It possibly could tho with the Thomas signing....say they are looking to spend such and such in FA on some big ticket prices...and only have room for so much depth with vet Canadian salaries....so say 115...120k for a spot...Went to JT in lieu of Woli....and we just basically got rid of any National depth that has experience and usefulness at receiver....a spot we use for ratio...and are carrying 4 National DT's now...a spot where we dont need that much depth there....it wasn't a ratio requirement and especially with 2 of them (JT and Schmeck) who really are bottom barrel talent wise...one of whom has zero upside...and another...Samson who never got a snap...so is a big unknown too....rosterand sms wise....this doesnt look like the smartest allocation of assets and cash...Unless like I mentioned they have some big mind blowing event in FA happening....and I not too positive thats happening

that would make zero sense...basically all new receivers for ZC save for Demski who isnt always healthy, and minimal reps from Clercius....We all know how that will go....as ZC has a hard time dealing it to guys he isnt too familiar with...or has trust...and he gets hissy about it too...which compounds it My impression s we lock up Kenny if we havnt already, and let Schoen explore...to see where he valued after injury, and when he may even be ready...and then decide even minimal reps is a waste...If it is to spell off Lawson...which really should be the only reason we rotate a national in there then use a young guy and develop him...Park JT on the 6 game in case we have injury catastrophe....and keep his salary off the books And depending on how we use ratio...we may not even need a Canadian DT to satisfy the ratio...so dress 2 Nationals....Lawson and the best of the young guys or a possible draft pick

For a QB who relies heavily on trusted vets...and almost under performs without them...and has said himself that Woli is "that guy" for him in many situations...pooching him seems like a bad decision...he would have been perfect also to.mentor Clercius along as well...we saw huge drop off when Woli was missing with Zc performance We saw nothing but better play when Thomas sat out plays...

36 games of insequantial productivity or impact all the while stunting the development of younger guys...Import and National as well as offering no value on teams....start with this I could suit up again and play 18 games....make the odd play and avoid injury by rarely being involved in the fraccass too...or being a missile bee-lining to the play...not just being in a spot where the play basically runs into after yards are gained we have 2 guys right now...And Demski isnt a guy who avoids injury either My fear with Ratio flip is we will see moocho Thomas and Schmeck.....alongside Lawson (who deserves reps) and minimal Adams..Woods..Fox...or another import....and If god forbid Lawson gets hurt...all Thomas and Schmeck.....makes a guy wanna puke That would be the worst interior dline bar none across the league...even an interior with Jake,,Schmeck....and pic one import and Lawson as the main guys...is worst in league inside if we do...may be an away gane at this rate

I meant for usefulness and ability on the roster...I have a lot of high expectations for Clercius...will be a gooder and the more reps the better he will be....but considering we do not need a Canadian DT for ratio....already had 3 signed.....and what Woli and that position brings to offence....makes zero sense...who is behind Clercius for depth?? I don't believe Lawson was an acl..and even so...young guys now come back from that no worse for wear...and a lot of times in better condition...he's had the whole season...and now off-season to rehab and train..i sure he will be his dominant self And TC is for evaluating and assessing and picking your best players...if 3 other guys show better...and also are younger.. cheaper and have potential, in what sane world would u cut or PR one for a aged...declining player...answer me that

I pretty sure Biggie knew the gig was up at end of season...and it can be tough for a player to accept that playing days are done...some know...even during their last yr...some just have to much fire in them to quit...I'll give Biggie that, and he may get a bottom barrel deal somewhere but not to be "the guy" That being said...I would have taken him over Jake as a ST guy and emergency backup/role guy and player coach role...as he would offer value there...Jake offers none whatsoever

Agreed...which harkens back to my belief that our coaching...or lack there of at times has hurt us..and needs to be adressed...it's not as great as many like to believe it is when you have a hard headed stubborn guy overseeing it all who thinks he's always right Not sure he can evolve to be efficient with a new scheme...short outlets..dumps...screens ....he has probably the worst touch to do that of any starter in the league...so not sure he'd be a good fit in that kind of offence..

I think we need to accept the fact...he could.....and now when he tries a lot of times results in a pick....he's definitely trending the wrong way and I'm somewhat concerned how he plays this yr, and the fact that if he is hurting the team, or just not "Zack" anymore you-know-who will ignore it...deny it...make excuses for it...and in the end just ride him into another disappointment when it matters and not allow anyone to develop behind him...let alone get real reps so that if we need them to play....they have a good grasp of things and we actually know what they can do...and what they cant you know as an opposition coach that they are totally scheming and game planning for ZC to force it to his "go to guys" as it's obvious he will ignore others...especially newer guys....basically luring him right into it....why wouldn't they as they know his tendancies It's also baffling our coaches don't see it.....or if they do...do something about it....tell ZC to take their bait....influence them to where they know it usually goes with a look or a pump, then hit the wide open guy....its simple coaching but we avoid the simple and obvious for the old and worn out it worked before mindset....so lets just keep hammering away at that to no avail....our coaching too many times has been our demise...and there been no accountability for it by upper management....or anyone accepting and admitting faut and that "yeah....maybe we could have went about it differently"....I have never heard an instance where we have admitted we fackked things up
