I have been all over our scouting staff to come up with a big play receiver for the past few years. I've wanted McManus fired and a complete revamp of our scouting staff. But they finally found a couple of good receivers that can stretch the field but actually catch the ball as well. Things are looking up!

I don’t really care about the broadcast team. You take the good with the bad. I’m just happy that every games in tv. I remember a time when sure the broadcast crew was much better but we only saw 5 - 6 Bomber games a year on tv.

Just wait till our first loss. Some posters here will implode.

Friday night during the summer in Winnipeg are always a tough sell. Many many years ago my buddies and I would go to the game and then drive out to the cottage at Winnipeg beach after the game. The driver would limit himself to 4 beers at the game but the rest would go all out. In todays world you just dont do that plus more and more people have cottages in Ontario which is a longer drive and not one that many would want to do after a game. The crowd was disappointing but not surprising. Winnipeg is like a ghost town when the weather is nice on a summer weekend.

O'Shea was questioned after the game about pulling Nichols and some other regulars. He said that he was ready to pull the plug on some of his starters in the 3rd quarter but he felt that the Argos were starting to build up some momentum. Thus he kept them in a bit longer till he got comfortable that the Argo ship was not resurfacing. Coaches decision and quite frankly this seems to be a trend in the CFL these days.

Many people here previously hated Lapo's dink and dunk offence. Posters here were saying Nichols can't complete the deep ball. We're never happy.

I'm honestly trying to think of a game where a team played "60 minutes" and I can't think of one. The other team is getting paid to play as well.

It's tough in an entire football game to play at a 100 miles an hour throughout the whole game. Their are going to be 2 and outs, interceptions and missed plays.

I think our next QB is Sean McGuire. Better arm than streveler and seemed to handle the pressure quite well.

It’s nice to see some good offensive production in the first half. Past seasons we were inept in the first quarter and the 2nd wasnt much better. These good starts are integral to our 3-0 start. Let’s keep it going.
