  1. Good to see u back posting...prepare for some jabs and good natured barbs...as u are a rider fan but at least you are an intelligent one...and not the typical mouth breather 😁
  2. I dont want us handing anything anymore....we been there...done that He does deserve and has earned the chance to compete....like legitimately compete...as a QB. Earn your spot and role...maintain it...Is he a guy you can hitch to for 18 games a yr and get it done...we don't know as save for when he first got here he hasnt been used as a actual QB....But he showed he could possibly be....has the arm to make all the throws and isn't a knuckle head by any stretch of imagination. Now maybe he is a guy who is destined to be a superb QB2...can come in as a change of pace if starter is not feeling it....or hurt....A guy who can start and win you games....he has already shown that....and a guy players wlll follow...shown that too....but maybe has just a few things that wont make him elite.....but damn good as your number 2...and spot starter...I'll take that any day But he needs to be allowed to show his QB ability if in camp next yr.....thats when you are able to make the decision to keep or cut bait
  3. isnt 60 the new 45??..lol.....to me tho age is not a factor...coach or player if you can do the job.....big emphasis on "do" And yup 30 for the season....should be about to hit his prime QB yrs if in the right environment
  4. Osh u can bet is all for it....giddy if you will
  5. our offence is a rather unique set-up as it is...with input from player and assistant as to what...where...and why we do stuff....so for a person already here to transition into it would not be that far-fetched....and the core/basis of the playbook stays here....it doesn't disappear with an exiting coach. That being said...new blood and or new "old" blood is always welcome and maybe this is a guy like Damon Allen's foot in the door as he has openly expressed the desire to coach...and has history with Osh....and would totally be onboard with that...and for a guy like Strev would be a blessing for his development...dude is only 29.....if you look at ZC..Harris..Burris...Calvillo Dunnigan...Allen...among others...a lot of their best yrs came after 30 so Strev's is by no means out of time.....with Buck here tho he has no hope in hell And would just hate to see him walk....only to see him land somewhere that gets him to the Grey Cup here in 2025...and he will's that team to victory
  6. i've offered up ol' lefty on several bets/opinions on here.....I don't plan on being a Eunich anytime soon...so confidently slapped both on the line....talks may occur after the season ...etc....but nothing was finalized already...let alone formally talked about
  7. yeah....I give hat about 1 percent of validity....for now....may be a want or discussion BC has had internally.....but done deal....not likely and i would bet both my nuts Buck hasn't even been formally approached about it
  8. Prime healthy Biggie left us late 2021....Good rotational vet leader Biggie showed up in 2022, and after that.....depth role Biggie arrived....but someone here didn't see it that way
  9. yup...the wind was only a small part of it....both those teams dropped the ball against us when they had us down.....they couldn't make the kill.....and we re-grouped...and we made the kills If either of them had split with us....the wind wouldn't have mattered....and in all honesty...if we had lost...I not 100 percent sold the Rider's would have even won vs CGY
  10. yeah...I don\t think you can take Clercius off, as he does a lot in the run game and has as solid a set of hands as we have....Woli tho is ZC safety blanket and they have unreal chemistry...so in key second downs and certain field positions...he will be huge for ZC overall success. NIce to have options....He was hurt with ribs....so he will be able to run and move normally out there...unlike in 2023 when 4 guys we played couldn't run I have feeling Lucky is gonna have a bigger role sunday...even with Demski playing...which he will...no fear of him not
  11. you could stick Woli in for the Hallett who is always hurt...got hurt again...and really offers nothing to the roster
  12. i know...I meant that in if we had our own Anderson we allowed to play into a stud...as opposed to take a seat behind tenured...decling injury prone vets And to me any ara of concern is one where you dont have a top 3..4 player....or viable predecesor/back-up.....we have several areas of concern
  13. if they need to purge...It's Campbell....totally mismanaged that situation there...fractured his locker room, and in all actuality has failed now how many yrs? Rourkie Pie sure...should have been brought in on a prorated deal for 2024...a deal in the drawer for 2025-2027 r3flective of what happened this yr......and he should have been number 2 and Vaj allowed to steer the ship like he was and get out of his little funk....and if he couldnt after Rourke Pie was back for 3..4 weeks then given his shot.....He literaly facked their season all to hell, and that alone if I was Doman would have snipped him the day after the season ended Also I not sure why everyone likes to hang of Macksymic's bean bag either....he caught some lightnening in a bottle...but he has at most times had flawed game pans and cant seem to make adjustments
  14. I would hope we are done with the awarding of starter spots regardless of TC....Impressive play...or you're a rookie...etc......thats what got us in a bit of a issue before...and we still not totally out of it Jone's definitely deserves to come to camp as the incumbent, but has to have challengers and has to earn it..be it a guy already here in...a new guy next yr....or FA signing This idea of you need to be around a yr or two before you can be a starter is B.S....seems to only happen here unless an injury dictates otherwise, or a player defects I'd take Anderson from the Elks over pretty much any of our current guys...he was allowed to earn the spot...grow into it...and is a legit stud now
  15. I like to crap on Osh when the weird stuff and questionable moves occur more than anyone....that being said...Injuries...rookies....that start...the finish...securing the west again...that should totlly have been the West's nominee and the winner last night....credit where credit is due sticking to their guns 100 PERCENT
  16. makes one appreciate our consistency...and continuity with our upper management and coaches....I can't imagine being in the situation some these teams are/have been in last few yrs again....we put in more than our dues with mediocrity and incompetence
  17. Yeah...Beverrette had the better season and should have won.....there were several others who could have been up for that tho The rest went as it should have...hard to believe BO wasn't unanimous for MOC and it was as close as it was for MOP but with this media not shocking....But rightfully earned this time and sadly he should be the reigning guy for both those awards going into 2025 Happy for Grant....deserved it before already....humble guy...just does his job...I hope we bring him back next yr and right that wrong Mace as COY tho....just like always giving the Riders a non playing award to stroke their fragile minds dont get that pick....barely over .500 team...still some serious team character flaws apparent....7 game skid...and really if B.C didn't totally screw their season, and the Elks and CGY being so bad there would have been no home playoff date....possibly missed playoffs all together ....so that pick kind of a joke. Pretty easy to improve on whatthey did the last several yrs thre....they would have had to hire a total doofuss to be worse well he wont be ready until mid-season at earliest...so if we do bring him back at a reduced salary..as age an injury will dictate that...he won't be on the books at all...so no harm there....but...big but if Osh inserts him over anyone else....mid season when guys are dialed in something is seriously wrong....may have to have Walter's just take that chance away from him and not give him the option
  18. sadly....based on how things are done...some young upside player...probably one who is already producing will have to take a seat
  19. He presses the line so well too..what a tool for no shout out lol
  20. BO vindicated...and he's become quite a pro at same time...Congrats
  21. Nick Anderson tho is a solid classy dude...would make a perfect Bomber
  22. Yeah definitely need a new cast of writers and producers
  23. Yeah...maybe a yr of seasoning...another camp next yr...and he turns a corner
  24. people crap on the head ref all the time...he just reporting the news for the most part other than any penalty he calls personally....80 percent of calls are by the other clowns
  25. yup.....why say that is just baffling
