Yeah good value for sure considering we payed Nick Moore way more than that and he has never produced like Bowman has. I can take the odd drop here and there if he opens up space for Adams and Harris and chips in with 80+ catches and 1100 to 1200 yards or so and 8 to 10 tds...all numbers I think he will eclipse btw in this offense and with his familiarity with Nichols ..plus you can bet he is gonna play possessed to prove doubters wrong and stick it to the Shmoes

Thing with him he really thrives with lots of balls...and is a huge yac guy and will draw lots of attention...especially if we establish going to him often and early. This is really going to help Harris...in production, and wear and tear as he will a lot of times only have to contend with 1 guy on him as opposed to usualy 2 and 3 converging on him immediately....same with Dress in the middle now, and just think the room and match-ups that Darvin will have to contend with. Sure he 32...soon to be 33 but he showed last part of season he is still a force...and the fact that 4-5 teams were after him shows that most teams believe he still has lots of upside.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was a ploy to get out of a contract...then turn around when the "opportunities" didn't pan out and shop services around to all CFL teams to get the best deal they could...which leads one to agree with not letting this occur as guys could start doing this more often then not...and bring back the option window so that if you do explore an "opportunity" and it doesn't turn out for you then you are tied to your CFL team that next year...and only play elsewhere if they deal you...or you sit out and pout

darvin Adams was a huge meh by most...as well as a who??? we all know how that worked out...tho I think the same as I did when we grabbed Adams that was diamond in the rough...put him as a dedicated member of your top three and I bet he shines. He's the type of guy whom if you get involved and keep involved will produce...real good on jump balls and has a big catch radius...stuck on the Raidrs active roster for 12 games one year so must have some skill...he was just buried in Ottawa so didn't get a lot of reps

That's kind of how I see it...I think we grab Dean...Demski...Gill and most likely Daniels or Criner..I say we opt out of Bowman just for the fact we know we need Westerman for multiple reasons and truthfully if we address linebacker and keep d-line intact we can live without Heath. Walker is young and showed some real flashes and his miscues were soley due to his age and being in a totally new environment and league...a big thing to absorb for a 21 yr old coming to the Canadian game at one of the toughest positions to translate from U.S ball. Gaitor and Clarke give us experienced depth and I actually thjink those were 2 very sneaky good moves. Now maybe we have more flexability and $$ available to really make a splash in free agency and land a lot more...we shall see but from what I hear we are sitting really good sms wise and a lot of our re-ups and extensions don't really reflect much on what 2018 SMS is available...That is why the decision to let Hurl//Thomas..JFG...Normand walk is key and benefits us more on a salary standpoint and a upgrade in skill

Can we trust the injury bug stays away from Demski tho...I think Neufeld has got a bad rap for injuries up to 2015...since then he has been good tho albeit it in limited play, but sometimes **** just happens and you cant escape an injury... As for the 4 olineman...I guess you see what 2019 brings in terms of guys available and how goes performed this year. If Neufeld stays upright and plays well...Couture shows he is starter material or a solid 6th..Spooner keeps developing and say Gray is back, or we drafted another stud...you may have the depth right there to go 4 Nationals without even dipping into the free agent pool. If we go Bond this year tho...we sacrifice either Westerman and or Heath this year, and my mind tells me the absence of Bond leaves us stronger as a team than without one or both of Heath/wESTERMAN

Still young and relatively unproven but has the skill and potential. I guess depends on where we are wanting to go with the ratio and also...do we have an adequate back-up who could step in if he goes down without messing with ratio...or leaving us weak Best bet is to land the stud import..and have guys on roster we could shuffle and move if he got hurt..I would have no problem with JSK sliding into the middle and Wild filling his spot..as opposed to a lesser talented back-up canadian role player having to step in. Hopefully where our ratio is headed that maybe by next year we are going 4 nationals on the oline and basically only needing Loffler as the National on defense...

Didn't want Sherrit so not a big deal Dean was always the prime pick I think...and just coming into his own..A unity with Dean and JSK and Leggitt with Wild rotating in would make good sense to me and allow us to be a lot more aggressive on defense and dithch the role the MLB played lately...

Maybe we are targeting simonese in the draft..if we going that route With Couture and Spooner in the fold..Chungh and Goose established and happy here and possibly Gray in a yr or two we can probably wait a round or two to pick an online guy cause after a point they are wasted picks as they are buried on PR and you lose them anyway. With Coates.. Wolitowski..possibly DEmski as a free agent then grabbing a receiver in draft makes good sense. I would like to see us get Evan Gill to rotate with Faith and Corney as our depth as Marouf develops. Ideally we can keep Westerman with increase coming outta Thomas' salary and balance of Thomas and JFG salary to to a Gill or similar DL and Hurls money used on an import mlb

If we are gonna pay large dollars I would rather offer Mathews that and see if he is interested in coming back. If not..i think 150-155k should be more than enough to land a Daniels, or even less would be a deal we could get Criner...who I think is a Darvin Adams type guy just needing to have his opportunity to be a top 2 guy in a system My default would be going after SJ Green and only cause his age, but he is probably the most clutch guy out there

Our online may have sucked somewhat..but a lot of the unsucking has to do with game experience gained in chungh and goosen..and the cohesion and continuity with them all being familiar with each other and knowing how to work together.. and know how they react to stunts..schemes..certain players That's the biggest thing with online play and I have seen first hand lines dominate with not necessarily all the best most dominant guys..but kicked add cause they functioned so good as a unit...and that's where ours is at..as well as working with lapo too now going on 3 years. Couture as well got a lot of in game reps as injury replacement...especially inc2016 and didn't look outmatched one bit. He will be fine..and if there are issues we can slot foketti in the lineup at either the guard spot...or flip him and Yoshi. Not sure if most here would know but he could be a starter on any other team in this league and it's a real testament to where this club is at..and the culture it has developed that he is still on our roster...he was in my opinion one of our key off-season resigns..and love him cause he is a mean nasty sob on the field

If we can find or land a stud receiver to go with Adams and Dressler and say land Demski to rotate in with Drew and Coates then we can utilize bond and just loffler and the Westerman and Corney/Ekakitie rotations. If that not an option possibly we go Canadian at boundary corner..see if Jones/Branning/Conteh can manage the spot.

Gonna have to canibilize defense elsewhere.. .or roster in general. They also have nothing of any significance signed at DT.
