  1. The challenge call has to be relayed down from the coaches in the booth who have access to replay. Not on MOS. According to O'Shea they did not see that specific replay until the next play had already started. Don't doubt it...the stamps really rushed to get the next play off. Not sure they knew or were just going no huddle.

  3. Not really...the video is quite black and white
  4. I must say that I'll miss reading his articles. Didn't always agree but they were well written and presented.
  5. the redblacks have a starting qb that doesn't get injured every few games.
  6. I'm tired of this charade. Wake me up when it's over.
  7. Have to agree firing the OC and replacing him with a 2nd DC would be a waste of time and money What does a new DC got to do with the firing of Bellefeuille|?
  8. John Murphy would be a risk cause he's shown no aptitude to manage a team. Do far he's just a good scout.
  9. Today wasn't MB's fault. Today was on the players. Sure the receivers didn't help but did you watch the play calling. MB doesn't get a mulligan just because the players played like their OC. Utter crap. I thought the play calling was fine today. Problem was the players. The players couldn't execute, made too many mistakes. I do think there's a leadership problem. You seem to be the only one

  11. Id rather see Kyle Walters take over as interim coach. Don't let MB anywhere close to the HC position. Not even for a moment.
  12. I wouldn't even let MB on the return flight home. Enough is enough. I've seen more imaginative play calling in peewee ball. I used to think it was the on field personnel but these last few games have completely changed my mind.
  13. Along with Marcel Bellefeuille
  14. Unfortunately it's probably a moot point as I don't see Henoc playing west of Ontario. Unless Sask throws an absurd amount of money at him. But Taman's gone so I don't expect to see that happening with the new regime.
  15. When I see those jerseys. It brings back memories of great players like Deiter Brock, Greg Battle, James West, Rod Hill, Tyrone Jones, Joe Poplawski, Rick House and many more. AFAIK...we should never play another game in any other jersey but the "Royal Blues". That's true WBB colours. Plus I think the team plays better in them. Git 'er done Wade.
  16. Well off to Mexico for a week. Putting this behind me. Yeah right
  17. Sounds like his agent is on damage control. Don't want to make it look like its a done deal.
  18. Think about the regimes that brought us success over the years. They've been the ones that have been given the time to get it done.
  19. Sorry ISO. That's not the behaviour of a head coach. As far as I'm concerned. Austin can no longer get upset with any cats player who gets penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct. Good coach but a class A jerk.
  20. I just don't know if the payoff is worth the investment. Yes he's good but there are also Americans that are just as good who will play for half the price. We just have to go out and find one. The other $100,000 can be used elsewhere.
  21. This is playing out exactly as I thought. Henoc is very close to his family and I think the opportunity to play in front of his famy is hugely important to him.
  22. I'm not going to comment on the quality or lack there of of the article but it does echo my feelings of the WBB power troika. I'm still confident in Miller, Walters and O'Shea expect that the necessary changes will occur. We fans expect immediate results and sure this year we haven't progressed as much as we hoped but sometimes you need to regress further in order to see progress. I'm a big supporter of Walters and believe that his moves will work out long term for the club. Miller is keeping himself behind the scenes which is what a President should be doing. O'Shea is the one that I could go either way on but I'm still wiling to give him a third year to see what he can do. Now if Huf comes knocking on our door looking for a job. Well that changes the landscape a bit and would sway me towards tying a can to O'Shea. Change for the sake of it is not always the right decision and I've seen this happen in business where you make a change and all it does is cost a crap load of money and it produces the same results as before. Miller is the guy but he needs to be left alone to work thru his plan.
  23. Sprained his MCL and I believe it was a 4-6 week recovery time. OK...Thanks that probably makes his return this season questionable.
  24. Chris Cuthbert just said that Brett Jones received a injury settlement and is now a free agent. Not sure the extent of his injury and when he might be ready to play. I'd take that Muamba money and give it to him if he was ready to play now.
  25. lawless tweeted that Muamba will work out for the Giants.
