/red-wings/2015/01/21/miracle-on-ice-fetisov-kgb/22110995/

Look, I'm not saying they should be disqualified from the Super Bowl or anything. I understand that teams do what they can to gain an edge. But the Patriots have been caught twice now, so they should be punished accordingly. The rules are in place for a reason and if you don't enforce them then there is no point having them. Just because some teams get away with it doesn't mean that you don't punish the ones who get caught. They were cheating and they knew it so they deserve punishment. sorry, Atomic my comment was rude…. pretty sure you are right, they will be punished some way or other. blitzmore…. I actually don't care that they got caught. The only football team that I actually care about, is the Bombers….

People that think this is a big deal, live in some sports dreamworld . "The New England Patriots weren't the only team trying to steal signals during the time of the Spygate scandal. The Steelers were, too, former coach Bill Cowher said Wednesday. “The only thing they got caught (was) doing it with a camera,” Cowher told the radio station. “We had people that always tried to steal signals. Stealing someone's signals was a part of the game, and everyone attempted to do that.” Read more: http://triblive.com/sports/steelers/5423839-74/cowher-patriots-game#ixzz3PTXtIclb After they changed the ball, the Patriots continued to thrash the colts. They are a vastly better team in every way. complete nonsense.

lol that seems like a bit of an oversimplification. He's got his team to the wild card round, then the divisional round, then the conference championship in 3 seasons as the starting QB. Immediately following seasons of 0-16 and 2-14 before he arrived. Most teams would kill for that. Of course everyone looks like a dud if you are going to measure them against Tom Brady. you are right. it is… I get annoyed about andrew luck, since he's been anointed. very good points. but he's playing in a pretty bad division. I haven't checked, but I heard the other day that his record against teams with winning records is not good. and beating Peyton in the post season, appears to be not much of an accomplishment.

"ATLANTA (AP) -- Seattle's NFC championship game win won't stop the Atlanta Falcons from talking with Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn. Quinn's agent, Rick Smith, confirmed to The Associated Press on Sunday night the Falcons will have their second interview with Quinn on Monday." Yahoo sports, yesterday. there are others, I think. makes no sense.

I like watching patriots stomp other teams. Specially Luck, whose brilliance I am tired of hearing about, since to date after three years, it's produced nothing but stats. brady won Super Bowl first season. Maybe the stompings remind of when Kindly Cal did the same thing.

Two ex Bombers factor BIG in NFC championship game

seahawks players should give all their money to Marshawn Lynch. He was their whole team today,, on offence.

I agree.
-
so, two former bombers in this game, played big parts.
-
holy crap. one of the craziest games I've watched. three quarters of boredom, and fifteen minutes of nail biting.
