This game was a complete beat down. I keep reading that the players arent as good as some people think. I dont know, but they are definitely good enough to be a playoff team. probably not one thing, but a combination of two or three things. Some player move mistakes, some coaching shortfalls, and some players being selfish, slack, and not very good. I wish somebody could explain in non inside hockey language, why the defence is so crappy. listless, no hitting, leaving goalie alone, lots of stick flailing, cant reliably pass out of their own end, often losing puck battles, clueless about where to be.
