What the riders will be gifted a win? ******* sucks!
-
Where the “neither” option?
-
Are we 2 - 6? What team that’s 6 - 2 even thinks about getting rid of their OC or their starting QB? We sound like rider fans.

It's time to hand the ball to Streveler.

It’s amazing how so many of us become armchair QB’s and believe we know better than an professional football player. Plus you’re looking at a replay on tv vs having to make a split second decision on the field. It’s amazing how knowledgeable some of us are. -
How dare you use solid stats to prove your point.

Penalties at some inopportune times killed some momentum. We had the turnover on downs and we got an interference penalty.

We won and I’m not going to kill my high over useless talk of how Nichols should be benched for streveler. I’m going to enjoy it.

Losing jephcoat is a huge hit to the dline. We have no one to replace him without experiencing a drop in play. Why aren’t we using whitehead as our returner?

Special teams in the first 5 games gave our offence a shorter field and made for a longer field for the opposition. The last 2 games they’ve not played as well and our starting field position has proved that. I hope that Ritchie has coached those mental errors out of his players. It’s going to be a tough game but if we can limit our errors on both defence and on offence. This is a winnable game. Lapo and Ritchie need to call a near perfect game but the execution must be there as well. Hoping for a victory but I’m not going to jump off a bridge if we lose. There 10 more games left and lots of time to get things right.

The first 5 games we saw the best of Lapo, the best of the ST's and a defence that held the opponents to a ridiculous low amount of points. The last 2 games Lapo lost his creativity and didn't properly utilize our offensive weapons. Where we this sweeps with Lucky? We didn't even try to stretch the field. ST's which played lights out, allowed a ridiculous amount of return yards last night. The defence made some plays last night but allowed way too many yards on the ground and let MBT complete too many short to mid range passes. Oh and couldn't make a stop in the red zone. Everyone contributed to the loss last night just like everyone contributed to the wins. The sky's not falling but with the other teams in the west (other than BC) winning. I can now start to feel the heat.

Love Harris but definitely don't feel bad for him. His fumble took at least 3 points off the board and when we needed a first down near the end to close out the game he couldn't get it done. I know this wont be popular and yes he put up some huge yards. But I was really looking for him at the end of the game when we were still up by 6 to help the offence stay on the field and close out the game.

We may have the next OC and he's already with the team. Buck Pierce was one of the most cerebral QB's. His body gave out on him but he still has a great QB mindset.

I'm not going to argue every point because I can't but a couple stand out and require context. Sure the Riders, Stamps and Allouettes have had some success with their back up QB but that's only due to a significant injury to their starter. This was not a situation where a starter was playing poorly and a decision was made to go with the other guy. BIG difference. So you want the team to fire O'Shea? Why? Because he doesn't blow up like Maas on the sidelines? Because he doesn't sound like a whiney ***** like Dickenson? Because he doesn't coach like you want him too? Because he wears hoodies and not some buttoned down shirt? Osh isn't perfect but he's a good coach and if he was fired. He'd be scooped up before he even got to his car with his box of personal belongings. Please tell me which QB this season has been pulled and replaced with the exception of an injury replacement?

In the time that the ball placement challenge on 3rd downs has been in place. I can't remember a coach winning one. It would have had to be so flagrant to be overturned. With the game so close Osh probably felt he'd keep it for something more challengable. I'm not saying he shouldn't have but I understand why he didn't.
