So...has anyone changed their mind about Richie Hall's defence? I was never as hard on him as others on here have been but even I'm impressed how it's turned around. So now I'm turning my efforts on getting Lapo fired. 😆
-
That might get him banished from the province. Lucky bastard!

I’m not sure he’ll be fired this off season. I think he’ll be given another season to turn it around. The only way I see him get fired is if the players mount a mutiny. There are rumours that his Schtick is getting old with the players.

I had to work so I missed most of the game. Did he go ballistic on Gatorade bucket?
-
I’d be surprised if Lapo gets any head coach interest. To me he’s not head coach material.
-
Has Maas fired himself yet? That was a horrendous offensive effort tonight. No TD's in 2 straight games. Reilly looks like he's got a bad case of the Willy's.
-
BLM must think he’s playing in the Grey Cup. 😎

Edibles wont be available for another year 😪

Yes...this team doesn't help us old guys that are closer to a massive coronary everyday. This is bad but I'm starting to record games now vs. watching them live. Then watching them after I know the outcome. It's just easier that way and my wife doesn't shake her head when she hears me yelling and swearing at the tv.

We were out for dinner last night so I PVR'd the game and started watching it once I knew the outcome. I'm glad you noticed it too because I rewatched the linesman over and over again and he initially makes the mark with his foot and then lifts it and moves it about 6 to 8 inches up the field. You can even see him take a look at the sideline to see where the first down marker is. That's the most emotion I've seen from Osh in awhile.

What do you call that way of thinking? Almost as ridiculous as your buddy "Doublezero".

What...no love for Medlock?

I met Bill Frank when I was a teenager (many many years ago). He lived on Scotia St and my family lived on Smithfield Ave in West K. I think he worked at one of the marine dealerships in Winnipeg as he always had the best boat on the river. My best friend lived a few doors down from him and we always hung out on the river. Bill came by one day and gave us a ride on his boat. That thing was fast and he created a wake that probably took out a few of the old docks along the river. I also went to school with his son. I think it was Edmund Partridge but for the life of me I can't remember his son's name.

Stop using facts to prove your point. It’s confusing to some. 😁

The defence played the best game that I can remember in a long time. But I'm not as hard on the offence as some of you are. I'm going to leave stats out of the conversation and just look at game management. Yes Lapo called a conservative and yes boring game. He was more interested in ball control and moving the ball downfield. But what impressed me was in the 4th quarter we needed to pound the ball and kill the clock. There was one series where we had success running the ball and converting on 2nd down. But most importantly we killed over 6 minutes off the clock. Unfortunately we turned the ball over on the turnover deep in esks territory. Nichols threw the ball low to minimize the chance of the turnover but the defender just made a great play. Not a great game by the offence but not as bad as many of you are making it out to be.

Most coaches don't take out alot of their starters. Especially when the team is winning. Everyone thinks Harrris is playing injured. Well of course! Every player is injured but the game plan was to finish the 4th quarter with an extremely conservative pound the ball on the ground effort. And who best to do that? O'Shea takes a lot of crap for not taking out his starters but it's not wrong. Look at Dave Dickenson. He hardly ever takes out BLM if the games been decided. His opinion is that his starters are paid to play 60 minutes and they also deserve to finish the game they started. I have no issue with leaving in the starters.
