Which greenhouse gas would you rather discuss? Methane maybe? Much more potent than co2. Sadly, also a byproduct of oil production. "It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends upon his not understanding it." U. sinclair.

"On March 3, as Russian military forces bombed Ukrainian cities as part of Vladimir Putin’s illegal invasion of his neighbor, the Kremlin sent out talking points to state-friendly media outlets with a request: Use more Tucker Carlson. “It is essential to use as much as possible fragments of broadcasts of the popular Fox News host Tucker Carlson," https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2022/03/exclusive-kremlin-putin-russia-ukraine-war-memo-tucker-carlson-fox/

Ah..now i get it. I didnt see her explanation. Thanks. just looked ....James Brown in in 86. Not even remotely rock.
-
You are right, Nothing, but I think they gave up on that a while ago. I would be shocked if whitney isnt in there. eg.... Probably michael jackson is in, and he is not rock. Dont know, are the funk bands in? James brown probably is.

I She wrote "I will always love you, " and I think just for that should be in the rock and roll hall,of fame. "Whitney Houston recorded a rendition of the song for the 1992 film The Bodyguard. Houston's single spent 14 weeks at the number-one spot of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, setting a new record at the time, becoming one of the best-selling singles of all time,[2] and the best-selling single by a woman.[3][4] The song has been recorded by many other artists including Linda Ronstadt,[5]John Doe,[6] Amber Riley, LeAnn Rimes[7] and Sarah Washington, whose dance version reached number 12 on the UK Singles Chart." Dolly seems modest, and doesn't want any awards. Aside from this, she is one of the finest public figures we've got.

Deripaska: "The Trump administration announced late last year it intended to lift sanctions on Deripaska’s companies, despite strong opposition from Democrats and some Republicans in Congress. The treasury department had imposed the sanctions on Deripaska and several of his companies in tandem with seven Russian oligarchs, 12 companies they owned or controlled, and 17 Russian government officials, for “malign activity” which included “attempting to subvert western democracies, and malicious cyber-activities”. Treasury’s decision to lift sanctions on Deripaska was always suspect. In mid-January, Senate Democrats, joined by 11 Republicans, attempted to override Mnunchin and keep sanctions in place. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) even laid out the math: But Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell held together a coalition of 42 Republicans, including erstwhile Russia hawks Mitt Romney (R-UT) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC), to keep the lifting of sanctions on track." moscow mitch. He can slither away, his voters are not too bright.

If you are thinking of voting for a Conservative, in Canada, realize that they are coming for your healthcare. they will never give up this goal. "In many ways, the long-running battle to save Medicare from privatization is a battle for the soul of Canada. And it’s a battle that’s about to heat up. On one side are a large number of Canadians, for whom Medicare stands out like a sparkling jewel — a nationwide system dedicated to the proposition that access to health care be based on need, not money. On the other side are some highly organized, right-wing groups that object in principle to collective, egalitarian solutions like Medicare. Among these well-funded groups are the Fraser Institute and the Canadian Constitutional Foundation, a fiercely anti-government organization that raises funds for court challenges to Medicare." https://rabble.ca/columnists/long-banned-in-ontario-private-hospitals-could-soon-reappear/ There are people in power, and people with money and influence, who loath our healthcare system.

Another reason to get off oil "The government of Saudi Arabia has executed 81 people—including seven Yemenis and a Syrian national—over the past 24 hours in what is believed to be the largest mass execution in the kingdom's history. Citing the country's interior ministry, the Wall Street Journalreported Saturday that most of those executed were Saudis. "We cannot show our revulsion for Putin's atrocities by rewarding those of the Crown Prince." "More than half were from the minority Shiite Muslim population," the Journal added. "The interior ministry didn't disclose how the men were killed. Executions in the past have involved beheading by sword in the kingdom, which remains among the world's top executioners despite recent efforts to curb the use of the death penalty. There are prisoners of conscience on Saudi death row, and others arrested as children or charged with non-violent crimes. We fear for every one of them following this brutal display of impunity." common dreams

Biden is building a charging network. the gas powered car industry would not have thrived without the road and highway systems built and paid for by governments everywhere. Canadian governments are definitely bringing up the rear on this. also February 17, 2022 by Charles Morris "A two-year-old Michigan startup, Our Next Energy (ONE), has built a custom battery pack that recently propelled a modified Tesla Model S for 752 miles. John Voelcker, writing in Car and Driver, reports that ONE retrofitted the car with a pack that stores twice the energy of Tesla’s original, and fits in exactly the same space." https://evannex.com/blogs/news/startup-retrofits-a-tesla-model-s-with-a-750-mile-battery-pack cleantechnica has a lot of info about ev https://cleantechnica.com/2022/03/10/do-electric-cars-have-enough-range-should-tesla-increase-range-to-gas-car-levels/

2 jets, 2 islanders ... islanders get the puck. Score. think this one is over.

Brandolini's law, also known as the bullshit asymmetry principle, is an internet adage that emphasizes the difficulty of debunking false, facetious, or otherwise misleading information, especially in comparison to the difficulty of creating the misinformation in the first place.[1] It states that "The amount of energy needed to refute bullshit is an order of magnitude larger than is needed to produce it." also "Gish gallop." standard approach of climate change skeptics. also.."alternative facts" 😂

Things Conservatives are very good at: 1. Ignoring government spending, deficit, debt, when in power. 2. Shouting about it when out of power. 3. Being unable to comprehend this inconsistency. Remember **** cheney ? "Deficits dont matter" Should have finished the sentence with "when im doing the spending" harper deficits were very large. Same Manitoba conservatives. manitoba ndp under doer had a balanced budget. its not the spending they care about. Its who gets the money. See: Trump. They do not want some of the government spending. They want all of it.

The devils look good to me. They have a goalie problem. "The New Jersey Devils are finally showing some signs of optimism. Despite a record of 4-5 during the month of February, the Devils led the entire NHL in goals per 60 minutes with 4.47. "The New Jersey Devils have had a lot of trouble with goalies this season. They’ve been forced to start six different goalies this season. Mackenzie Blackwood, Jonathan Bernier, Nico Daws, Scott Wedgewood, Akira Schmid, and John Gillies all got a chance to play this year. Blackwood has had to hold the fort together after Bernier was knocked out for the entire year after getting hip surgery. The Devils traded for Jon Gillies to tide them over since they lost Scott Wedgewood to the Arizona Coyotes. ."

Weak Jets passing to get the puck out of own end. Whole second period looks like devils have a man advantage.
