  1. i'd engage and revel in your vitriol
  2. hopefully he can navigate the maize of training camp and although somewhat liited in attempts he avaeraged over 10 yards a PR and 21 a kickoff...so as in in gae replacement he wont just bobble and drop for no gain....so that depth is nice and especially with his National status...and yes he does have some wheeels on him and has to be accounted for out there
  3. he was playing a bit knicked a lot of the yr and I think Randolph is the heir apparent there...If Vpool progresses can see him in 2027 at RT and and Randolph at LT...Hopefully both are Bryant shadow and soaking it all in...we also have that one guy we signed who name escapes me coming to camp who could really impress too. Yeah both he a Neuf graded out well and were solid of not better for most part And like u said and not to beat a deadhorse to death....but the ripple effect of a lousy center cant be understated enough...I fully expect Wallace as well to look worlds different if we have a legit center.... Anothe thing...OC guys structure and schemes were garbage too...so I sure that had a hand in our line at times looking lost
  4. Good signing really...proven National depth...proven returner as a backup in a pinch with in game injury...can run jet.....Far better player than Corcorran who if we draft well and or grab a National in FA should never see the roster
  5. I think he learned that lesson hard last yr I'm really curious as to what our draft strategy is this yr...
  6. or was he stone walled by whatever reason and not really given the chance....we shall see this summer if he comes out of camp as the starter and how the line plays as a group during the season...thet will be the indicator right there....And if he gets beat out by a rookie...Or Vibert...well then it is what it is....Tho I will stand on my hill and say he is better than Kolo ...always was
  7. seems like it....i like his approach this yr for sure, tho some the money seems a bit out there, but maybe he knows that he was X amount more to use this yr so it's just the new norm...Tho I sure all the signings pre 2026 have money on the 2025 books, so the actual 2026 hit wont be what it seems.... I just want him this yr to have 1..2 targets in FA that will be no doubt about it upgrades and do what it takes..we def have the resources to do so, and playing nice the last 3 yrs...well that didnt pan out...time to be greasy lol
  8. hopefully we have a real camp...real battles and the cream rises...whoever that may be....but hopefully we are past the old way of certain positions are pre-decided and to heck what TC showed. If for anything at the very least we know Eli is as solid a 6th you can have...can play multiple spots and is just a machine in jumbo...
  9. I think his injury was still an issue and was hurried back before really ready...where have we seen that before and it was affecting his explosiveness, and to me looked like it was still in his head and was self preserving Dude wouldnt have lost it all over one off-season. He was also misused/basically neglected on the offence as he could have added a nice lil element if integrated into the system...but the OC and the in no rush to hire a a legit OC last yr was reason for that and we settld for a guy who isnt qualified to run a Prep School offence....and not sure what spots we still need to fill, but Osh's "in no rush" to hire anyone is just more par for the course...hopefully that attitude is the last hold over with him for 2026 and he truly seen the errors as he claimed and is gonna be more hands on and fix things...Thankfully Walter's smartened up and took 2 dead weight anchors away from the equation for TC
  10. Yeah we in pretty good position there with incubants and recruited guys...and we havnt seen what FA offers...tho like u said...we need to focus on both lines and WR Do u really need to ask with u know who as the coach...cause it could be asked at likely 4 positions at mi imum the last few yrs
  11. JT still wanted to play tho...so not really on his terms...so we threw him a bone essentially As for Stan...he played just fineast yr and if he back he stays where he is...only change i could see is him and Randolph flipping He's earned the right to.come back and compete and show he still has it..and if he doesn't I can see him doing a Miller on the 6 game all yr or on the PR at full salary just in case and be that veteran presence to guide our young tackles and quasi coach All that said...ive seen nothing to indicate he is not still in the top tier of tackles...last yr for a good majority of our offence cant be viewed as for what it appeared...we were facked from day1
  12. Last year I woulda chased Pickett...but like said here....we way over spending in secondary as it is so that be just robbing from Peter to pay Paul and not really benefitting us I like what we have in Woodbey, Allen, Smith and Shay and we need to let that young talent keeo getting better, and by what has been seen all will be pretty damn good Hopefully we sign Griffin to round it out as he would be a big loss, and is just hitting his prime too, and is also just so dam versatile and perfect for Younger's system
  13. he would be the worst spare Olineman on a roster....cant play anything but center...and well...we saw how he plays that....as a guard he's be obliterated and embarrassed more than at center....so if a tackle or guard got hurt...1 injury would likely mean 3 position swaps....
