  1. Is there a link to it? I need a good laugh
  2. YEAH was almost wondering if that was your ST Coordinators plan to keep things between the hashes...or just Ryan trying to he-man all his punts for the ooh-ahh effect...seemed odd You guys were way better with Bartel at 3o to 40k cheaper most likely
  3. their self proclaimed "best" oline in the league in 3 games against top defenses (us and Cgy) has given up 15 sacks...and countless pressures...and ran for an average of 69 yards a game....very dominant oline play
  4. the funny part is Ryan beaking at him too....he can boom a punt sure...but thats not the be all end all...and they have given up most punt return td's and average gain on a return in league...lots of that is cause of your punter..100k well spent
  5. If he doesn't play oline or several spots on defense he won't help them much...when you have about 7 minutes of T.O.P in a half like in the BB cause your defense can't get off the field doesn't really matter what you have on offence with a creaky O-line
  6. Wherein this is where The Strev gives us more...sometimes those situations with him he takes off and they turn into plays of 10 yards or more...
  7. I feel he is better than Nichols...all intangibles aside, I believe he gives us more chances to win...especially when it gets cold out. 4-5 drives would have stalled the last 2 games with no production at all with Nichols in and not having Strevelers abilities to escape...or get yards on the ground...also after heavy doses of him running you see players...a lot of DB's almost shy away and not want to stick their nose in there to meet him head on. Slowly Lapo is morphing things each week tailored to Streveler..and it has shown on the field...once that kid gets fully comfortable and confident...look the eff out
  8. And younger than Hecht..
  9. Fjardo throws a decent ball in the 10 to 20 yard area...but his deep ball is not good...noodle arm so has to put a lot under it...and those deep type lolipops are prime for picks
  10. that was a classic duck and chuck because of the pressure in his face....should never have put that ball up
  11. as the season goes...he will find the range on his deep balls...
  12. yeah he was their best player...and most professional. I said right from the get go that he would fade...and the first few games where he was hitting those deep shots was more catching teams off guard as teams didn't think he could make a deep ball...and if you go back and watch that pretty much everyone was a matter of a ball hanging up there and the receiver having to stop...or come back for it...DB's usually were in trail and not a position to make a play....but once teams caught on..it would basically disappear...which it has
  13. Lucky tho has basically caught everything thrown at him...and has averaged 8.4 yards a carry on his runs....not like he isn't doing anyhting...and he draws attention from others...
  14. hey...we went into these games minus Nichols for EDM...And Harris for the 2 rider games and everyone thought we were screwed...and yet rally we should have been 3-0 in that stretch
  15. no....but the way we beat them...with 8 regulars missing..and they were "supposedly" the number one ranked...which I didn;t agree with based on their schedule...and barely beating us in LDC with our depleted lineup.
  16. Hansen won't effect any dline decisions I wouldn't think..he doesn't hurt us out there by any means...but you don't mess with success...and I would say we have the best dline in the league
  17. Right now we have Gray..Desjarlais..Speller..Couture and Eli as nationals...save for Eli all have started games and are all young...Couture and Speller are 25..Gray 24 and Eli 23...could be set for years on the interior...Even Neufeld is only 30...not old for an olineman by any means
  18. plus he just turned 22 this year...guys still a kid!
  19. Lucky brings more than Nelson I think...I also think Lapo hasn't quite figured out what to do with him yet....and he truly is one of the only few guys in the league who is a threat to take it to the house from anywhere...right now teams swarm him, so once we get other guys doing more...things will be more open for him....he also takes a lot of focus from defenses..especially with fakes to him which allows us to make big plays.
  20. Jeffcoat and Alexander when healthy are a lock to be back in the starting defense. A starting D-line of Jefferson, Nevis, Richardson and Jeffcoat with Roh, Kongbo and Jake rotating in will be just dominating Rios as the extra DB will make us very strong there as well, though how we use the DI's will be interesting when we have Lucky healthy, and you can't take Grant out, and even with all Lucky brings I think Bailey brings more as a pure receiver even though when thrown to, Lucky has pretty much caught everything save for may a drop or 2...though I can't recall cringing about any drops. Possibly we roll with Grant and Bailey as a DI with Medlock and Roh and go with Jones, Exume, Hallet and Wright as extra DB's...we have done that quite a few games so it's not unthinkable The thought though of after break getting back Harris..Jeffcoat..Alexander..Speller...hopefully Neufeld eventually Nichols and game time to get up to speed is a pretty comforting thought..especially now seeing as our depth guys and back-ups have got a lot of valuable playing time, so if an injury occurs late in year, or in play-offs guys are gonna be able to slot right in with basically next to no drop off...and lots of familiarity with the other starters
  21. Lavoie too is a real game changer when in for his 7-10 snaps a game
  22. I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out who the stud National DT they are missing is...is it 4 tackle and 1 sack Evan's???...or the 15 tackle 1 sack Evans of a year ago??? for 200k per year
  23. Ooops lol
  24. Sask cant handle Strev so why would you not start him..and he would have had several more games to develop by then..I can see another pummeling in their barn
  25. Yeah..in 2 games with our backups we have rushed for 341 yards versus their great run defence...shows you what they are when they play a good team Cgy to put 130 yards on them..that defence are total pretenders yet act like they are dominant...fools....
