daily norseman review "I see no need to upgrade any starting personnel in the secondary. Our backups are solid too with Andrew Sendejo, Josh Robinson and Antone Exum all grading in the positive."

The Vikings are heading upwards. I Hope it's the Vikings. safety is a good guess, some secondary position. glad to hear this, great news.

make it happen. (snapping fingers) -
There is no discretion on that one.

reading comp….ok sorry, missed that. I haven't heard that one re CFL. There's so much gambling money riding on NFL games, and TV revenue, anything is possible. A friend pointed out, the match ups now are Brady v Flacco Rogers v Romo Wilson…. v. Newton Luck v. Manning TV/NFL financial dream.
-
No thank YOU for the laugh, if you actually think the CFL has been rigged for financial or other reasons.
-
also You're right. I won't be complaining about it any more. Some NFL fans think the game was rigged. I don't think we've ever had to wonder about that after a CFL game.
-
also, didn't see it, but have read that bryant 88 dallas ran on the field with no helmet on, to argue the call. no call.
-
Great referee work in the Dallas game. Even the sports talk crowd are having a tough time getting excited about those games. bengals 158 yards passing.

Over and out.

good point about the field size.

"Multiple police, FBI, cyber analyst sources are confirming that the focus of the FBI’s investigation has moved from North Korea to Los Angeles. A LAPD officer and FBI agent confirmed that the Bureau is no longer looking at a North Korean angle for the Sony leak but have moved to an insider group working with outsider help. http://gotnews.com/exclusive-breaking-fbi-inquiry-moved-los-angeles-involves-hacker-group-lulsec/ also…."An investigation into the massive breach at Sony has focused on a group of at least six individuals that may have worked to compromise the company’s networks, including at least one ex-employee who had the technical background and system knowledge to carry out the attack." Darkmatters or "This week, prominent San Mateo, Calif., cybersecurity firm Norse Corp. — whose clients include government agencies, financial institutions and technology companies — briefed law enforcement officials on evidence it collected that pointed toward an inside job. "We can't find any indication that North Korea either ordered, masterminded or funded this attack," Kurt Stammberger, a senior vice president at Norse, said in an interview with The Times." But yeah, sanction North Korea. Why not.

I follow the NFL, and I enjoy it, cause of the skill of the players, but watching some of these games just makes it more obvious why I would rather watch the CFL. No matter how many rules changes they make to help the offence, it's still low scoring, and kind of dull. Bengals have 60 odd yards of offence since the first quarter of their game. Yawn The space that a quarterback has to fit a ball into to complete as pass is tiny, in the NFL. The one thing they really need to do, is make the field, bigger, including the end zone. I'm sure lots of people have seen an NFL field. I saw one for the first time last summer…. I was amazed at how small it is. Course they will not do that. Same goes for NHL, the rink should be made bigger, too hard to complete a pass, or make a nice move around someone, players are bigger, and there's not enough space.

Heard that the ninety one year old matriarch of the family that owns the bears is still involved in the decision making. that makes no sense if it's true.

I heard a radio guy discussing you're last paragraph, he said something similar, also mentioned that Ohio State was supposed to be getting beat up, when in fact, without two turnovers, they absolutely killed Alabama which is supposed to be near pro level defence. running back got two hundred and fifty or so yards against them. "Alabama hardly looked like the defensive powerhouse that coach Nick Saban is used to sending out, giving up 537 yards to the Buckeyes. Elliott scored on a 3-yard run with 2:55 left in first half to spark the comeback, and he wound up averaging a staggering 11.5 yards on 20 carries to earn the award as the most outstanding offensive player. "He's probably the most underrated back in the United States," Meyer said."

and….. that was a Great game. score 59 to 20? at one point, I thought it was fixed. pass interference on number 35 in the end zone, he was grabbed, and tackled, referee right there, no call. I'm sure some people think that was a turning point. The next game was exciting, but sure shows the difference between NFL, CFL, and college, even the top level college football. How did Ohio state let them back in the game with a touchdown in about twenty seconds at the end? fun game though

Wasn't Hall's defence in Edmonton really good? Seem to remember that. -
And Here We Thought Jay Cutler Was A Tool. Then There's Johnny Manziel
Mark F replied to iso_55's topic in General Discussion
I listen sometimes, to kfan on 740 Fargo, or 710 Bismark, from nine till noon, it's hosted by the Vikings radio play by play guy. Lot of Vikings and NFL discussion. Sometimes pretty funny. This AM they were discussing Captain, thought he had some good some bad games, and will be back, last chance with Vikings next season. They also are familiar with the CFL. and not negatively. cause of Bud I suppose. Manziel needs amongst other things, to spend a lot of time in the weight room. He's small and weak, compared for instance to Russell Wilson, who is really solid. as is Briese. Already last night, after his little speech a few days ago… Manziel was getting hammered in Miami bar, making an ass of himself. The sooner he's gone the better. Imagine what Warner, arena league player, who scratched his way to the hall of fame, thinks of this fool. -

yes, And it would be great to see Ian Wild starting in the secondary for the Vikings…. I think they are not satisfied with some of their secondary players. -
Supposedly interviewed at ESPN about a television gig already as well. I think they would just offer him a job, he's really entertaining.

Mike, you love manziel? why? I've never seen a more dislikable player. Did you see the picture of him in the bathroom in Vegas? yeah, great guy. as far as football is concerned, he's too weak, too small, too slow, (can't outrun NFL linebackers) can't throw, doesn't understand the playbook, can't read a defence, can't take a hit, (lasted one and one quarter games, before getting hurt) bad footwork, bad decision making, bad influence. Even I knew that before he was drafted. Why couldn't the Browns figure it out? Merrill Hoge was also right about Tim Tibow. One of the few sports talk guys that said Tibow was not an NFL quarterback. The media has somebody they hype every year in the states. this year it was this guy. first comment at the link said it all "He might as well throw a party. He sure as hell can't throw a football." Hope we never see this ass in the CFL. Rebuilding his ruined career. Please do not bring this person to the CFL. After Bridgewater "fell" cause he had one bad day, I saw an interview with Kurt Warner, who does not B.S. He said "the eye in the sky does not lie" he watched a lot of tape for teddy bridgewater, and Kurt said he was certainly the best quarterback of the bunch. and now they're all saying that. Zimmer, coach of the Vkings really like Teddy, and I believe that Zimmer does not B.S. either. -
Great buddy ryan ditka stories. last week the jets gave the patriots everything they could ask for, the Pats barely beat the jets. When they still needed the win. Jets defence is really something, specially defensive line.

wonder where Rex Ryan will go? Heard on the radio, 670Chicago, he has already asked for the Chicago job. Think his dad was the Super Bowl winning bears coach. He'd be stuck with another crap quarterback there. for a year or so anyway.
