So is everyone willing to give the coaching staff a free pass next season if we go 5 - 13 with Streveler as the starter?

Getting rid of Nicholls without knowing what you have in Streveler. Is like quitting your job before you have another one. You may have grand illusions that you'll find your perfect job right away but if you can't you usually end up taking jobs that don't necessarily like until the perfect one comes around.

They thought they did. Just like many of you believe as well. Streveler has shown me nothing to prove he's ready to be a starter. All I see today is a one dimensional QB. And if he cant make the play with his feet. The probability of success is greatly diminished. He needs more time to learn how to read defences and make plays with his arm.

Maybe tandem isn't the right word but the thought of Augustine spelling off Harris and saving some wear and tear is a promising prospect.

1) Lankford - who would of thought 2) Streveler - exciting to watch but is going to need a lot more work before he's a starter 3) Augustine - I just get excited thinking about him and Harris working as a tandem. He's got power but the speed that Harris doesn't have HH) Harris - got the rushing title and did it in a definitive way

the offensive play calling reminds me of what we saw during the 4 game losing streak. We're also seeing that Streveler is having a hard time reading and reacting to the blitz.

All games are meaningful. I'd hate to get blown out entering the playoffs.

Lankford has a strong leg

I see the need to protect our starters but we really should field a lineup that gives us a chance to win.

I assume Medlock is doing the kicking and Lankford will handle the punting duties.

Why would they sit Medlock? Is he injured? Makes no sense to me.

This deal may have been the reason we didn't make a play before the trade deadline last week. Gray could be a long time player for us vs. short term solution at receiver.

Arm strength or lack of is really a moot point as long as Lapo is our OC. ☹️

So Streveler played the entire 4th quarter. What did he do to prove that he's better than Nicholls? I saw a interception and an inability to move the ball downfield. Now don't get me wrong. I really like Streveler but Nicholls is still my choice for starting QB.

Welcome! Most don't agree with you though. Many here want Nicholls thrown out with the garbage and Streveler anointed as our 1st stringer.

Not trying to take credit away from Hall but I believe the players and leaders on Defence have significantly stepped up and improved their on field play. During the 4 game losing streak, even Bighill's play was not what it is now. And I would include other players in that as well, such as JSK, Alexander, Nevis and Loffler. But the last 4 games or more I've seen the defensive players take ownership of their own performance. Even before the current winning streak the defence was playing well and if the offence was just a bit better we'd probably be talking a couple more wins. Keep Hall...Fire Lapo

You really have to look at the enormity of what happened yesterday. It's very rare that a team gets shutout especially in the CFL.

True enough but if you look at past gameday threads. Especially for games were we came out on the wrong side. Most of the messages come after the game ends. But definitely a viable argument.

Wow...The Bandit has been conspicuously absent lately. Not man enough to come by after the game and offer his congratulations to the team that just shut out his team.

It's interesting that after a win where we blank our most hated rival that the gameday thread is only at 6 pages so far. However, if we'd lost. I think I'm not to far off when I say that the gameday thread would be at least 12 pages if not 15 by now. What does that say about us fans?
