I'm sure FA's talk to players on other teams to try and get an idea of the team environment before they sign. Plus it's a small league and everyone knows everyone else's business. All I'm trying to say is it's not the media's fault.

Still think Stoudermire would make a nice runningback... No...there has to be a couple of guys out there today that have played the position for a number of years that we can take a look at. I think Stoudemire has played a little receiver before but I don't think he's played rb. If we can't find a couple of candidates, then that says something about our scouting staff.

I'm not impressed by either of them. Both can't seem to break a tackle if they're life depended on it. All I want for Xmas is for the WBB's to go out and find a power back that can break a tackle or two. I personally would give up a little in the speed department for a guy that can keep his legs pumping and gain additional yardage after the first touch.

I wish I was as confident in the result as you guys are.

Madani thinks Dressler would be picked up by the Bears should he be released. Apparently Trestman is a big fan of Dressler and because of injuries they need depth at returner and receiver.

1. We have a good QB but the supporting cast needs improvement 2. With Nick Moore in the line up our receivers can stack up to any other group in the league 3. Our O-line doesn't look as good as it did in the beginning of the year but that's mainly due to the abandonment of the run game 4. Willy is one TOUGH customer 5. Our defence is on the smaller side and as we all predicted, Etch's defence is old hat and the other teams are developing schemes on how to beat it 6. Kicking game...no real concerns there 7. O'Shea is the best coach we've had since Dave Ritchie but is still learning the ropes. But I'd rather have O'Shea than Higgins 8. I'm not sure what we can do on defence as most fixes would probably require new personnel and that's difficult to do during the season 9. We may just have found a returner that is a real threat to take one everytime he touches the ball 10. We're significantly better than last year and honestly had no expectations that we'd make the playoffs this season In short, sure I hated to loose the last two games but this team is still a work in progress and don't forget that our starting QB has less than 12 CFL starts under his belt. It will only get better with our coaching and more experience.

That's 3 yds more than grigsby was getting. I'm not a CFL GM but if I was I would definitely favour the big power runner vs. the scatback type of rb. I just feel they're more versatile than the smaller rb.

Grigsby had BC defenders on him before he even hit the line of scrimmage. I'm not defending Grigsby but he didn't get a whole lot of help up front. It was almost as if BC knew what play was called.

Austin is the exact opposite of O'Shea. After that procedure call I swear I thought he was going to self combust. His shtick is going to get old and I think his players will start to ignore him.

This game really dragged on and so much so that I skipped thru most of the second half until the last 4 minutes. I had to PVR the game as I had to attend a Stampede party and didn't start watching the game until 2 hours after it started. So I watched the first half skipping thru the many commercials and thought I'd skip ahead to see the final score. So I pressed the live button and to my surprise there was still 4 minutes left in the game. So I watched the last 4 minutes and honestly thought this was the end of the streak. But Drew Willy true to form took the team on his back and drove the field for the score. I kept saying to myself take your time, don't want to give the Als too much time at the end. Great ending and more importantly we're 3 - 0.

All this coming from guys who have yet to become fathers. Sure the timing sucks but these things don't always happen when you want them to. But if you've gone thru the whole birthing process you'd know it's not like in the old days when women would squat in the field and then go back to work. Maybe she had a caesarian section which makes it difficult for the mom to be the primary caregiver until she's had a chance to recover. So get off your high horses and let him deal with this very personal matter in the way he needs to.