  14. yeah agreed....they played fine and realistically if we improve at center....it will benefit the whole line.....Vets on oline are huge...especially ones who been in same system forever....and i doubt both will ask for the moon. And thats what camp is for....to see who has the ability, as they can always be cut
  15. yeah...It has eh...Dollartree too...got in on that dip in the high 80's...sitting at 136.56 as of today...cha ching a ling
  16. well he is head and shoulders better than Kramdi...so I hope to god more than that lousy deal
  17. Interest in American athletes and scouting agencies and agents...it would also pique interests of some new non fans...if anythibg may look into what cfl is..and yes possibly become fans And you dont need to determine who a #1 could be...u determine who/what you may want via scouting and team philosophy...and then claim your pick...if still there...just as when neg list guys u previously had wanted to only find they on another teams..and if they don't wanna come...they don't come..hence why prior to draft and during your seasonal scouting maybe you reach out and indicate we may draft you..and if no nfl opps come for you..would you come up? Basically do some due diligence How many guys in the Cdn draft dont come..or fight coming until basically no chance in hell the nfl dream is gonna materialize? Same thing And if you ain't trying to get better and get exposure...wtf u doing then? Isn't that a gripe around here that we as a league aren't thinking outside the box or looking for ways to promote? Yet when some ideas come about...the whiners piss on it...smh at times Where most times than not the true gems do anything and everything not to play here...so the difference is??
  18. in all honesty...why would any team give up on a younger guy with upside still...and is already pretty much proven...For ZC??....Especially based on what has been seen the last 2 yrs and a bit...never happen and a G.M who did that should get canned
  19. as have I....That be one of the more smarter things they could do reallly and your scouting would be key for a draft...just like the CDN draft, and probably more often than not most guys on a Neg. list have no interest either, and at times nary a clue they even on a teams neg list...At lest f a draft is published potential guys would see it and pique their interest...It would also pique interest in guys who didnt get drafted by any league but wanted to play, to possibly get an agent to contacy yeams in Canada I know first hand tons of players I work with, who were declined NCAA opp's for grades..conduct...etc and go the JUCO route who could play up here and have no clue at all about the C.F.L....And same can be said too with a lot of the NCAA guys
  20. WHY not...based on career Sayles averages more tackle a yr, and only 1 less sack per....and is younger....so quite comparable really if you look at the play of both. Sayles as well is mire durable and misses less time....Not saying he is a guy you spend like a drunken sailor on but a fair deal he is a good piece on your dline, especially if you can add another interior guy to go along with Lawson and him
  21. yeah thats the guy.....thanks....and yeah I recall the circumstances of him up here were a bit outside the norm
  22. Oh hell yeah....If we draft good...recruit and use FA effectively Corcorran shouldnt make it outta camp
  23. He actually got a pretty good deal offered by the Rider's...but he didnt wanna play anywhere else so hung em up...I think an Eastern team as well did but my mind is slipping on that one We bungled that bigtime and we payed and payed well for other injury issue guys, and for guys who..well just couldnt cut it....I'd take his 13..14 games over several of the pylons we dressed....and he always showed up come playoffs....in a huge way Bud Grant was a phenomenal player by the way....go revisit history not just soft...pointless and pre-determined with who is playing...so almost useless he's a eye test star...Looks the part...but isnt what you think Horrible route runner...questionable hands....injury issues...Looks like Tarzan but plays like Jane If he gets over 145k per...thats a gift and he should be thankful Ajou was eye test only, as in looked the part....even had horrible measurables too for a guy of his build...he's a worse version of KSB....But both have the same ability in being douchewhistles on the field tho
  24. ahhh....gotcha....but none the less a players career and his talent level has really no bearing on anything....as well as if never played...Some giys are just made to be able to coach, get points and strategy accross, and to actually demonstrate....and most hone that craft over yrs...and it's a rarity to just plop a gy into the pro coaching ranks with zero experience...and or zero idea if they can do the job....other than we really liked hi as a player...he so smart..etc...etc I would want the best players and coaches available on my team, not some gifted placement....
  25. Those guys also had coached previous to their HC gig...for yrs...Dinwiddie was also trained in the U.S in the NCAA under more experienced and legit systems than Acadia U....bit of a difference Umm....guys coming from U.S into Canadian Pro ball do have a lot of learning and technique refining to adapt to how to play the Canadian game...especially in the interior...and yea a lot of guys too in the CFL and NFL for that matter...a lot of times moreso in NFL, come in very raw and have relied on their god given talent against lesser talented guys in University to overcome technical weakness....hand skills..etc..So technique drills and refining skills to adapt to the new game are pretty key on the DLine How's a guy with limited at very best skills in that regard teach it, by showing, and or critiquing what they doing wrong, or how to correct it?
