87 yards over 2 and a bit quarters is not good enough.
-
The reason he was hit so much is his inability to get rid of the ball. Lets not blame the O-line.

I'm not going to lay some hate on Drew Willy and yes it's pre season but he will never be a winner if he doesn't learn to get rid of the ball quicker. Plus he needs to put a little more zip on the ball. I'm seeing no progression in his game at all and he has no one else but himself to blame if we lead the league in sacks against.

I guess I need to eat a bit of row.

Which one? The one on the left or the right? I vote for the left. Does that make me a socialist? -
Is Henoc Muamba pi**ing away his football career?
B-F-F-C replied to IC Khari's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Henoc figured it out that he's better off making the minimum in the NFL than huge money in the CFL. The obvious aside. He found out first hand last year that being one of the highest paid players on the team isn't always a good thing. If he really wants to play he'd sign a realistic contract for a quality starting CDN and have a long CFL career. -
Highlight video? He looks just like a hundred other rb's that have played in the NCAA.

Hearing the #Bombers have reached out to the agent of Jade Etienne. Possible he's in Winnipeg for training camp. #CFL — Blue Bomber Talk (@BlueBomberTalk) April 1, 2016 https://twitter.com/BlueBomberTalk/status/715903258657558529 Is this an April Fools joke?

Did I fall asleep and wake up in 2085? I assume he's referring to CFL starting QB's. -
wow...from penthouse to outhouse. It just goes to show how a bad GM can sign anyone they want if you throw enough money at it. And the great thing is that he's an even worse coach than GM. The Als don't have a hope in hell. Popp really needed to sign Trevor Harris to even have a chance next season. I hope Muamba made enough money to pay for his across Canada tour.

Call me a negative Nancy but I have a feeling that free agency wont have as big an impact that many here want. I can see Medlock being our BIG FA signing and then anything after that will be the "B" and "C" FA's.

Jason Maas and Scott Milanovich come to mind immediately. I'm sure there are more but I'm lazy tonight.

This statement makes no sense. You're not a fan of him as a person? You not a fan of him as a QB coach?

This strategy will provide players as late season replacements for 2016 and training camp depth for the 2017 season. But it wont do much for filling out the 2016 training camp roster. What's the plan for training camp 2016?

So pretty much what Moore couldn't or didn't do

I guess it depends on what happens with Andrew Harris but it appears that the Stamps aren't too interested in resigning him. I've always liked him as a player but there have been some rumours about him causing problems in the locker room. That was a while ago and maybe he's matured as a man since then. I think we could benefit from a true power back type of RB. Plus I don't think he'd be that expensive. Thoughts?

He's a nice guy but I wouldn't say that he's a good coach. While he was the receivers coach. Did we ever have what I would call an elite receiving corps? Did he have success in developing young receivers? There's nothing there to prove he was a good coach. -

And I thought it would be a boring off season Thank you to the Riders, Redblacks, Als and Esks. Oh yeah! The Riders are a classless organization. Imagine releasing a player and not even calling him first. That's what happens when you hire a guy like Chris Jones. -
solid signing and one that will probably look even better once our new OC builds a offensive scheme that will make life easier for the o-line.

We'll see he true John Murphy now that he's out from under the control of John Hufnagel. Hufnagel signed off on all new signings so it's unknown how much input Murphy had. Remember when we signed Ted Goveia and he was supposed to be a top talent scout. Well based on our recruiting. It must have been Barker who found the talent and Goveia's job was to seal the deal with a signed contract. I don't wish ill will on John Murphy but lets see how well he does now that he's more involved in the scouting and PP. How do you think Jones is going to work in Saskatchewan? Are you confusing Murphy with someone else? Petrie maybe? Did you not read my post. I was saying that Murphy looked good while he worked under Huf. Because Huf made all the final decisions on signings. Just like Goveia looked like some kind of wunderkind under Barker. Sometimes these guys are made to look like geniuses because of who they work under. r

Just like my mother

Because then all you guys would be bitching about the Bombers going cheap and hiring an OC with no CFL experience. You're damned if you do and damned if you don't.
