well if we don't make a couple vital key changes....and a shift in how we do things...we may not even get to it. We partly did a rebuild this yr even tho we didn't intend to....and had some the growing pains for it already...but we have to without a doubt finish the turnover this winter and shed ourselves of a good 5...6 guys at minimum...stop blocking progress of some already here...and if it cause our staff thinks they not good enough...then replace them already we already laid the majority of the ground work for the roster turnover and transition...so finishing it next yr by any means will not be a down year....more likely the opposite But running it back next year with BA...Biggie..Thomas...Schmeck...Kolo...Wilson...Sheehan...Lucky..the one Hallett...and some of our longer in the tooth foot soldiers is doing the proverbial one step forward and 2 steps back This has to be Walter's biggest and smartest off-season and take some of these issues totally away from Osh...and if he doesnt like it I am quite fine with him riding off into the sunset...nothing lasts forever...especially in pro football

recievers made a few gaffs....but not like ZC was throwing dimes....throwing gyus open or hitting guys in stride....last yr...yr and a half thats been a rare sighting

I would say....and mostly likely the reason...Cause Wilson ws here first and broke camp with us.....even tho Dolegala has starter experience....has won games....and has faced many of the guys on T.O's defence....and spent 2+yrs in the league...Osh was classic Oshin'.....and can add that to another in his long list of dumb decisions

he's done nothing in season really in any yr...who he breaks camp with...he feels are the ctas ass.....he hasnt realy evolved as a coach...when he had sub par talent...he almost had his butt fired....but at least then he seemed to be trying and we actually did different things....he got the top talent...we cruised a bit...they have aged and regressed...he keeps running them out there and coaches even less...and we rarely adapt or change abything...and we been sputtering and stumbling...and been out classed in 3 straight cups

any DT we would have brought would take a back seat to Thomas and Scheck....cause Osh seriously thinks they are legit

or Osh....Osh sees all his fav's...his boys as they were in 2019...2021....Thats a long time ago in football yrs...especially when over 30 He also needs to drop his Canadian bias and play the best players for majority of reps

glove...no glove...who called the deep shot....who cares...fact of matter....they knew he couldn't grip the ball....and if a QB cant grip a ball....he cant throw it...well with any authority and purpose/accuracy...The glove was to minimize/cover/obstruct the bleeding so he didnt have to be pulled from game....Putting him in knowing that was a big mistake...blunder....was basically a pathetically stupid thing to do...and par for the course with Osh and his favorites...inexcusable and he should be held accountable for it Any of our other 2 guys just had to step in and play clean and sound and have plays set up for them to succeed...play withing their strengths....hmmmmm like Dinwiddie did with Arbuckle...MAss did with Th Faj....not having a QB prepped and prepared for just that reason....in a playoff game....huge coaching blunder....plain and simple..... And if you are not comfortable with certain guys on roster...why they there then...Osh likes to yip yap about they all starters...in the building for a reason....and if they in the building...it's because they can help us win games...I call B fricken S on that load of hooey as he doesn't coach like that....and never pulls a guy unless they have a limb fall off if they are one of his beloved vets who played well for us half a decade ago now He needs to see players as to what they are....not waht they were...thats his problem

in all honesty.....I put out the "positive" vibe.....was more a hope....but truly expected this...and figured in playoffs if we were to fail again....would be mainly due to coaching....roster....preparedness...and essentially was that....many guys had poor games...but were they really prepared adequately....and even if they executed whater the game plan was flawlessy...would it have mattered....I dont think so That being said....6 yrs in a row...and 3 of 6 aint that bad....right?

or if we can restructure that?...not sure how gaurantee money works, but maybe we eat that and push it to this yr money.....and deal/dump him

this is vital...key...imperative??..call it whatever but Walters needs to take some of the control away from Osh as to who he can roster I'm trying to recall how pay goes for playoff money for players, but possibly MCI was 1 gamed to give him game day pay? There may be a limit to how many get bonus playoff game cheque....dont quote that for truth but could be part of it But we have a solid younger core now....as I laid out in my other thread....if someone can merge that into this and remove it then it cam be all in one I see them more as Mr Pib drinkers and toilet hooch....and microwaved Jamaican meat pies from 7/11....

Bridges I think has potential....Case and Mitchell...why...we dont need those kid of body type receivers and neither is gonna be a bonafide returner....The rest are good keeps...I don't see Smith....dumb as he had most potentail and could have been an American version of Demski....but faster

All in all...another disappointment, and there are several reasons for it again...constants if you may call them that and really easily solved...and many won't like hearing this and will blindly disagree, but it's easily fixed if Osh would pull his head partly out his arse. The onus this off-season is on Walters and his team to sign and bring in the talent...and also part ways with some guys...even if the coach disagrees. I cannot see Miller being happy, nor he wanting a major bedshitting at home next yr in the Cup...let alone not even getting to the Cup... Thru necessity and not choice we have had to get younger and thats a plus...there are some solid pieces here now to go with keeping the right vets...and thats they key part of it...right vets. And by vet i mean a guy who's been here this yr and before Lawler and Schoen..Strev...Wilson...Clercius...BO...Demski...Woli ..MCI...Wallace....Bryant...Randolph...Eli......WJ...Nichols...Bonds...Ford...Holm...Griffin...Kramdi...Kelly...Cole...Garbutt....Woods....Adams...Lawson...was on fence with Haba but he stepped up so deserves another shot......Ayers...Hubert..,,Samson...Chris Smith deserves another shot....Person....Qb Wilson....Hubert deserves another camp....I'd love to see Notree back....thats the core we need to focus on retaining....fill in around that...everyone not mentioned who wasn't primarily a ST guy should not be back...and saves up some serious SMS bucks...and makes us younger...hungrier....better On the fence with ZC and his hefty contract....he will be another yr older and do we want another season of stats only to stumble in play-offs? It seems to be the trend and not a one off.... We have the guys to maintain a core like we seem to like to do...but a younger core....and we need to go that route...and this is totally up to our HC now to do the right thing(s) We are set up for continued sustained success....but we need to bring the right players along for it...We need a stud interior dlineman to augment what we have...we need a legit difference maker linebacker...we need a real returner....we need another proven Canadian offensive lineman...we need a real punter....I see 5 dire needs...which isn't a lot in the grand scheme....and the biggest thing we need to do is construct the roster and the PR aa an entity that compliments and covers it....no more carrying wasted spots....or guys all yr that will never bump anyone off...we seem to do that a lot too And the biggest key...we need to dress and play the best players we have...regardless of birth certificate and or position...and if that means moving pieces around and switching ratio spots...so be it

I wonder...If Strev wasnt hurt...does he come in and stay in and drag this team to victory?....I think he does But...I think Wilson could have too....T.O had zero tape on him and the guy showed poise and a crazy arm...plus he is mobile....I see good things in his future if we develop him like we did Brown...He seems more ready at this juncture than Brown did too...Look forward to his development next yr for sure
