  1. I resemble that comment 😆
  2. You'd also need to make sure the glass was shatter proof plus nail down all items in the booth so that they couldn't become projectiles.
  3. I would look at Maas as an OC. However, I still hold by my belief that Buck should be the next OC. Unless for some reason he doesn't want to move on from QB's coach.
  4. you can call them jackasses but I think deep down we all knew that Harris would be snubbed by the media for the year end awards. .
  5. He might be but I don't think there's a team in the CFL that would give him the coaching reigns. No way no how!
  6. If Lapo and that's a big IF gets a HC opportunity next season. I see the best fit to be in BC.
  7. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut occasionally. Huge difference in how the defence plays Streveler when he's the #1 vs. the #2 who comes in occasionally to run the ball or hand it off.
  8. Booch I usually don't disagree with you but this time I must. All you have to do is look at 2nd down conversions for both QB's. I don't have stats but it sure looked to me Collaros had more success which obviously extended drives. He was also able to escape pressure and make plays where Nichols would often be sacked or throw the ball away. Two different QB's but I believe strongly that Collaros was significantly more effective.
  9. I honestly don't think the first rounder is an issue. The real issue is that it looks to be quite clear that Collaros isn't interested in coming back next season. Arbuckle? Not sold on him at all and to sign him as the #1 would be a huge risk.
  10. It's interesting how Collaros comes in and after 3 weeks with the team and takes the reigns of the offence and executes it masterfully. No other QB on the Bombers executed Lapo's offence like Collaros did. I'm a huge Matt Nichols fan but watching Collaros over the last few games showed me that the offence under Matt Nichols was probably running at 70% efficiency. Then Collaros comes in and we finally see the offence running at close to 90%. Will Collaros be back? I highly doubt it. So who gives us the best chance to win right now? Probably Matt Nichols but it's also incumbent upon the OC (be it Lapo or someone else) to design an offence that works with Nichols strengths but more importantly his weaknesses.
  11. I wonder how many have already been signed but not announced?
  12. I must have missed his video tribute to the team prior to the game. I watched most of the other alumnus videos but must have overlooked his.
  13. Funny how you regret the things you do when you're drunk. 😲
  14. It was somewhat sarcastic based on the apology thread for Lapo.
  15. When he was first hired he did. Many didn't like the optics around his promotion and the fact he had no experience as a GM. it was speculated that Miller hired his "buddy" without looking outside the organization. Then when he hired O'Shea he was criticized that he didn't hire a experienced CFL coach.
  16. Read in the Sun today that sometime last week the entire team watched a Mike O'Shea highlite reel montage. It looked like the entire team dialed up their own version of Mike O'Shea on Sunday.
  17. If were in an apologetic mood (it's so Canadian of us) than we also need to apologize to Kyle Walters. I remember when he was promoted to the GM. Many on here were upset that he was promoted without an exhaustive search for a more seasoned GM. And yes we had some lean years early on but man this team was decimated by previous regimes that knew nothing about building a stable franchise. Rome wasn't built in a day and fixing all the problems with this team took awhile but finally paid off over the past 2 - 3 seasons. I'm still not completely sold with the scouting staff but I'm seeing improvements there too. I've been out spoken about Danny Mac's scouting team and how they have yet to find the game breaker receiver and a QB prospect that could be our #1 for years to come. I was on board with Walters from the beginning as I always thought who better to rebuild our Cdn talent then a Cdn who played the game. And knowing Wade Miller from previous business dealing I knew he wouldn't hire someone just because it was the easy thing to do. He would have had to share the same vision as Miller on how to rebuild the team and franchise as a place where players wanted to play. Good hire and IMO the one person who is most responsible for this championship team.
  18. I'm sorry...so sorry but I'm thankful that you called your best game on Sunday.
  19. That would be nice but IMO I believe that the way way we got to the Cup gave us a leg up and the confidence that we can beat anyone and do it anywhere.
  20. I needed a laugh yesterday so I went back and started to read this thread from the start. Many posters on here need to apologize to Zach Collaros.
  21. I hope he has a chance to lose 1 game as a Bomber next season. But just 1. 17-1 baby!!!!!
  22. Wow that’s epic proportions amazing. But I got say I teared up when I saw Hall crying on the field. After everything he went thru this year. The emotions must have been pouring out. Was so happy for him last night.
  23. I am so ******* hungover but it was worth it.
