coaches love guys that play when they're hurt. admirable I guess, but maybe expecting players to play through injuries isn't always a good idea.

If he's healthy, why not? He busted his butt when the team stunk. and he was really good.

That was answered in preseason though, there's no need to ask the question again because the answer hasn't changed. MOS is the voice of the team and he is going to provide one consistent message. You can argue the validity of that philosophy all you like but that's the way it is with oshea and bringing it up again isn't going to change anything so why waste time at a press conference asking it again? Outside of Doug Brown, I haven't read a single article in either newspaper this year. I'd speculate that there's only one reason why reporters want to talk to assistants and players… to create controversy. Their primary job is to sell their owners product to advertisers. controversy sells papers. I'd imagine the assistants are more than happy with this arrangement where they don't have talk to reporters. I know I like it.

I thought Brohm looked pretty good, and he did one thing Willy does not do, he threw the ball away, when he had to. did that a few times. Willy would have been sacked, and pounded. part of the pounding he's been taking is due to him for unknown reasons not throwing the ball away when there's no other choice.

Was at the game and yup, bang on. All day, that's on the coach. Part of the problem was that it was so obvious when this was being done. If I can see it watching on the tube, Reilly must be laughing. Don Mathews used to do it, but I think it was disguised more than this was. and for some reason it worked over and over again, for years.

I heard, must have been a post game show, that there are fourteen o lineman on the bombers right now. So obviously the team is concerned about that. can remember who said it. If there are fourteen, the guys we have are probably trying their best, and just aren't good enough. If we have a three hour brawler, (Anderson) let's have a look.

why were the running pass plays at the end of the game, with a minute or less to go? the coach likes Romby Bryant? Romby got killed on the second last, totally meaningless play of the game. absolutely drilled. He barley got up. I guess we'll hear if he can still play. doing anything other than running out the clock was absolutely stupid, and pointless. why were they doing that? to see who's a quitter? they should have known who was and wasn't before that. did not like that at all. why is there no, zero, none whatsoever blocking on the short sideline passes. I mean none. Our receivers have looked at blocking, and decided that they don't do that kind of thing as far as I can see.

fumble. wonder what percentage of wrong calls have gone sask way this year? can't just run the ball. how long till sask changes qb? next fumble or pick, and he's out. maybe Kerry plays.

I recall that when Joseph had a tough time in Edmonton, their Oline was bad, and he was getting killed as soon as he got the ball. kind of like what's happening here. He might be better than people think with a decent line.

I heard a comment by someone, Bob maybe, that January was playing hurt. Maybe he's been playing hurt much of the year. The comment was that he has a back problem as I recall.
