Watching the game and seeing how the play calling changed after Nichols exited the game. I wondered if it changed because the team doesn't have the confidence in Streveler to throw the ball downfield. But I also see Streveler abandon the passing opportunity too quickly and take off.

I wasn't aware of the rule change and was confused as many after the call. I agree and I wonder if teams will now focus on the return formation vs. going for the block.

It's interesting how this place has changed in the past couple of years. We used to celebrate victories to the point it would almost and i said almost reflect what you might see at RF.com. But without some of the over the top crap that goes on in that place. I can't tell whats changed. Maybe it's a new crop of posters who just can't enjoy the win but must find something negative to counter balance the positive. it reminds me of a boss I had when I was first starting out. He would shake your hand and give you a compliment but slap you across the head with the other. I asked him why one day after some liquid courage and he said he didn't want his people to get too comfortable or feel too safe. At that time I knew that would never be my management style but he felt it was necessary. After a win I choose to dwell on the positive. Even after a 50 - 0 win you could still find a negative or two but whats the benefit to that? With all the **** going on in the world. Sports is what makes us smile and feel good especially after our team wins. I have no problem discussing something that was overwhelmingly bad or a poor decision but to pick on the minutiae of the win. Thats just a waste.

To get back to the topic at hand. I’m looking at Mathews to have his break out game tonight. Also predicting 2 sacks for Jefferson.

Just smoked the weeds and waiting for the munchies to kick in. 😀 Back in the old days I found pizza pops to be a great munchie food. Today I have a more refined palette. It’s french bread and a nice soft cheese. 😋 There used to be a place on the highway at Winnipeg beach that actually deep fried them. After the 3rd degree burns on the top of your mouth they were quite enjoyable. And they were only two blocks away from the cottage. But back in those days you didn’t care. Lets go Big Blue!!!!!!!

Come on! He's talking about putting in a 1-2 QB vs. a proven vet. Again he had a bad game but come on. I'm willing to have a discussion about QB'ing but in what world do you pull your starter and put in a unproven QB who hasn't shown that he can pass in a passing league.

trust me if Streveler proved he can be the #1. I'd be the first one to call for him to start. But you're all dreaming that he's better than Nichols. Listening to many of you. You'd think we're talking about a QB who's won more than 1 game.

Once again the fans have this unqualified infatuation with the unproven back up QB.

please tell me what Streveler has done to take Nichols job? Right now all I've seen is a glorified running back who stands behind the Centre.

Lets see...our QB is 2-0 and I believe we have the best redzone percentage in the league. This is what you get with Nichols and you all know it. But every time he has a sub par game. The same posters come out and **** all over him.

Question...Will there be professional football in 50 years from now? I personally believe that unless there are significant improvements to equipment or we move to a non hitting league. Football will be eventually fade away due to future liability to the league, owners and a dropping registration. I've heard from younger parents who wont let their kids play football because of the prospect of brain injury. I know other sports have brain injury problems but football leads the way. Discus... .

That sucks! Can the league put Lawrence on the 6 game suspended list? I know I'm dreaming but it would be nice to see the league take a stance here and doll out a significant suspension.
