I have no issue with the lawless article. He's a journalist who's paid to provide his opinion. However, I don't understand why MB would be given a pass? I think in most games his offence was more pathetic than our defence. I'm not as anti Etch as some of you are and would be willing to keep him around if he'd agree to make some changes to his defensive schemes to better stop the run and apply more pressure up front. However, I cant see that happening. Now MB is the weaker link I believe and deserves the same scrutiny.

Yes, I'd love to see him used in a more mainstream role on either defence or offence. I dont necessarily see him as an every down kind of player but he could be used more often to take advantage of his speed.

Listening to Kyle Walters interview with H & L gives me a sense of comfort that the teams in good hands and the management team has the best interest of the fans and the organization in the forefront. His draft philosophy is solid and he made no excuses and took responsibility for the teams shortcomings.

There's no question that all three current NI receivers can catch the ball. But are they doing enough to get separation from the defender? This seemed to be an overriding issue this season which I believe lead to some of our sack problems.

I can't go back to the game film but I think that Willy rolled out and moved the pocket earlier in the season and had more success vs the last half of the season where he seems to be sticking in the pocket. I assume this has to fall on Bellefuille. Comparing willy to Reilly is not the best comparison as their games are so different. Reilly makes plays because of his legs. Willy's game is more of a pocket passer.

It could also depend on how we make out in free agency and what positions we might be able to upgrade. But given that, we must hit a couple of home runs on the o-line this year. If we could just find out who the Stamps like of the o-line guys and just draft them. They seem to have an horseshoe up their ass when it comes picking olinemen.

Paris has a strange running style. He has a short stride and he seems like he's hunched over all the time. But who cares what he looks like, as long as he hits those holes and can break a tackle or two.

Marve came in with no previous film on him and caught the Stamps off guard. The Stamps game planned for Brohm who isn't going to beat you with his legs. Then Marve comes in and moves the pocket and takes off. Don't get me wrong, I love a strong mobile QB more than one that sits in the pocket 90% of the time. But we've seen this too many times before.

I guess I'll have to take another look and concentrate on the middle of the line.

Thought it was their best game in the last couple of months. Provided much better pass protection and opened up a few holes for the ground game. Was really impressed with Jace Daniels and thought Gossen showed well too.
