  1. Have you got anything to demonstrate that this is accurate? Have you got anything to demonstrate that this is accurate? It's just my opinion based on his actions and the things that he says. can you mention some of his actions, and some of the things he said that you base your opinion on?

  4. I think the entire cast of the next terminator movie should be former, and future California governors. dialogue I predict will be important Arnold: "you're terminated" audiences erupt in cheers in movie houses around the world. ….I left the vulgar part out.
  5. Is Arnold in this? and someone wants to see it? wow. let me make a bold prediction it will feature lots of blowing stuff up, fireworks, car chases, shootouts between robots, and humans barely escaping a killer robot to save humanity. one of the robots will be a hot chick robot. but mean. no.

  7. Yes, the excitement is building. The tension is palpable. the fans' nerves are frayed beyond repair. If you, mbrg and me, and others thinking the wailing and hair pulling is bad now, wait till they announce etch is back for another year. are the site servers ready?
  8. no conspiracy? you might be wrong Nov 28 "(Reuters) - Saudi Arabia's oil minister told fellow OPEC members they must combat the U.S. shale oil boom, arguing against cutting crude output in order to depress prices and undermine the profitability of North American producers. Ali al-Naimi won the argument at Thursday's meeting, against the wishes of ministers from OPEC's poorer members such as Venezuela, Iran and Algeria which had wanted to cut production to reverse a rapid fall in oil prices. They were not prepared to offer big cuts themselves, and, choosing not to clash with the Saudis and their rich Gulf allies, ultimately yielded to Naimi's pressure. "Naimi spoke about market share rivalry with the United States. And those who wanted a cut understood that there was no option to achieve it because the Saudis want a market share battle," said a source who was briefed by a non-Gulf OPEC minister after Thursday's meeting." "Secretary General Abdullah al-Badri effectively confirmed OPEC was entering a battle for market share. Asked on Thursday if the organization had a answer to rising U.S. production, he said: "We answered. We keep the same production. There is an answer here". I guess it's not a conspiracy when it's so openly stated.
  9. They would be right. They just don't realize that our problem is O'shea's stubbornness, (he's on the clock now) Etch's defences, and Marcel. and the O line. and small linebackers. almost forgot, Walters, doing nothing. Oh and the power struggle. Too much to keep track of. jeeze, forgot, unfair treatment of duressler.
  10. Riley was the only reason I cheered for Oregon State. That, and cheering for the underdog. Now what? Cheer for the Huskies? Yeesh. when I was a child, I lived in Vancouver B.C. I used to wander around the UBC campus a bit. and I remember seeing the Huskies players practising, up to play the UBC Thunderbirds. very exciting for a small feller. That's all I got. who does Marriota play for? heard he's not bad.
  11. right now, the bombers appear to be the team with the best all round quarterback situation. that's something.
  12. elsewhere here, we have a page after page thread about what racism is and isn't. what being gay is and isn't. and here we have an informative thread about somebody actually doing something useful and important about one of those things… crickets. I do not understand the internets
  13. Hockey night in Canada, saturday night. Murray Westgate Beliveau, it looked like the puck was connected to his stick by a string. He could stand still, they couldn't get it away from him. one of my favourite players.
  14. you are welcome.
  15. looks like a good one. also Robynjt, do not miss "Broadchurch" thoroughly brilliant, completely depressing detective story starring David Tennant. My wife, an aficionado of detective novels and tv, really likes "the killing" which is on netflix, although again, she stopped watching cause it was so depressing. I've seen some of it, very good acting.
  16. Danny Barrett? I thought they ran him out of town in sask.
  17. "George Gently" is an outstanding British detective series set in the sixties. flawed characters, interesting plots, good cinematography and settings, and very good acting. it's on netflix. another good one not one netflix is whitechappel. I think I've had my absolute fill of zombie/vampire/werewolf movies, and tv shows. except…. the comedy "zombieland" with woody harrelson. very funny.
  18. think I'll stick to football from now on
  19. a little over fifty years ago, blacks were regularly strung up from trees, for things like going out with a white woman. in 1963 white racists blew up a church with a bunch of little black girls in it, the kids all died. a few years or so ago, cops in New York gunned down an unarmed black bridegroom on his wedding night. He was doing nothing. they shot him a hundred or so times. a few years ago a black kid in texas was hooked up and dragged behind a car, till he died. The police wanted to say it was hit and run. Colin Powell, Secretary of Defence for Bush, has been racially profiled. A black harvard professor was arrested going into his own home. Cops broke into an old black guy's apartment in New York last year, as a result of a screw up on a medical alert. A false alarm. He told them he was ok, and told them to go away. they broke in anyway, and tasered him to death. He was doing nothing. unarmed innocent man returning from dinner gunned down. "The Shooting of Amadou Diallo occurred on February 4, 1999, when Amadou Diallo, a 23-year-old immigrant from Guinea, was shot and killed by four New York City Police Department plain-clothed officers: Sean Carroll, Richard Murphy, Edward McMellon and Kenneth Boss, who fired a combined total of 41 shots, 19 of which struck Diallo, outside his apartment at 1157 Wheeler Avenue in the Soundview section of The Bronx. The four were part of the now-defunct Street Crimes Unit. All four officers were charged with second-degree murder and acquitted at trial in Albany, New York.[1] get m sam for the bombers!!!
  20. hello?
  21. wouldn't it be a "slag" watch? letting the players play is moronic. "he put the whistle in his pocket" I heard that the hockey in the days of the Flin Flon bombers/Bobby Clark was usually a bloodbath. Never went to a game, so I don't know.
  22. One of my favourite sites, great posters and commenters, friendly bunch. I get a lot of laughs from the comments. The football opinions are great. sometimes informative. pretty sure I understand etch now. But a bit more discussion would really clear it up for me. I can't think of anything to suggest for improvement. Thanks a lot to you people that run things, , and to the people that post and comment.
  23. Here's a ramification. also, according to the article, shipping rate has doubled. another impediment to north american exports of oil. All, bad for Alberta and parts of the Canadian economy. pitfall of a resource based economy, but let's hope this doesn't last. Who knows what the Saudis are up to. "(Reuters) - An aggressive strategy by Mideast Gulf producers to exploit the lowest oil prices in five years to defend market share is showing signs of bearing fruit as U.S. crude exports to Asia grind to halt. Asian refineries have suspended imports of condensate, a light crude oil produced from the U.S. shale boom, just four months after they began in favour of cheaper Middle East grades, according to trade and industry sources." http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/12/01/us-usa-asia-crude-idUSKCN0JF2D920141201
