During Nicholls post game interview he said that he looked for his receivers today and none of them were open.

Milt is crucifying Nicholls during the BC/Sask halftime show. he said he threw his receivers under the bus today and that he should shut his mouth and just play football.

This is not a slight against Harris but with him as our only option on the ground makes it easy for the D to scheme against him. He's one dimensional. he can't run sideline to sideline. His success is running up the middle into the gut of the D. He'll never beat you with his speed but bowl you over. But if he can't get a block or two he's pretty much useless. We need a tandem with him and a smaller tailback guy with some explosive speed. Last year we had a pretty good one two punch with Flanders and him.

Wow...I'm a little surprised by the level of criticism on here tonight directed at Nichols. No he didn't play well and some of his decisions were questionable but some of you are taking it a bit too far. The reaction after the game is something we'd see from Rider fans and we'd be universally condemning them over it. So now we're no better than Rider fans. Yes the fans were booing Nichols. Anyone who says differently is kidding themselves. How do you know what was going on in the heads of the other fans? Even if the fans were directing their boos at Osh. It was indirectly aimed at Nichols. Now Nichols should keep his trap uafter the game and turn off his phone. Tweeeting after a loss is never a good idea and even worse is calling out the fans who just shelled out a lot of money to watch. But we as fans need to temper our emotions as well. Nichols is 4-2 this season and everyone wants a rookie QB to replace him that's won 1 game. Sounds very Rideresque. We're better than that!

I don't think I've ever seen a team release a player during their bye week. When I saw the news come out during the game last night the first thing that came to mind was that Carter got himself in to trouble again. I can't wait to see Terrell Owens **** the bed wearing green and white.

There is always a primary receiver for every play call an no I couldn't tell you who it is. But we weren't moving the ball and the field was starting to flip in the cats favour. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize the deep ball wasn't working. It's on Lapo to start calling plays where the primary receiver is short to mid range. Nocholls has never been the long ball QB. It's not his strong suit. Yes he can throw the deep ball and yes it must be part of the repertoire but it's up to the OC to notice whats working and not and adjust the play call to focus on the short game.

I said earlier in the season when the defence was struggling that at some point this season we'll need them to win a game for us. This was a perfect example where the defence bailed out the offence who at times struggled and gave the cats an opportunity to get back in the game. Hats off to Richie Hall and his charges.

Lapo almost lost the game for us. Even Rod Black said that the Bombers offence needs return to a possession game and move away from the high risk long game. Thanks to the defence for tightening up when they needed to.

I'm sure he's quite happy when he cashes his game cheques. But interestingly enough. I predict another Henoc Muamba release in the off season. Once again he signs a multi year contract but will only see 1 year of it. Another perfect example of taking the money over the right fit. Looks good on him though.

Really? It was no better or worse than any other game Suitor does. that's a tough game to do because as the house broadcaster you need to be looked at as providing as close to a balanced call as you can given the score. What these guys would like to say would probably get them fired. The panel at half time are given considerably more freedom in their opinions and commentary and thats why it's much more entertaining. I'm not his biggest fan but suits is not as bad as many of you make him out to be.

True but the monies the same except for play off cheque. But you can’t put a value on playing in your home town with your family in the stands. Plus he’ll now be living away from his family for the next 4 months

He can’t be too happy though. He chose to go to the Als so he can play in front of family.

The Als have talent on offence but they need a QB. Without one, all the talent is wasted.

We probably bonused him 90% of his salary already. But at sometime you have to cut or losses. Plus it's like playing with 1 less receiver.
